Jenny West is a fitness icon. Not only is she a star of shows like Survival Of The Fittest and The Challenge, she’s also a professional trainer. Jenny recently announced a new program for clients on Instagram. In the post, she wore a two-piece set of workout gear, showing off her amazing abs. Jenny captioned the post, “I’ve designed this program that will enable YOU to finally break free from the real issues that are stopping you from sticking to the plan! It’s not that you’re lazy/greedy/not motivated enough.. She Focuses On The Right Things When It Comes To Fitness

In this Instagram post, Jenny revealed that mindset is one of the secrets behind her weight loss. “When I was younger my only focus was to lose body fat.. I didn’t care how I did it or how unhealthy my mindset got..I was desperate… and desperate people do stupid things. I was someone who would eat 600 cals a day…Funny thing is.. I never really reached my goal.. or i would lose weight and then gain it all back again 🤦🏻‍♀️ As soon as I shifted my focus to getting stronger and fitter a funny thing happened…I started to get leaner.. my abs started to come through!”

She Has A Sustainable Diet

When it comes to her diet, Jenny believes in eating foods she likes, as she thinks it’s more sustainable. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “If you don’t enjoy it, you WILL quit 🫣What ever diet you’re doing now…ask yourself? Is it sustainable? Does it allow your favourite foods? Does it allow you to socialise? Are you generally feeling satisfied? If YES then it sounds like you have the balance right! 🥳”

She Eats Enough Protein

One thing Jenny makes sure to incorporate into her diet is protein. She revealed in this Instagram post’s caption that she brings protein sources with her when she travels. “I aim for around 200g protein a day and managed to hit this easily despite the fact I was out of the house for most of my meals. I pre packed protein drinks and chose high protein lean options when eating out.”

She’s Consistent

Jenny shared some of her fitness tips in the caption of this Instagram post. “Move your body as much as you can.. essentially the less you are on your arse the more calories you’re going to be burning. If you can hit 10k steps a day that will equate to 1lb fat loss each week.. but cardio is more affective if you’re busy as you can burn the same calories in less time.”

She Tracks Her Progress

In the caption of the previous Instagram post, Jenny revealed that she tracks her diet and exercise. “Track your progress.. you need to track your workouts, food and daily habits to make sure you’re progressing and consistently hitting them. Don’t bury your head in the sand!”
