1. Hydrate

Tate is such an advocate about hydration that she partnered with Essentia water. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
2. Dance
Tate’s main form of fitness is something she has been doing her whole life. “I love to dance. I’ve been dancing all my life,” Tate told Refinery 29. “I started dancing around the age of 6. It began as a hobby that I was definitely not seriously interested in. I loved performing, but hated when I actually had to do what I was told,” she added to Everly. “I only started getting serious when my mom took me to New York at age 8. I was extremely inspired and motivated! It gave me something to work toward and was the moment when I realized I wanted to dance for the rest of my life. From then on, I have been training nonstop and am always pushing myself to my greatest potential.” She also slips in dance-inspired workout classes when she can. “Sometimes i reminisce on my ballet days,” she captioned a recent Instagram post. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.
3. Take Care of Your Skin
In early 2024, Tate revealed that she recently started taking care of her skin. “I am very new to skin care. I’ve basically just been using water my whole life,” she told Vogue. She starts her routine with Augustinus Bader’s serum, followed by rose-pink eye patches—“so I don’t look dead,” she said. Then she uses a jade roller. “I just do this to bring circulation back into my skin.” Next up she slathers Augustinus Bader face cream on her face, explaining that her hometown of Calgary, Canada “is probably the driest place on earth,” and“You have to make sure you’re using a deep moisturizer.”
4. Coffee
Tate is an avid coffee drinker. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
5. Jet Skiing
In her latest post shared while on vacation, Tate goes jet skiing with her friends. According to Health Fitness Revolution, the average 150-pound rider will burn a surprising 238 calories during a half-hour ride. The sport is also great for cardiovascular endurance.
