Simone Ashley is exercising al fresco – in a two-piece workout ensemble. In a new social media post the Bridgerton star poses with a friend after a walk outside, wearing a white, belly baring outfit. How does she approach diet, exercise, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Hydration

Ashley’s top health advice? “Stay hydrated! You work long days with all the wigs, costumes, and makeup, so staying hydrated is key. I also like to steam my face at the end of the day—it’s a good way to clear the skin out,” she told Vogue. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

2. Pilates

Ashley’s workout of choice? “I swear by reformer Pilates—I was introduced to it a few years ago,” she told Vogue. “For Pilates, I go to the Alo studios when I’m in the States and it’s one of the best workouts I’ve done in my life. Laura Quinn is one of my trainers there, and she’s changed the game for me in terms of how hard I can push my body. It’s a very mindful and thoughtful exercise— sometimes it’s the minimal movements that are the most powerful. For women, it’s great because it connects you to your pelvic floor, plus it gives you a full awareness of your body. Whenever I’ve got lots of press coming up, or a red carpet, if I work out lots I feel less depressed and generally happier. And I feel like the best version of myself.”

3. Running

You can also find Ashley pounding pavement. “I’m a massive runner, I run all the time,” she told Vogue. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

4. Healthy Diet

“I also try to eat a really healthy diet; I eat a lot of protein. There are lots of ways to get your nutrients in and I would say that diet is a big thing for healthy hair,” Ashley told Vogue. She added to Glamour UK That she loves green juice and other healthy staples, like salmon, fueling up on the omega-3 rich fish before shoots. Her guilty pleasure? “Ice cream is one of my favorite things—I’d have it every day if I could. I love everything from a vanilla soft serve to cherry to Oreo, literally everything. Whatever the flavor, I’m down for ice cream,” she told Vogue.

5. Hiking

Simone.Ashley.1Simone Ashley/Instagram

Ashley, “a big nature person,” she revealed in an interview with Conde Nast Traveller, regularly sweats outdoors. “I love hikes,” she said. “For me, a perfect vacation would be exhausting myself playing in the sand, swimming, hiking, exploring, and then treating myself to an absolutely massive meal and some really nice wine with friends and good music. I'm trying to be a bit more cultured and push myself to do more city-searching and going to exhibitions and all of that. But at heart, I'm a big explorer,” she said.

Whitney Simmons, a popular fitness influencer, consistently shares her wellness journey with her millions of followers. Known for her dedication to mental and physical health, she regularly posts workout routines, tips for managing her autoimmune condition, and the importance of gratitude. Recently, Simmons shared a back and bicep workout on Instagram, offering tips like "elbows have to stay pinched to your side" when doing bicep curls. Beyond the gym, she’s open about her struggles with psoriasis and how she's embraced confidence over time. From mixing up her workouts to trying new fitness approaches like Pilates, Simmons is an inspiration to her followers, showing that wellness is a combination of fitness, mental health, and self-care. Here's a look into her approach.

1. She Lifts Weights

Simmons showed off a recent workout that targeted her back and biceps while wearing cute brown camo workout pants, a white tube top, and white sneakers. When doing bicep curls, she explained that “elbows have to “stay pinched to your side,” and palms should face the sky. Another tip the trainer gave was to drive your elbow towards your hip, then squeeze your lat at the bottom when doing single-arm cable pulldowns.

2. She Doesn’t Hide Her Psoriasis

Simmons once felt uncomfortable showing her psoriasis, an autoimmune condition that causes itchy, scaly patches of skin, but now she’s in a more confident place not to feel shame or embarrassment over the condition. “The more severe it got, the more I wanted to cover it,” she told Women’s Health. She worried that showing it would make people uncomfortable. But now, she chooses to be vulnerable. “I have so many women in my DMs who say, ‘I used to cover every inch of my body at the gym, and now I just don’t care. I am going to wear the shorts.’”

3. She’s Grateful

Faced with heavy and dark life issues, at one point, Simmons wanted to end her life by driving into a concrete wall. “But “at the very last second, I decided, ‘Not yet,’” she told Women’s Health. A few days later she started therapy and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. She took a long break from social media, and followers began asking what had happened. She shared her story on the Fleurish podcast and then eventually her channels. Therapy and telling her story helped her grow confident, and now Simmions is in a great place. “From seeing nothing beautiful in any day, to now—I am so grateful that I made it through that,” she says. “It is a beautiful day to be alive.”

4. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

Whitney Simmons.4BWhitney Simmons/Instagram

Experts always recommend switching up your gym routine to help prevent hitting a plateau with fitness goals, reduce the risk of injury, and keep workouts fun. Simmons mixes up her workouts and shares with followers exactly what she does to achieve her goals. For leg days, she does the following:

“LEGS GET IT ❤️‍🔥 let me walk you through my glute workout”

1️⃣ 3x10 bb hip thrust

2️⃣ 3x8 bb RDL

3️⃣ 3x8 front rack step up

In another video, she shared other ways to target your legs and glutes.

5. She Isn’t Afraid to Try New Workouts

Earlier this year, Simmons tried Pilates for the first time. In the video, simply titled “Pilates Princess,” she did a variety of moves and was taken aback by how much she worked her muscles. Are we on the easiest resistance,” she asked her instructor. “This just feels a little too advanced,” she joked. “My belly hurts so bad,” she laughed when doing the ab portion of the workout. When it came time to focus on the lower body, she asked, “Do you see my legs shaking.” She then said, “I don’t think I’ve ever worked my inner thighs like this.”

1. She Works Her Entire Body

Tookes shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she makes sure to work her entire body. "I switch it up. I'll do one day with legs and abs, lower body. The next day I will do an upper body day. And then one day I always dedicate to my butt. A whole butt day for like an hour. And then I'll take a break on one day. And then the next day I do a full body. Then I am off the rest of the days."

2. She Eats A Lot Of Protein

Glass,With,Protein,Shake,,Jug,Of,Milk,And,Powder,OnShutterstock

Tookes eats a lot of protein, especially when she’s working out."I definitely like to have something in my stomach before I go, otherwise I'll get nauseous and have no energy at all,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I'll have a protein shake or, I normally workout in the morning, so I'll have a breakfast sandwich or omelet. After a workout I love to have a lot of protein like grilled chicken, veggies, and rice. Or steak, if it's in the evening."

3. She Works Out With Others

Tookes likes to workout with her fellow Victoria’s Secret Angels. She tells Harper’s Bazaar that this helps motivate her. "Oh my god, it's so hard. I think the easiest way to motivate myself is to go with a friend. Josephine, for example, we workout together all the time. She texts me like, 'Hey want to go to Dogpound?" And you like, can't say no. You feel like, crap! If she's going I gotta go. You have to find a friend to motivate you."

4. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

Jasmine.Tookes.1Jasmine Tookes/Instagram

Tookes likes to mix-up her workouts. She tells Harper’s Bazaar that she goes to different fitness classes. "I like to try out different classes in different cities. For example in California I go to a place called The Studio MDR, which is a pilates class. Or I'll do Physique 57, which I know is all-over. That's one of my favorite barre classes.”

5. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Jasmine.Tookes.2Jasmine Tookes/Instagram

Tookes has amazing skin. She shared her routine in an interview with Grazia. “I’ve really learned that the routine and order in which I apply my products is such a game-changer in getting healthy, glowy skin. I’ve been incorporating Hourglass’s new Equilibrium skincare collection for over a month and I’ve really seen the difference. To start, I take a towel and soak it in hot water. I then just hold the towel on my face, warming up my skin before I start my routine. I wash my face with the Equilibrium Rebalancing Cream Cleanser. The texture is rich and creamy and I love that it leaves my skin feeling clean and plump, and not stripped. I follow that with the Equilibrium Restoring Essence, which is the perfect primer because it’s so soothing and conditioning. It’s particularly great if I’m on-the-go and need an extra boost of hydration. For my moisturizer, depending on how my skin is feeling that day I will either use Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream or Kora Organics Noni Face Oil.”

It’s important to be healthy and strong, mentally and physically. “GAINING WEIGHT IS NOT ALWAYS A BAD THING 👏🏼 I finally, after years of hard work to overcome my mental illnesses, feel my strongest again both mentally and physically. To have your support through it all has left me with so much gratitude for you, I’ll never be able to properly express it,” she said on Instagram.

2. She works her lower body

She prioritizes working on her lower body strength. “Utilizing progressive overload training adaptations with an emphasis on lower body, Legs Get It was developed to push you to the next level of glute growth. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. I don’t deprive myself,” she added to TODAY. Why should you consider amping up your protein intake? According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW) but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

She Cheats on Occasion

Jennifer allows herself to indulge in “everything I would possibly want on a weekend,” she told People. Her cheat meal “depends,” she says. “I mean, dare I sound repetitive, but Mexican food is a real favorite of mine. It's not even that much of a cheat, to be honest. Or a cheeseburger or pizza or pasta — all that stuff.”

She Tries to Get Enough Sleep

“My bigger challenge is sleep. I think that’s all part of our nutritional hygiene — the amount of water we get as well as the amount of sleep we get. It’s the combination of all of those things that make your workouts the most effective," she told TODAY.

“I’ve become gentler with myself,” she says of her approach to fitness, which has “definitely evolved” over the years. “I find that I can be gentler on my body and still get the benefits of a great workout,” she told Prevention. She specifically loves P.Volve workouts, a functional fitness that helps you “function throughout the day” and “work out your essential muscle groups to keep your body strong,” she says. “So you can live a long, healthy, strong life.”

She Hydrates

Aniston prioritizes hydration, drinking a whopping 100 ounces of water per day. "But occasionally I just have to have a Diet Coke—there's nothing like it!" According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
