Kristine Froseth is at home in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post the Buccaneers star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while enjoying a day on the lake. “There's no place like home,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the model-turned-actress approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

1. Pilates

Women,Doing,Pilates,Exercises,Lying,On,Pilates,Workout,Machines,WhileShutterstock

To prepare for her role in Birds of Paradise, Kristine did a lot of physical prep. “For three months beforehand, they set an intense schedule from morning to night where we would do Pilates, the Gyrotonic method, and some stretch classes. We would observe dance classes and take private beginners’ classes—which aren’t really for beginners, in my opinion!—at these different studios in the city, so I just tried to literally pack as much in as I could. I was really out of touch with my body and so out of alignment and had no idea what these different muscle groups were or what any of this was about, and I had no dance experience prior, so it was really intense, but I’ve learned so much about myself and my body. Overall, it was great,” she told Vogue.

2. Prioritizing Mental Health

Kristine advocates that people prioritize their mental health. “If anyone’s struggling with loss or depression, it’s so important to rely on one another and talk about it and ask for support. Amongst us females, I feel like we can support each other within the larger competition because there’s space for everyone. Within my own industry, I have a lot of good friends who go up for the same roles I do, but we know it’s apples and oranges, right? We can compete, but it doesn’t have to be sabotage,” she told Vogue.

3. Channeling Her Experiences

Growing up Kristine was bullied for struggling to adapt to the language shifts and confluence of cultures, splitting her time between Oslo and New Jersey. She used her experience to play a mean girl in Netflix’s Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. “I’m grateful now because I feel like it definitely helped me get out of my comfort zone,” she says, referring to the trials and tribulations of her high school days. “But while it was happening, it wasn’t that fun,” she told Elle.

4. Running

One way Froseth treats anxiety is running. She even did the New York City Marathon. “It’s always been a dream of mine to do a marathon and then an Iron Woman,” she told Elle. “I want to push myself in different ways and see how far I can take it.”

5. She Hikes

Kristine considers hiking a form of self-care. She regularly gets out of her house and explores outdoors. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

6. She Walks

Kristine spends as much time in nature as she can. You can often find her walking. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

I find that I’m more limber after a session with her.”

4. Laverne Cox

Laverne Cox says that her fitness regime is more about having fun and being comfortable, rather than losing weight. "I'm not overachieving in fitness at the moment," Cox tells InStyle. "I'm doing it, it's not as high-level, but I like where I'm at with it now. It's fun, it's medicinal, and I'm not being hard on myself. You would just do 12-15 reps.”

6. Rebel Wilson

One of the ways she does so is giving herself breaks, and lightening her schedule. “I’m trying to have much more of a balance,” she says to Bustle. “I used to be go-go-go 24/7, and so I’ve come to that realization that you can’t just do movies and stuff back to back all the time and work 20 hours a day. It’s not a healthy thing.”

7. Olivia Culpo

The former Miss Universe and fashion icon Olivia Culpo is known for her incredible figure, and she works hard to keep herself in shape. Culpo says that she tries to stay active everyday, no matter how busy she gets. "I try to stay active as much as I can by doing low-impact, high-intensity workouts so that I'm consistent and I don't wake up one day and realize it's been two weeks and I haven't worked out."

Nicole Fortuin is currently starring as Ririka on the live-action adaptation of One Piece and on the show Legacy. She has previously appeared in Flatland and A Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits. Fortuin just shared a new set of photos on Instagram. In one of them, she is seen in a swimsuit and snorkel mask. Fortuin captioned the post, “@carel_nel seems to think I say this all the time 🙄 and I know that I don't 🤣... this cast!! ... hearts and souls of gold. Everyone. je l'aime vraiment ici.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Nicole Fortuin stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Speaks Out

Fortuin tells Sarafina Magazine that she wants to use her platform to speak out about important causes. “I realized this small platform that I have does have the potential to reach people. I don’t associate myself with things that are not important to me on some level. I can only talk about things that are important to me. I recently did two PSA’s. One was for Brother’s For Life #RapeStopsWithMe. Everyone is aware of the violence that is happening across the world but in South Africa as well. I had always been really fascinated by what happens in people’s minds and in men’s minds especially because often I am really confused by how people operate and what makes it ok for them. I guess the throughline is my interest in other people but their campaign is about men and men making correct choices and being responsible.”

2. She’s Grounded

For Fortuin, staying grounded is important when it comes to being in the public eye. “I do feel like if I’m not grounded, I can’t be truthful in the work that I do,” she told Sarafina Magazine. “I know that for a fact because I’ve seen it. I’ve seen really great artists become really mediocre and boring and you realize [that] the line between real life and the work you do is thin. My commitment to being honest or emotive or touching someone else is so related to who I am and what I am doing on a spiritual level, on a financial level, whatever it is.”

3. She Swims

Fortuin likes to swim to stay in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself in the water. Fortuin shared this set of photos of herself swimming in a pool. The Cleveland Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Like other forms of cardio, swimming can help you burn calories and lose weight. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a 154-pound person who swims slow freestyle laps for 30 minutes burns 255 calories. But that amount varies depending on your weight, speed and stroke.”

4. She Took A Social Media Break

Person,Using,A,Social,Media,Marketing,Concept,On,Mobile,PhoneShutterstock

Fortuin revealed to Iol.com that she decided to take a break from social media due to it overwhelming her. “Just this week I decided to take a break from social media. Precisely because there is so much information coming at you all at once. The last thing I remember seeing is the possible discovery of another planet? One that may have similar properties to Earth and is now being looked at as an alternative planet for human beings to inhabit? I am not sure if any of it is true (it's the internet after all) so please fact-check it before you tell anyone else about it.”

5. She Has Snorkled

Snorkeling offers a plethora of health benefits. Firstly, it's an excellent cardiovascular workout that enhances lung capacity and overall fitness. The rhythmic breathing while swimming boosts endurance and reduces the risk of heart disease. Additionally, snorkeling promotes relaxation and reduces stress by immersing you in the tranquil underwater world, which can improve mental well-being. It also enhances muscle strength and tone, particularly in the legs, as you kick to explore the underwater landscape. Moreover, the buoyancy of water reduces joint impact, making snorkeling an ideal low-impact exercise for those with joint issues. Overall, snorkeling combines fitness, mental relaxation, and enjoyment of nature, making it a fantastic activity for promoting physical and mental health.

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She captioned the post, “This is for the girlies in my DMs asking about this eye every time I do it. Sorry the lighting is awful. I also don’t know why the audio isn’t in sync for half of it 🫣 but here ya go 💗”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin shares a Zucchini Almond Butter Blondies recipe

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Krisitn Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”

She Uses CellSound

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach. "I mean, to be honest, I haven't worn a crop top in years, and I literally feel comfortable going out in a crop top, which is so bizarre," she says. "Not that I feel like everyone should do that, but I can go work out with a crop top on and not feel like I have my mommy stomach and I shouldn't sit down. So it's definitely empowered me in that aspect."
