Pierson talked about the secrets for finding happiness in this YouTube video. She says that she made sure to stay committed to her goals. “One thing that I didn't realize is it felt like all the videos that I would watch, it would be such a big life change where overnight I'd have to start going to the gym, meditating, doing all these positive things just like that, and that's so not the case. What I wish I knew back then is the power of consistency and small steps. Also, the other thing too is I was always looking for that quick fix. I used to be a really big stoner, a really, really big stoner. A lot of people, when they're unhappy, obviously turn to some type of outlet like that so they can get their quick fix, but unfortunately, the reality of life is nothing great comes overnight.”

Pierson doesn’t skip leg day. She shared this video on Facebook of herself doing lower body exercises. In it, Pierson is seen doing things like donkey kicks with a resistance band, and side single leg circles. Piedmont reports that doing lower body workouts has a lot of benefits. “Having strong glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles gives your body a strong foundation and can: Tone your lower body muscles. Boost your metabolism as you increase muscle mass. Give you a higher calorie burn as you train larger muscle groups. Improve your balance. Strengthen your bones. Reduce joint pain.”

4. She Rides Horses

Pierson loves to ride horses to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her family going riding on the beach. The American Heart Association states that riding horses has a lot of benefits. “Riding a horse for 45 minutes at a walk, trot and canter can burn up to 200 calories,” said Dr. Dennis Sigler, a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service horse specialist and professor in the department of animal science at Texas A&M University in College Station. “If you do something a bit more strenuous such as cutting or reining, that can come out to nearly seven calories per minute for the entire length of the riding period.”

5. She’s Learnt Acceptance

Pierson also talked about the importance of acceptance in her YouTube video. “I guess with life you finally learn to accept, but that's always the first step is learning acceptance. It is what it is. And also kind of a prequel to that is not putting things on such a pedestal, and not thinking that it's the end all be all. So it's very good in life to again have desires and dreams, but not obsessively thinking about it and thinking about the future. In order to truly be happy in life, we have to be present in the moment. So if we're constantly thinking about that thing that is in the future, you're not being present. Jena Sims is getting her sweat on in her sleek, home gym. In a new social media post the model shows off her amazing figure in a two-piece Alo exercise set during a lower body workout with her trainer, Olivia Figueroa. “Never met a lower body day we didn’t like @jenamsims 🍑🍑🍑🍑 lean, toned, strong, intentional, sexy,” the personal trainer captioned the video clip. Strength Training

When it comes to building muscle, strength training is Sims go-to method. “I’m not a calm, soothing Pilates, yoga princess. I’m like, ‘Scream at me.’ I want to be dripping sweat,” she continued. “I want loud music, heavy weights. For my body type, I like to lift weights because I don’t need to do a lot of cardio. I find that lifting weights has been the most beneficial,” she told Fox. “I've been working on just upping my weights a little bit,” she added to Daily Mail. “I can get into this sweet spot and get kind of in a plateau of working out, so I upped my weights after seeing her video because I was so impressed by what she did with her fitness. I'm trying to lift heavier. Trying to build a [backside].”

Exercise Classes

Jena enjoys group fitness. “My favorite type of workout is F45,” she told FOX. “It’s just a 45-minute class. And I think I like it so much because they play amazing music and it’s so loud.”

No Diets

Jena doesn’t diet. Even if she has a big shoot or runway show ahead of her, “ all I'm doing is just eating as clean as I can, but I'm still splurging,” she told Daily Mail. “Like, I had four dinner rolls last night at this charity event as well as my meal.”

Barre Workouts

Jena also likes to “mix it up” when it comes to exercise. She loves Pure Barre classes, a fusion of yoga, Pilates, and ballet and a “full body, low impact workout” for everybody, according to the brand. “Barre helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture. It also increases cardiovascular endurance and metabolism, which helps to quickly burn calories. Regular barre workouts can increase your bone density, which can help prevent conditions like osteoporosis,” adds Barre studio Physique 57.

He's great and then I go over to Nattie and TJ's [Natalya & TJ Wilson], so they run me through some drills and stuff like that and I have matches. I'll get in the ring every now and then with some of my friends like Charlotte [Flair] and her husband, Manny [Andrade El Idolo).”

2. She Does Pilates

In her Bill Apter interview, Jax shared one of her go-to workouts. “I've kind of started being obsessed with Pilates." The Cleveland Clinic states that Pilates has a lot of benefits. “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. To film Fighting With My Family, Pugh told Culture Trip that she worked with a trainer to get in shape. “As soon as we got the roles, [director] Stephen [Merchant] mentioned he wanted us to do as much wrestling as we could. We would have stunt doubles, but he wanted to get us in the ring so we needed to get really strong. We were assigned CrossFit trainers, and it was a month of intense squatting and eating as many protein bars as possible. And wrestling 24/7. My trainer had a gym in Oxfordshire, which is where I was based at the time. I still train with my guy because I actually got ready with him for The Little Drummer Girl. It’s brought a lot of skills to the surface.”

4. She Wears What She Wants

Pugh doesn’t want to let people tell her what to do. And that extends to her clothing choices. "If I'm happy in it, then I'm gonna wear it," Pugh told Vogue. "Of course, I don't want to offend people, but I think my point is: How can my nipples offend you that much? Yes, I can put makeup on and look good for a premiere. But at the end of the day, I still have hair on the top of my lip and I still smell after a workout and I still get spots when I’m stressed."
