Sports Illustrated Rookie Ally Mason In Bikini Enjoys “Summertime”

The 2025 Rookie shared some swimsuit shots from Saint-Tropez

Ally Mason is on her way to modeling fame. She’s one of the members of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2025 Rookie Class. Ally even got to walk the runway in their show in Miami Swim Week. If you take one look at her Instagram, you’ll quickly see how she got the gig. Ally just shared a set of photos of herself posing in Saint-Tropez. In them, she wore a white bikini, her figure on display. Ally captioned the post, “Sweet summertime.” Here are 5 things you need to know about this SI Swim Rookie.

1

She’s True To Herself

In addition to modeling, Ally has a background in STEM. She tells SI Swim that she had a hard time finding her place and being true to herself, but the magazine helped her do so. “ I remember looking through the pages [of the SI Swimsuit Issue] and just seeing the women [who] were all so strong and so uniquely, beautifully different,” she says. “But the one constant theme I found about them is that they all had faced their own barrier, whether it was physical, mental, societal [or] cultural. Everybody has their barriers, especially women. What I loved about the women in the magazine was that all these women are people that overcame those [barriers] and found their truest, most authentic selves and it shines through.”

2

She Wants To Inspire Others

In her SI Swim interview, Ally opened up about dealing with sexist remarks while working in a lab. She says that she wants to inspire other women to push back against stereotypes. “ I hope to show that smart is beautiful, smart is sexy, and don’t let anybody tell you different or make you feel like you need to fit into any sort of mold to be taken seriously. I feel like that’s such an issue that still happens today, even though, you know, it’s 2025, everybody’s working really hard to be more inclusive and accepting, but there’s these biases, there’s these stereotypes that are still so present. I hope to lead by example.”

She Takes Care Of Her Hair

Ally has amazing hair, and she makes sure to take care of it. Especially after going for a dip in the ocean. “I love to swim, and whenever I get out of the water, especially being a blonde, it can really dry out my hair,” Ally tells SI Swim. “So I always take along my two favorites, the leave in conditioner from Ouai and the K18 hair repair mask. Lifesavers for the beach.”

4

She Swims

As she said in the previous blurb, one way Ally keeps herself in shape is by going for a swim. According to The Cleveland Clinic, swimming has a lot of benefits, since it is considered a cardio workout. “Cardio activity is one of the keys to a healthy heart, and swimming’s cardiovascular benefits are clear. It’s been shown to: Improve cholesterol levels. Reduce blood pressure. Lower your risk of heart disease.”

5

She Walks

Another thing Ally does to keep herself in shape is go on walks. “I love a good nature walk,” she says to SI Swim. “Right now I’m in Miami, so every morning I’ve been doing a beach walk with a matcha. I love being in nature. Even living in New York City, it’s a little harder to get that breath of fresh air, but you can still find it, for sure. There’s so much greenery in the city. So if I’m in New York, it’s always a West Side Highway walk. If I’m in Miami, it’s always the beach.”
