Hannah Godwin is a fan-favorite from The Bachelor franchise. She first appeared on the show in 2019, before appearing on the spinoff Bachelor In Paradise. There, she met her current husband, Dylan Barbour. Hannah has become a successful influencer, model, and developed the app Setty. Recently, she shared a video of herself getting ready to go to Dallas. In it, she wore an adorable brown two-piece outfit, curled her hair, and did a dance that the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are famous for. Hannah captioned the post, “I didn’t practice this DCC dance 300 times last year for nothin'” Here are 5 of Hannah Godwin’s wellness secrets.
She Walks
Hannah broke down her daily routine in an interview with Us Weekly. In it, she revealed that she does a lot of walking each day to keep herself in shape. “I always try and get at least 15,000 steps a day,” she said. Lately, I’ve been walking on the treadmill while taking meetings — I love how clear my mind feels.”
She Loves Avocado
Hannah makes sure to eat a healthy diet. She shared some of her favorite foods in this video on her YouTube channel. For a mid-day snack, Hannah makes a slice of avocado toast with sliced tomatoes, pepper, and tabasco. Avocados are some of the healthiest foods out there. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Avocados include vitamins C, E, K1, B6 and folate, plus essential minerals like potassium and copper. They’re low in sugar, loaded with fiber and high in monosaturated fats.”
She Loves Bananas
Hannah also loves eating bananas in her diet. For her mid-day snack in her YouTube video, she made a slice of almond butter toast with sliced bananas and honey. According to research done by Harvard Medical School, bananas have a lot of health benefits. “Among all fruits, bananas are one of best sources of potassium, with about 450 milligrams (mg) per banana. Healthy adults not on certain medications should aim for 4,700 mg of potassium daily, although few Americans meet this goal. A high potassium intake may help reduce high blood pressure and has also been linked to a lower risk of stroke and possibly heart disease.”
She Does Planks
Hannah shared some of her favorite ab workouts in this YouTube video. In it, she is seen holding a plank for 30 seconds, and a side plank for 15 seconds on each side. Hannah wrote in the video’s caption, “This is one that I’ve literally memorized and actually see a difference in once I do it a few times. I am no instructor, these are just ones that I enjoy doing. Make sure to do whichever exercises you are comfortable with and be safe while doing them! Do whatever YOUR body can do. I love that I can do all of these from the convenience of my home or wherever if I am traveling!”
She Does Lunges
Hannah is also seen doing a set of 30 step-back lunges in the previous YouTube video. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges are very beneficial. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”
