Cori Broadus is the daughter of legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg. She is currently on a health journey, and is documenting it on Instagram. In a recent post, Broadus showed off her weight loss. She captioned the post, "After my stroke, I really wanted to get serious about my health so I joined @goodbyelupus 4 week rapid recovery program and I'm 40lbs down on my self care journey and I'm really enjoying it." She's Taking Her Health Day By Day

Broadus talked about her wellness journey in an interview with People. She has lupus, and is committing herself to taking care of it. However, Broadus also knows that she can't expect "If I can do a whole 360 change and just get healthy all around, I think I would be so good," she said. "But I tell people all the time, it's a day-by-day process. Things are going to take time. Nothing is going to happen overnight."

She Takes Natural Supplements

For Broadus, wellness means being natural. "I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago," Broadus shared in her People interview. "I'm just doing everything natural, all types of herbs, sea moss, teas. I started working out, drinking lots of water. So now I think my body's like, OK, this is the new program and she's getting used to it."

She Doesn't Want To Rely On Medication

Broadus has had to take medication for her lupus and mental health. However, she tells People that she doesn't want to be dependent on it. "I've had medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs all my life. So I wanted better for myself. I wanted to change because it just became a lot. I'm only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. So I kind of just went cold Turkey."

She Loves Tea

Broadus loves to drink tea for her health. She shared her favorites in the caption of this Instagram post. "Hey Guys 🤎 so I've been reading about these teas from @thegoddescollection and you guys have been sending them to me for me to try and I finally got my hands on some!! She's Working Through Her Struggles

Broadus is open about her struggles with mental health. She opened up about working through it in the caption of this Instagram post. "The last few weeks my mental has not been so great at one point I tried to end my life but you & my family really give me a purpose to live & helped me realize Iife is much more than materialistic things & you gotta just keep pushing through the BS. THANK YOU."
