She Worked With An Expert
Sophie works with trainer James Farmer to keep herself in shape, and to help with her diet. James talked about the changes he made to her diet with SELF. “When I first met Sophie, she didn’t eat breakfast, which is a common mistake. And I didn’t think she was eating enough of the right foods. So I made sure she had a good source of protein and healthy fats with every meal, plus lots of fibrous vegetables like spinach and cauliflower.”
She Found Confidence In Her Body
Sophie revealed to British Vogue that becoming a mom helped her become more confident with her body. “I remember after I had my baby, my therapist asked me how I felt in my body,” she said. “And of course I was like, ‘Well, there’s milk leaking from my breasts and I’ve been bleeding for a month.’ Then she reminded me how amazing it is that our bodies can do this and how important it is to put all the nutrients in your body so that it can do that. I mean, it sounds so simple, but I never thought of my body in that way before.”
She Does Exposure Therapy
In her British Vogue interview, Sophie talked about about struggling with bulimia and how online comments could be a trigger for her. She says that exposure therapy has helped with her eating disorder. “I know when I’m in a bad headspace that the eating thing will always flare up,” she shared. “But now I regulate it by sitting in the discomfort and just getting used to that feeling of being full. It’s all exposure therapy. I think life is exposure therapy.”
She Washes Her Face
Sophie has incredible skin, leaving many wondering what she does to take care of it. She revealed her nighttime face wash routine to InStyle. “It is very simple,” Sophie said. “It’s just a bit of micellar water cleanser and some Weleda Skin Food, heavy duty all over my face, and that’s all it is. I’m a simple girl.”
She Manages Her Acne
Even though her skin looks flawless, Sophie revealed to Marie Claire that she does struggle with acne. She shared her favorite products to use to keep pimples under control. “I also love using this bubbly face mask that foams up on your face and dissolves—it’s so fun. I always put on these under-eye patches that help me look less tired, because I’m constantly tired.”
