Here are her diet and fitness habits

Taylor Swift is revealing her album cover, stunning in a jeweled bikini. On Wednesday, just days after revealing the title and drop date of her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, the singer shared the cover image. In it, she soaks in a bathtub full of water with a bejeweled swimsuit. “And, baby, that’s show business for you. New album The Life of a Showgirl. Out October 3 ❤️‍🔥Album Producers: Max Martin, Shellback and Taylor Swift 📸: Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott,” she captioned the Instagram post. How does the singer maintain her fit physique? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.

1

Running

Taylor runs. “For me, running is about blasting a whole bunch of new songs and running to the beat. It’s also good because it makes me find a gym wherever I am,” the singer explained to WebMD. “I’m very much out in the world, and I love exploring the places we go when we tour. It’s important for me to live a full life.”

2

Healthy Diet

Taylor maintains a healthy diet, most of the time. “During the week, I try to eat healthily, so that means salads, yoghurt, and sandwiches,” she told WebMD. “No sugary drinks. I try to keep it lighter, but it’s nothing too regimented or crazy. I don’t like to create too many rules where I don’t need them. We know what’s good for us, thanks to common sense.” On the weekend, she indulges. “I allow myself to eat what I know from common sense is bad for me,” she added to WebMD about weekend diet. “I like comfort foods. I love a burger and fries, I love ice cream so much, and I love baking cookies. Actually, I love baking anything.”

3

Coffee

Swift confessed to WebMD that she is a Starbucks girl. Her go-to drinks are “skinny vanilla lattes on weekdays” and “spiced pumpkin lattes on weekends.”

4

Hydration

Hydration is a key part of Swift’s approach to health. “I have so much water in my dressing room—because I drink, like, ten bottles of water a day,” she told Bon Appétit. “That’s pretty much all we have in there.” she said. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

5

Dancing

Not only does Taylor blast calories by dancing on the stage, she is also a fan of New York-based studio, Body By Simone. She takes classes utilizing the Aussie trainer’s dance-inspired method. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

6

Self-Love

Taylor has made self-love and explains that being healthy keeps her happy. “If you eat food, have energy, get stronger, you can do all these shows and not feel it,” she explained in her documentary. “Which is a really good revelation. Because I’m a lot happier with who I am and … I don’t care as much if somebody points out that I have gained weight. It’s just something that makes my life better.” She adds that when she was super thin, she wasn’t as content with herself. “That wasn’t how my body was supposed to be. I just didn’t really understand that. At the time, I really don’t think I knew it.”
