Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is giving her followers a glimpse into her health routine and a look at her amazing body. In a new social media post The Bold and the Beautiful star flaunts her amazing figure wearing skintight workout clothes. “Goalz and gainzzz,” she captioned the Instagram Reel. How does the 36-year-old manage to look flawless after having four children? Here is everything you need to know about her diet and exercise routine.

1. She Worked Out During Her Pregnancies

The Canadian star explained to Soaps.com her secret to popping out kids and slipping back into her swimsuit fast. “No. 1, I was working out through my pregnancy, even if it was only little things,” she says. “It was tough the last few months just because we were moving, but hey, moving is still working out.

2. She Focused On Her Back

Jacqueline put a lot of focus on working out her back. “That was so crucial for me, just because the more you pop, the more you can have sciatic problems and lower back problems,” she explains. “So even before Rise or Lenix, when I knew, ‘OK, I want to get pregnant,’ I wanted to work out my back because that’s your core. Luckily,” she continues, “thankfully, I didn’t have many back issues.”

5. Other Health Habits

In her latest Instagram video, the actress reveals some other habits. In the video she makes a fresh juice, does pull ups, boxes, and then takes a cold plunge. There is limited research supporting the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increased focus, improved sleep, and decreased inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes basic post-sport recovery.

3. She Eats Nutrient Dense Foods

Wood also eats healthy and claims “just having really nutrient-dense foods and being mindful,” helps her stay fit. “I always preach that I’m an 80/20 girl who sticks to her diet most of the time. But I definitely enjoy myself. I love a cookie, and I love a cocktail, and I love to have fun. But I don’t overdo it,” she adds, “because I’m not sleeping, I’m up with the kids and doing a billion things at once. So stress levels could be up. And that means your cortisol levels are up. And that means there’s a greater chance that you’re going to get sick.”

4. Hot Baths

It is clear by her social media feed that Jacqueline takes a lot of baths. “My self care… when I get a minute…#MomLife,” she captioned a post. Baths have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

Grace Beverley is exercising – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer flaunts her amazing figure in a two-piece workout set in a mirror selfie. “Spot the girl obsessed with her own business,” she captioned the Instagram Stories image. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Breakfast

Grace starts the day with a big breakfast. “I’m not a huge breakfast person in the week, but at the weekends my go-to has been the same for over a decade now: creamy mushrooms on toast,” she told Women’s Health. “My fiancé uses the Oatly cream to make it for us every weekend and it’s definitely one of the reasons I’m marrying him! It’s just the ultimate weekend “breakfast and it feels like such a treat without spiking my blood sugar too much.”

Coffee

Grace is a coffee drinker. “My go-to coffee order is an iced oat latte. Although I’m trying to cut down and now have a strict ‘no coffee after 12pm’ rule that I make the team hold me accountable to when I don’t have the willpower,” she said.

Greens Powder

“I used to take a whole load of supplements but I got fed up with spending so much each month and taking so many pills. That’s why I turned to the Shreddy team with the idea of developing a greens powder that did the job of all my supplements in one. I remember in that first meeting we thought it might not be possible, but a year (and 30 samples) later one glass of Shreddy Supergreens contains 100% NRV of my daily vitamins, pre & pro-biotics and all the vitamins and minerals I was already taking for hair and skin growth. As someone who’s all about efficiency, it’s my dream multi-tasking supplement. I drink it in the afternoon instead of my coffee and it really helps me avoid that mid-afternoon crash I always used to get,” Grace told Women’s Health.

Sleep

Grace prioritizes her sleep. “I wear an Oura ring to track my sleep, so I know how far to push myself on a particular day as my schedule is usually pretty back-to-back. It usually knows when I’m getting run down before I do,” she told Women’s Health. “I try my absolute best to get 8 hours of sleep a night, after years of trying to push it, I now know that 8 hours is what I need to be good at my job and maintain my schedule across a week. When heading to bed, I make sure to read at least 10 pages of a fiction book. I find it really helps me to separate my brain from work mode and improves the quality of my sleep as a whole.”

HIIT Workouts

Grace Beverly takes a reflective selfie.HIIT WorkoutsGrace Beverly/Instagram

Grace sticks to short but effective workouts.”When I moved to London, I struggled to fit everything in and barely worked out at all. It sounds like a scammy email, but the ‘simple trick’ that changed my life was switching to just 10 or 20-minute workouts – it’s great for my mental health and fitness, but short enough that I never get bored,” she told Women’s Health. “That’s what inspired me to create the Shreddy 102 and Shreddy 202 HIIT guides. I now do one of those workouts four days a week, as well as two weight- lifting sessions – I’m lucky enough to have a home gym.”

Jessica Alba is showing fans just what it takes to get her strong, toned physique—and it looks pretty intense. Alba shared a video of herself wearing leggings and a white shirt, doing cardio exercises and weights with her long-time personal trainer Ramona Braganza at the gym. She also did some mat work wearing black leggings and a sports bra. “@ramonabraganza woke up and chose violence 💪🏽🫠,” she captioned the post. “And this is why we don’t workout together 😂,” commented friend Lizzy Mathis. Here’s how Alba is in the best shape of her life at 42.

1. Cardio and Weights

Alba.1Jessica Alba/Instagram

Alba’s Instagram video shows her doing cardio on a treadmill, and weight training with dumbbells and resistance bands. Cardio and weight training complement each other in many ways, experts say. “Cardio training improves endurance, oxygen utilization efficiency, and cardiac and respiratory function,” sports medicine doctor Dr. Christopher McMullen tells UW Medicine. “Strength training increases muscle size and strength, enhances coordination, and is utilized for preventing and rehabilitating from injury.”

2. Gym Time and Hiking

Alba.2Jessica Alba/Instagram

Alba mixes up her workouts so she doesn’t get bored. “To keep the workouts interesting for Jess, I mix up the strength training exercises in a variety of ways,” Braganza told Harper’s Bazaar. “Sometimes it’s reps and others it’s timings. We always have music on. Sometimes when the gym is absolutely not what Jessica wants, we will go outside and walk the hills near her home.”

3. Confidence In Herself

Alba.3Jessica Alba/Instagram

Alba no longer sees beauty as something solely for the male gaze. “Before becoming a mom, my femininity was defined by society’s standards of what it means to be desirable to men,” she told The Cut. “Now I understand what feeling powerful from a woman’s point of view means. It has nothing to do with whether someone desires you, it’s more about how connected you feel to yourself. You end up attracting people when you’re confident and you feel good in your skin. And that’s a by-product of being connected to your feminine energy.”

4. Theragun Recovery

Young,Woman,Doing,Massage,With,Percussion,Massager,At,HomeShutterstock

Alba uses a massage gun to help recover from her strenuous workouts. “The most important thing to Jessica for recovery after workouts is to stretch and using her Theragun,” Braganza told Harper’s Bazaar. “Sore muscles will prevent good workouts the next day and she has learned how to take care of that through self-massage.”

5. Realistic Beauty Standards

Alba is glad beauty standards are changing. “Millennial ideas of beauty are so unattainable in a way, and that comes from generations of us being brainwashed and feeling like we’ll only be successful if we look perfect or desirable,” she told The Cut. “Both of my daughters have a different outlook on what’s beautiful. To them, it’s almost off-putting if you try to look too good. It’s more natural if you have a shiny nose or dark circles under your eyes, which they view as more real and cool.”

Shaughna Phillips In Workout Gear Jokes About Being “Fitfluencer”

Love Island star Shaughna Phillips is slowly but surely getting back into her fitness routine after welcoming baby Lucia in April 2023—and being honest about postpartum recovery. Phillips, 29, shared a video of herself wearing leggings and a white shirt, mixing up a protein shake in her kitchen after a workout of skipping and star jumps. “Changing my bio to ‘fitfluencer’, having 7 protein shakes a day and getting GYM BRO tatted on my bicep,” she jokingly captioned the post. Here’s how the reality star stays fit and full of energy.

1. Love Island Training

Shaughna.Phillips:InstagramShaughna Phillips/Instagram

Phillips went on a very strict health and fitness regimen before going on Love Island, working out for 90 minutes a day. “I would do 20 to 25 minutes on the treadmill very fast at a high incline,” she told Women’s Health. “I would do a few sets on the lat pulldown machine... and then I used to do a quick circuit on the mats. I used to use like free weights and stuff and that would literally be it every single day.”

2. Holistic Health

Phillips works out to protect her mental health as well as her physical health and appearance. “As I've gotten older, I've realized that separating being healthy from your body image, and how you ‘think you should look’, is the true gamechanger,” she told Bustle. “I feel like a lot of us just subconsciously go to the gym because we think we need to look a certain way. But there are so many other benefits; looks should be the lowest thing on your list of reasons to go to the gym… Don't get me wrong, the health benefits and all of that are absolutely amazing. But for me personally, it is all about the effect physical activity has on mental health.”

3. Morning Workouts

Phillips works out first thing in the morning before the work day starts. “I can tell you what I hate doing and that’s squats,” she told Bustle. “But I really like the feeling of lifting weights and boxing. It almost doesn't feel like you're working out because you're learning something new. I read somewhere that music also gives you the same sort of endorphins as exercise does. I can't think of anything worse than working out and having rubbish music. Or worse: no music at all. I need to listen to angry music, like DMX. Or if I'm going on holiday, then I’ll listen to happy vibe music.”

4. Plans For the Future

Phillips wants to move in a different direction in the future. “I definitely want to maybe get into some kind of politics after the show,” she told Glamour. “I just like helping people and I want to do as much as I can to help people. For me, it’s not really about how much a job pays you, because it’s about helping people. I know that’s cliché and embarrassing, but the job I was in before in the fire safety team, the job previous to that was more money, so... I got a better feeling out of the fire safety team. For me, it’s all about helping people."

5. Embracing Her Physique

Phillips wishes she hadn’t been so hard on herself in the past. “I was aware that I was definitely the biggest girl in there [the villa] but watching old episodes back now, I'm like ‘you looked fab!’” she told Women’s Health. “But that is just proof that you're never happy with what you've got, so you might as well just be happy with what you've got. I was self-conscious but I had no reason to be.”

Shaughna Phillips is sharing a body positive message – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island star shows off her gorgeous figure while opening up to her fans. “I’ve been meaning to post this for aaaagesssss, and I just kept chickening out which sounds ridiculous but it’s the truth,” she wrote. “This is not easy for me, it’s hard to just be yourself when social media can be SO cruel at times. Full disclosure, I’m not in the place I want to be physically, I have ‘baby weight’ to lose plus a bit more lol, but I’m not going to let my intrusive thoughts about how I look get in the way of me living my life,” she continued. “I really want to be the best role model I can be for Lucia, and I’m so determined that she won’t grow up with the same warped view on body image as I did, and that’s starts with me. I know it’s a bit late for New Year’s resolutions, but I’m sure we all have room for one more 🙋🏼‍♀️ Here’s to getting real in 2024, who wants to join me?” How does the reality star approach health and wellness? Celebwell has the details on her lifestyle habits.

1. She Took Drastic Measures to Slim Down for Love Island

Shaughna went to drastic measures to lose weight for the show, sharing about it in a 17-minute video on her YouTube channel. She wouldn’t allow herself to eat treats over the 2019 Christmas period and asked her colleague to "shame" her every time she tried to. “I think for me and the series that I was in, we had it the hardest... because the casting process was over Christmas,” she said. “Everyone and anyone indulges, but because we knew we were potentially going into the villa, I for one did not have one Quality Street that whole Christmas season... Now, that was a bad Christmas.”

2. She Worked Out 90 Minutes Every Night

A,Phone,With,A,White,1,Hour,And,30,MinutesShutterstock

She went to the gym for 90 minutes every evening and her routine was “very, very strict,” she said. “I would do 20 to 25 minutes on the treadmill very fast at a high incline. I would do a few sets on the lat pulldown machine... and then I used to do a quick circuit on the mats. I used to use like free weights and stuff and that would literally be it every single day.”

3. Working Out Makes Her Feel Better

What motivates her to stay in shape? “Honestly? I become an anxious mess if I don't work out. It sounds cliche, and everyone always says, ‘Oh when you work out you feel better,’ but it’s actually true,” she told Bustle.

4. She Launched a Nutrition Plan

Shaughna.Phillips.2Shaughna Phillips/Instagram

Shaughna launched her own fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle plan, Be You With Shaughna. “No before and after shots. No guaranteed ‘drop a dress size’ promises. No get fit quick plan,” she writes. “What my plan does include? Dedicated work to improve your mental health. Workouts that go at your pace. Nutritional advice aimed at encouraging your relationship with food, and not how to restrict your food.”

5. She’s an “Early Bird”

Shaughna.Phillips.1Shaughna Phillips/Instagram

“I've always been an early bird. Ever since I was little, I've just always been up literally before the sun,” Shaughna told Bustle. “I don't like being rushed in the morning, so although I could probably easily get another hour in bed, I would rather just get up and start waking up gradually. These days, my normal morning routine starts at 6 a.m. I get up, make my breakfast, and have a cup of coffee, or tea, depending on my mood. I watch a little bit of TV before I head to workout at 8:30 a.m. I like to get it done and dusted because that way it means nothing like social media can impact my workout.”

6. She Takes Baths

“I'm definitely a bath girl. To the point where I miss having them in the summer because the last thing you want is to increase your body temperature,” Shaughna told Bustle. “When I used to go to the gym after work, in the days before Love Island, I remember the moments when I would see a text from my mum saying, ‘Your bath is running’ and it would literally feel like I’d won the lottery. Thinking about my bath is one thing I used to do to get me through the gym. Feeling that post-workout ache and being in the bath. There is nothing better! I've got to have a lot of bubbles, not bath salts – I can just feel the grains and it makes me feel like the water is dirty. Lots of candles. I like to have my hair up, out of my face, because I get very hot and bothered.”

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
