The Bold and the Beautiful's Jacqueline MacInnes Wood in Workout Gear Shows Off "Goalz and Gainzzz"
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is giving her followers a glimpse into her health routine and a look at her amazing body. In a new social media post The Bold and the Beautiful star flaunts her amazing figure wearing skintight workout clothes. "Goalz and gainzzz," she captioned the Instagram Reel. How does the 36-year-old manage to look flawless after having four children? Here is everything you need to know about her diet and exercise routine.
She Worked Out During Her Pregnancies
The Canadian star explained to Soaps.com her secret to popping out kids and slipping back into her swimsuit fast. "No. 1, I was working out through my pregnancy, even if it was only little things," she says. "It was tough the last few months just because we were moving, but hey, moving is still working out.
She Focused On Her Back
Jacqueline put a lot of focus on working out her back. "That was so crucial for me, just because the more you pop, the more you can have sciatic problems and lower back problems," she explains. "So even before Rise or Lenix, when I knew, 'OK, I want to get pregnant,' I wanted to work out my back because that's your core. Luckily," she continues, "thankfully, I didn't have many back issues."
Other Health Habits
In her latest Instagram video, the actress reveals some other habits. In the video she makes a fresh juice, does pull ups, boxes, and then takes a cold plunge. There is limited research supporting the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increased focus, improved sleep, and decreased inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes basic post-sport recovery.
She Eats Nutrient Dense Foods
Wood also eats healthy and claims "just having really nutrient-dense foods and being mindful," helps her stay fit. "I always preach that I'm an 80/20 girl who sticks to her diet most of the time. But I definitely enjoy myself. I love a cookie, and I love a cocktail, and I love to have fun. But I don't overdo it," she adds, "because I'm not sleeping, I'm up with the kids and doing a billion things at once. So stress levels could be up. And that means your cortisol levels are up. And that means there's a greater chance that you're going to get sick."
Hot Baths
It is clear by her social media feed that Jacqueline takes a lot of baths. "My self care… when I get a minute…#MomLife," she captioned a post. Baths have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.
