Teri Hatcher is turning 59 in her swimsuit. The former Desperate Housewives star shows off her fit figure in a leopard print bathing suit in one of her latest social media posts, celebrating the final year of her fifties. “Goodbye 58 Hello 59. What an amazing day I’ve spent in nature with loved ones…cold ocean, warm hearts, moving, talking , laughing. With age comes the deepest sense of acceptance and freedom, appreciation and gratitude and the energy and ambition to do all that you can in and for this world and the people in it. Grateful for each day and the opportunities it brings. My heart is full. Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes,” she captioned the no-filter Instagram photo. How does the actress look half her age? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.
1. F45 Workouts
Hatcher is a fan of F45 workouts, which combines cardio with resistance training. “Exercise has become a source of well being not a means to look good naked,” she captioned a 2019 Instagram post. “My two cents to everyone? Find a community, stick to healthy food, get in a work out, and find your joy! Baby steps, day by day, put in the work and you will see results,” she captioned another post, promoting the hardcore workout.
2. Self-Love

When Teri turned 55 she posted a photo of herself in a bikini, to share her “truth,” she said. “Here’s the thing. I’ve finally figured out how to be comfortable in my own skin. Maybe not every day but a lot of them,” she continued. “Sharing myself in a bikini (which I may or may not ever wear again) Is me Being open to others, open to life… finding glorious connection and community,” she penned in the note. “No filters, no makeup, no airbrushing, no negativity. Be strong enough to be vulnerable.”
3. Running
In 2018, Hatcher ran the New York City Marathon with her daughter, Emerson Tenney. “Something about the ups and downs of training for such a physical feat as a marathon — that sort of vulnerability, the adversity that you have to get through and pushing through walls together — and having that experience as a team; it’s just a bonding thing that you can’t really replace or have from any other experience. And I think we both wanted that together,” she told People.
4. Anti-Inflammatory Diet

During an interview on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna Teri revealed that she had gone on the anti-inflammatory diet, which she did “not to lose weight,” she said. “The anti-inflammatory diet, I think, is empowering—cutting out alcohol, or at least not making it your go-to reward at the end of every day, and finding something different,” she continued. “It makes you not as depressed, not as lethargic, not as achy, all those things.”
5. Hydration
Hatcher aims to drink nearly three liters of water daily. "I did it on the advice of a nutritionist and a week after I had so many of my friends ask, 'What are you doing to your skin? It looks amazing.' I couldn't think of anything different other than the water," she told Prevention.
