In a new social media post The Gentlemen star flaunts her fit figure in workout gear as she tries to offer a little motivation to her followers. “Whatever is good for your soul …Do that ❣️That’s all for this Sunday,” she captioned the Instagram post. How does the British actress approach diet, fitness, and self care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.


1. Hiking

Chanel is an avid hiker. She regularly shares photos from her excursions. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

2. Baths

Chanel loves unwinding in the tub. “Bucks&bubbles ☕️🛁 #vegas #lasvegas I stayed in there way too long !” she captioned a post. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

3. Walking

Chanel also enjoys taking walks. Here she is on “a local walk - in the north.” Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

4. Coffee

Chanel is a coffee drinker. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

5. Golf

Chanel is a golfer. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
