Sullivan's Crossing Star Morgan Kohan Shares Swimsuit Photo From the Beach

This is what she loves about the show.

Sullivan's Crossing star Morgan Kohan is showing her fans and social media followers that appearances are not always what they seem. Kohan shared a very glamorous photo of herself posing at the beach in a black bikini and sun hat, sipping on a drink in the sunshine. Unfortunately, she clearly didn't wear enough sunblock. "In a shocking turn of events… I burnt," she captioned the post. Here's what Kohan thinks about her show, and why so many people love it.

Kohan gained a love for acting in university. "I didn't really get into acting until I was in college," she says. "I went to New York and saw Broadway for the first time, in grade twelve, and immediately set my sights on a Musical Theatre College. I somehow shockingly got in with only my dance background. College was definitely where my love for acting started. Once I graduated, I slowly began to focus on film and TV and that really felt like home for me."

Producing Dreams

Kohan wants to expand beyond acting. "I can see myself producing more, if I was to expand," she says. "My boyfriend is interested in directing. I'm a problem solver, I really like organizing and getting things done. Just a thought. Probably want to do a short film then move into a movie. I didn't watch much film or TV growing up. In the summer we had TV allowance every day. We were encouraged to play, do homework, dance, etc. Anything, connecting to acting wise was dance based, which led me into acting."

Slow Burn

Kohan appreciates the slower pace of Sullivan's Crossing. "Sullivan's Crossing is a family drama that takes place in a small town with a super tight knit community, and because of that, you really learn to love each character and grow with them," she says. "Not to mention it has a beautiful, slow burning love story at its heart. It's the kind of show that I think everyone can see a part of themselves in and that's what I believe really made those classic narrative dramas on CW thrive the way they did.‍"

Hiking With Her Dog

Kohan loves hiking with her pup. "You don't have to go it alone next time you lace up your hiking boots. Grab a friend, neighbor, or family member for more fun on the trail," according to the National Park Service. "Hiking with a partner, or even in a group, can improve the strength and health of your relationships. Because hiking ranges in difficulty from an extremely challenging climb to a casual way of spending time outside, it's a great way to strengthen the friendships or bonds you have with your companions. Whether it's with a younger sibling, neighborhood friend, or even a grandparent, hiking a trail together can bring you closer and help build a healthy relationship."

Sisterly Love

Kohan's happy place is with her sister. "I don't think I've ever 'run away' in the same capacity that Maggie does but I have taken a breather, so to speak, when I had some big relationship shifts," she says. "And for that, I went to my younger sister where she took perfect care of me with fuzzy blankets, walks, wine, and trash tv."
