Sarah Hyland is an extremely successful actress. She’s best known for her role as Haley Dunphy on the ABC sitcom, Modern Family. She also played the lead role in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Geek Charming, and recently appeared on the Broadway show The Great Gatsby. In addition to acting, Sarah also hosted Love Island, and is the creative director of the supplement company Sourse. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 7 ways Sarah Hyland stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
She Takes Baths

Sarah shared some of her wellness secrets with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that to unwind, she likes to take baths. “I just really love bath salts; Epsom salt baths are just so amazing. And depending on what my mood is, I’ll add corresponding essential oils to my baths. If I want to relax and feel peace and calm, I’ll add lavender oil. If I’m looking to feel energized, maybe I’ll add some orange or peppermint essential oil. And after every shower, before I dry off, I put coconut oil all over my body to lock in moisture.”
She Takes Supplements
Sarah’s company Sourse is a supplement line. She shared one of her favorite supplements with Harper’s Bazaar. “We actually have a new product from Sourse called Energy Bites. It’s made with matcha green tea, and it gives your body energy without the side effects or jitters from drinking coffee or an energy drink. And the bites also keep your attention and memory on track because of the green tea caffeine, which is naturally sourced—get it? But those are really great for when you’re on Zoom meetings all day long and you feel your eyes start to disassociate.”
She Does Pilates
Sarah tells Harper’s Bazaar that she likes to do Pilates. “I just got back from being in Berlin for almost three months, and I just took my second Forma Pilates class—it kicked my arse. I’m trying to get back in shape to really just feel strong at the end of the day; I haven’t been able to work out in such a long time. I’m back on the bandwagon of Pilates and strength training.”
She Lifts Weights

Sarah tells Harper’s Bazaar that she likes to lift weights to stay in shape. “I think it’s really important for women specifically to diversify their workout routines and not be scared of lifting weights. I always feel really empowered when I’m leg-pressing 150 pounds and all the men at the gym are looking over like, ‘What the fuck?!'”
She Does What She Enjoys
For Sarah, self-care means doing what she likes. “I think self-care is really about listening to your body: when you need to rest, when you need to push yourself,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “It’s all about how you feel and what is going to make you feel good—for me, that’s eating chocolate. And I also think self-care is feeling strong and empowered within yourself, and at the end of the day, just giving gratitude for what your body does for you.”
She Uses A Face Roller

Sarah has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared some of her favorite products in an interview with Bustle. “I always use my Nurse Jamie face roller,” Hyland said. “It feels like it’s giving your face a massage, but it also helps your moisturizer or serum penetrate your skin even more than it already does on its own.”
She Loves Coffee & Green Juice
Sarah talked about her diet in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she loves coffee and green juice for breakfast. “I’m not a really big breakfast person. I know that’s bad, but I have my coffee, I have my green juice, and I have my Sourse vitamins in the morning. They’re chocolate, so that’s food.”
