The Bachelorette's Charity Lawson Shares Swimsuit Photo With "Sunny Side Up"
Charity Lawson is steaming up the screen of The Bachelorette this season – and the internet as well. In one of her latest social media posts, the star of the hit reality show reminds the men who have been cast off the show what they are missing, showing off her amazing body in a bathing suit. "Sunny side up," she captioned the set of Instagram snaps, wearing a skimpy swimsuit. How does the 27-year-old stay healthy and happy? Here are a few of her top health hacks.
Hack 1: Start the Day with Coffee
Charity gets her mornings started with a jolt of caffeine. During a "weekend in the Windy City," she held tightly onto a cup of coffee. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
Hack 2: Prioritize Your Mental Health
Charity, who dubs herself a "growing therapist" in her LinkedIn profile, prioritizes mental health. "I carry a strong passion for helping others and am a strong advocate for promoting self-care and wellness," her profile reads. "My goal is, wherever I may go, I want to leave an impact on someone's life by ensuring and fulfilling positive change for humanity, while also connecting and promoting a diverse environment that creates long-lasting interpersonal relationships." She has an entire tab on her Instagram Stories devoted to mental health.
Hack 3: Challenge Yourself
Charity is always up to conquer personal challenges. "I was challenged and pushed to a level of vulnerability that I didn't know was possible for myself. Through the highs and lows, I grew as a person through it all and was able to discover depths of myself, and that is the true victory," she said about her time on The Bachelor.
Hack 4: Put Family First
Charity stays grounded in life with the help of her family. "My queen, teacher, and nurturer!" she wrote about her mom on Mother's Day. "You lead up with such wisdom, class, and grace. We celebrate you today. I love you. Happy Mother's Day." She also calls her dad her "hero."
Hack 5: Educate Yourself
Charity prioritizes education over fame. "The past 6 years at Auburn, has been an experience of a lifetime, one that I don't take for granted," she wrote in a post. "I've been challenged, pushed and molded into the woman I am today. Looking back on my journey, I've met the most incredible people, professors, created the BEST memories, but most importantly, unconsciously, I walked right into my calling."
