“So I like to start off my day really, really healthy and get my oats in. I love having oatmeal on set. If I'm not having oatmeal, I'm always having a cream cheese bagel. I love bagels so much, they're probably not that healthy for you, but I've been eating bagels since I was like six years old to top off breakfast,” she said. For lunch she loves bread. For dinner, she keeps it “simple” with “some rice, potatoes, an apple, and obviously I just mentioned bread.”

3. Water

Tesla also hydrates. “The only thing I drink throughout the entire day is water. It hydrates you, keeps your skin clear. It's just amazing. So drink lots of water. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

4. Running

“I love to get some exercise in. So what I like to do is just run around, set and try to get a mile or two in,” she said. “When I work out with my person, the trainer, he always makes me run a mile or do the elliptical for a mile just to kind of warm myself up. So I love to do that in between takes.” According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

5. Hot Yoga

“ I just love hot yoga so much. I just sweat out all my, like problems away,” Tesla revealed during another video titled My Workout Routine. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

6. Pilates

Tesla is also a fan of Pilates, which she does in her recent Instagram post. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Sofia Bevarly is a model and social media influencer. She shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. Bevarly recently shared on her story that she likes to do Pilates. She posted a mirror photo of herself in the studio, captioning it, “Hot pilates to start the day.” Bevarly is seen in black workout clothes in the photo.

She Does Pilates

Sofia Beverly takes a selfie ahead of a hot pilates class.

As you can see from her Instagram story, Bevarly does a lot of Pilates to keep herself in shape. Kennedy Fitness states that it has a lot of benefits. “Pilates places a premium focus on flexibility, and for good reason. Increasing your flexibility and mobility can be a key to unlocking your body’s fitness potential by giving the range of motion you need to excel at all other forms of physical performance and training, from running and swimming to intensive weight training.”

She Swims

Bevarly spends a lot of time outside. One outdoor activity she enjoys doing is going swimming. Bevarly shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself at the beach. She shared this set of photos of herself wading, captioning it, “Endless summer.” Bevarly also shared this video of herself in the water, and captioned it, “Mentally back on this island.” She also shared this video of herself enjoying a pool day.

She Does Squats

Bevarly shared this video on Instagram of herself doing different lower body workouts. One thing she is seen doing in it is squats. Bevarly captioned the post, “Leg days are my favorite.” The Cleveland Clinic states that squats have a lot of health benefits. “Squats target and strengthen your thighs, hips and butt. Why does that matter? A strong lower body is important for athletes, yes, but not just for athletes. Your lower body fuels your ability to walk, run, jump … everything, really. It also generates power for upper-body movements and all kinds of other activities.”

She Does Glute Bridges

Sofia Beverly is seen doing glute bridges.

Sofia Beverly/Instagram

Bevarly is also seen doing glute bridges in the previous Instagram video. NASM states that doing these can lead to many benefits. “After hours of sitting at your desk, sitting behind the wheel, and sitting on the couch, the glutes can become underactive. Over time, our bodies adapt to long hours of sitting, resulting in unwanted back pain and tightness, along with some faulty movement patterns. One way to help reverse this issue (in addition to breaking up sitting time) is to incorporate glute bridging into your workout routine. The glute bridge is most often used as an exercise to activate the glutes and build core stability.”

She Strength Trains

Bevarly likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. In the previous Instagram video, she is seen using a dumbbell and weighted machine. ACE Fitness states that strength training can be very beneficial. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”

Love what you look like right now – and remember I said it 10 years from now because it’s the greatest gift I can give.’”
