Teyana Taylor is sweating through her workout. In a new social media post the actress shows off her insane body – including her impressive six-pack – during a rigorous workout. “Loading…” she captioned the post. Her celebrity pals went wild over it. “Inspired,” commented Gabrielle Union, while Jamie Chung added a “💪🏽” emoji and Busta Rhymes with “👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑” emojis. How does Taylor, mother-of-two, maintain her enviable figure? Celebwell has the details on her workout and all of her other health habits.
1. Dancing
“Dance is the greatest workout. Dance is very underrated in the fitness world. Dance is my workout,” Teyana told TMZ. “The only real workout I do is dancing and performing,” she added to Us. “I was touring right up until after I was six months pregnant and I was in really good shape, so after she came I just went right back down, almost immediately. That’s the way I do it — I love to dance.”
2. Twinkies and No Vegetables

As for her diet, Teyana doesn’t restrict herself. “I eat everything by the way. I eat Twinkies and all types of s—t,” she exclaimed to TMZ. “I don’t even eat vegetables!” she added to Us.
3. She Has Her Own Workout Method
Teyana created her own exercise method. “On my own, I have a dance fitness program called fade2fit.com, so that’s the only workout I do,” she says of the online video workouts. “You can watch it and take it home, it’s all good.”
4. Meditation

Taylor relies on the power of zen. "I'm heavy on meditating," she told Shape. "I've done it throughout my pregnancies and postbirth. It gets me prepared for the day ahead. Even meditating once or twice a week makes a difference. My 5-year-old daughter says, 'Hey, mom, are we meditating today?'"
5. Self-Care
Teyana’s nightly showers are her go-to self-care routine. "I bring all my self-care beauty products into the shower knowing that it's the tiny bit of alone time that I'll get," Taylor told Shape. "I wash my hair and skin, apply a homemade body scrub, and even brush my teeth while listening to soothing music, like Erykah Badu or Sade. I take my time because I know that as soon as I step out, it's back to mommy time."
6. Stationary Lunges
In the video Taylor does a stationary, single leg lunge – but weighted in almost every way. She holds two dumbbells, wears ankle weights, and uses a band around her thighs, providing resistance and working out her entire lower body, arms, and even midsection. “This is an excellent exercise for glute (booty growth) especially if you are trying to focus less on quads and more on glutes,” says Kendra Gamble, HIT Fitness Training, Huntingdon Valley, PA, NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant. “I would recommend doing them off of a step or some type of elevated surface to give your glute more of a stretch.”
