Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.
1. Hydration
Tate partnered with Essentia water to promote hydration.. She captioned a recent post, “u alr know @essentiawater keeping me hydrated at photo shoots.” According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
2. Dancing
Tate burns tons of calories by dancing. “I love to dance. I’ve been dancing all my life,” Tate told Refinery 29. “I started dancing around the age of 6. It began as a hobby that I was definitely not seriously interested in. I loved performing, but hated when I actually had to do what I was told,” she added to Everly. “I only started getting serious when my mom took me to New York at age 8. I was extremely inspired and motivated! It gave me something to work toward and was the moment when I realized I wanted to dance for the rest of my life. From then on, I have been training nonstop and am always pushing myself to my greatest potential.” She also slips in dance-inspired workout classes when she can. “Sometimes i reminisce on my ballet days,” she captioned a recent Instagram post.
3. Battling Body Image Issues

Tate is open about her body image struggles and tries to use them to help others. “I used to go to ballet schools in Germany and they would take measurements of every single part of my body at age nine. At the time, I didn’t even realize how much that was messing with me mentally, but I was already thinking about my body image,” she told Fashion. “No one should be thinking about their body in that kind of way at a young age,” she continued. “Even though I’m starting to convince myself to love myself, there are a lot of things that dance has brought me that make navigating fashion so much harder. Because when you feel like you don’t know what you look like, it can be hard to take risks.”
4. Coffee
Tate enjoys the perks of coffee. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
5. Cooking
Cooking is a healthy outlet for Tate. “I don’t usually watch a lot of TV, but when I do, I’m obsessed with cooking shows. My favorite food [is] Brussels sprouts or dark chocolate,” she told Fashion. She added to Refinery 29 that she has one go-to comfort food: Toast.
