The "Twisted Metal" and "Encanto" actress wore a sparkly mini-dress.

Stephanie Beatriz is best known for her roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, In The Heights, Encanto, and Twisted Metal. Earlier this month, she attended HFC’s Pride Night, and she made sure to look amazing. Stephanie shared some highlights from the day on Instagram. In them, she wore a sparkly dress that showed off her legs. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Stephanie makes sure to take care of her skin. She shared some of her favorite products in an interview with ELLE Canada. “I love Cosmedix Purity Clean because it also doubles as a mask. And I’m obsessed with Masque Vivant from Biologique Recherche. It has really helped my skin a lot.”

She Wants Others To Be Heard

In addition to acting, Stephanie wants to tell stories of people who are underrepresented. “I feel really compelled in my life to help tell stories, whether that’s as an actor or a producer or a director,” she says to ELLE Canada. “We’re realizing as a global community that we’re tired of [seeing] the same story over and over again, and that’s because the same kinds of people are telling that same story. There’s room for more voices, and I’m one of them.”

She Speaks Up

In an interview with Glamour, Stephanie shared the advice she gave to high school students at an event. “I had this one kid who talked about struggling in group situations and feeling like his voice was getting drowned out. I told him to remember, the rest of your life people will tell you your voice doesn’t matter, so keep making it heard—but you have to be a set of ears too. You never know who’s going to have the best idea in the room.”

She Compliments Herself

Stephanie opened up about recovering from an eating disorder in an essay written for InStyle, reported by UpWorthy. She says that she learned to compliment herself each day to build her confidence. “I’m telling myself that I am perfect and lovely just the way I am, even if I start crying as I say it. I’m going to keep moving in the direction of my most authentic self by reminding myself every day that I’m worthy.”

She Doesn’t Bite Her Nails

In an essay for Allure, Stephanie opened up about how she used to bite her nails, and how this was a part of her anxiety. She talked about stopping this habit as a way to manage her mental health. “It’s hard to stop, and sometimes it feels like the only thing standing between you keeping it all together and totally falling apart. If you can just bite off this little bit of cuticle…If you can just sort of even out this ragged edge of thumbnail…When you bite your nails, you have a point of focus, a place to direct your frenzied, anxious energy. It feels good, for a second, but the feeling doesn’t last. Guess what lasts about two to three weeks? A solid set of gel extensions and a good manicure done by a talented artist — that can stay fresh for a hot minute</em>.
