Nicole captioned the post, “Reflecting with deep gratitude as another year rises on the horizon. So grateful for every breath, for every sunrise and sunset. Thankyou God for another year. ☀️🩵” How does Nicole Scherzinger look so good at 47? Here are 5 of her secrets.
She Does Yoga
Nicole is a big fan of practicing yoga. In her Instagram video, she is seen meditating and doing poses. Yoga has a lot of health benefits. According to John Hopkins Medicine, it can help with balance, flexibility, and strength. “Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength.”
She Does A Variety Of Workouts
Nicole does a lot of different things to keep herself in shape. Her personal trainer, Paolo Mascitti, shared some of her favorites with Healthista. “Nicole, for example is always extremely dedicated in the gym and most of Nicole’s workouts are a combination of HIIT and strength training. But due to her background in dancing she needs both physical and mental stimulation in her workout routines. This means changing it up quite frequently so she remains motivated.”
She Runs
One thing Nicole likes to do to keep herself in shape is going on runs. “I run all the time, no one can keep up with me, and no one wants to run with me, so I just run on my own,” she tells Express. “I put glasses on and a hat and I run, and if people recognise me I just run off fast. Recently, I was running along Westminster in the summer, it is so beautiful, and I was just running along and people said they saw me!”
She Likes A Gentle Approach
When it comes to working with trainers and taking fitness classes, Nicole tends to go for people who have a gentle approach. “I’ve had a couple of different trainers where afterwards I just felt like I was dreading going to them,” she explains to Express. “As opposed to some trainers you go to and you don’t feel like you are killing yourself but you get results with your body. I don’t like it when they yell at you, or yell really loud.”
She Loves Spin Classes
One fitness class that Nicole does love going to are cycling classes. She talked about this in her interview with Express. “I’ve taken SoulCycle spinning classes with David Beckham in LA, because we have the same favourite teacher that we love there.” According to Penn State PRO Wellness, stationary bike workouts have a lot of benefits. “Riding a stationary exercise bike is an efficient and effective way to burn calories and body fat while strengthening your heart, lungs, and muscles.”
