Stacey Solomon in Workout Gear Had "Craziest Adventure Ever" In Scotland

Here are her fitness tips.

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon took a road trip with her family—and there was plenty of hiking in the Scottish Highlands. Solomon, 34, shared a picture of herself wearing black leggings, sneakers, and a black sweatshirt, posing with husband Joe Swash. "On the craziest adventure ever 🚐 5 kids, 1 me, 1 Joe Swash & a caravan 😂🙏🏼 I fell asleep somewhere in Essex & woke up looking for the Loch Ness monster 😂 Joe's never been happier 😂 Day one has been all about Inverness, and it is BEAUTIFUL 🥲 I don't know what I imagined traveling like this would be. Although it is hard with such little ones, it's magical. And I don't think I've ever felt so free. And off the grid. I feel Like we can go anywhere & do anything. It's special🥹I don't say this lightly… Joe was right 😂 Happy Sunday Everyone. Lots of love from all of us! 🖤" she captioned the post. Here's how the TV star takes care of her health.

Active Lifestyle

Solomon likes to stay active but doesn't spend hours at the gym. "I do have a gym pass, I got a family one because the boys swim there and use the facilities a lot," she told Marie Claire. "Most of the time I go and eat in the café – I don't know if that constitutes as a work out? I can wear my gym leggings there, eat in the caf' and let the boys go and play, then I come home and people say, 'Oh where have you been today?' 'I've been to the gym obvs, I was there all day love."

Beauty Mantra

Solomon has a simple approach to beauty and wellness. "Eat well and drink loads of water," she told Marie Claire. "It really does make a massive difference. Skincare is great and it does help, but fundamentally what you put in shows on the outside I guess. As depressing as that is – it would be great to have a magic cream – it's looking after my body."

Growing Vegetables

Solomon grows her own vegetables. "We started with tomatoes, and last year we added lettuce, carrots and onions to the veg patch," she told House Beautiful. "This year, I'm planning on building some raised beds so we can grow more. We love growing produce. Rex loves it. I am green-fingered, but I have to accept that at this point in my life, I can't be fully green-fingered. It's hard to dedicate as much time to it as I would like."

Self-Care Tips

Self-care is important to  Solomon. "I try and eat better, because generally if I'm feeling really low I'll eat really badly," she told Marie Claire. "So I have to make a conscious effort to drink loads of water, try and eat well, feel good. Most of the time I just speak to people, because I personally think the best thing for my own mental health is to have that conversation and say, 'Oh my god, I feel terrible, help me!' Learning that other people feel like that as well is really comforting. It gives you hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel."

She's a Homebody

Solomon loves nothing more than being at home with her family. "My front room and kitchen are both the heart of the home," she told House Beautiful. "They're a place where the family will gather. When I get home, I can't wait to head to the kitchen and start cooking to feed my family, or I can't wait to get on the sofa and snuggle up. But my bedroom is my sanctuary. I love going into my bedroom and getting into bed at night. I try to make it as inviting as possible. The downstairs toilet is my saving grace. If things get stressful, I'll go and sit there for a bit. No one comes in."
