Stella Maeve is posing with her pooch in her workout gear. In a new social media post the actress shows off her amazing body in an exercise tank posing for a series of Instagram selfies. “So cute,” commented one of her followers. How does The Magicians star approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. She Likes Organic Foods

Stella tries to incorporate natural and organic things into her life “as much as possible but I find it hard to find the right products and what’s best,” she tells Naturally Savvy. “Honestly your health is your most important asset and eating organic is one of the best things a person can do for themselves. Organic isn't much more expensive and they are so worth it!”

2. Balance

Zen,,Meditation,,Harmony.,Beautiful,Lotus,Flower,And,Stack,Of,StonesShutterstock

Stella tries to maintain balance in every area of her life. “I feel incorporating balance into your life comes with age. Each year it gets easier and easier as you ease your way into a routine. Be confident with who you are and try not to take life so seriously. Be calm and find peace within yourself,” she says.

3. Reading

Stell is an avid reader and regularly shares pages from her books on social media. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

4. Seeking Inspiration From Family

Stella is inspired by her family. “My Mother for being one of the strongest people I know, because as hard as her life was, she never gave up. My Grandma who never let a man win, and ALWAYS stood her ground. My step-dad for always seeing the good in people,” she told Naturally Savvy.

5. Using Social Media to Help People

Stella has changed her outlook on social media. “You know, I was never in to social media and have never been a big fan of it. I don’t know how much I believe in it, however it’s today’s world so you have to buck up and do it,” she told Pop Culture Principle. However, she now realizes it is a great way to reach her fan base and even help people. “It’s such a great feeling and such a wonderful thing as an actor to feel that you have helped and that is because of social media. People can reach out to you and people feel like you are there. Even if they don’t know you, they feel like you are approachable and people like that and like to be interactive.”

Pia Mia is doing her hair in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the singer shows off her newly lightened locks – and her washboard abs – wearing a crop top as she tousles her locks in the mirror. “So beautiful,” a fan commented. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

lidetitle num="1"]No Diets

Tia avoids diets and indulges her cravings. “'I don't diet. I do what I want and I do what makes me happy. I exercise, but if I want to buy an entire bag of Cheetos, I'm going to, and if I want a green juice, I'll do that too,” she told Daily Mail Australia. “I don't like restrictions, it's not the way to live.”

2. Strength Training

Pia’s main form of fitness is strength training workouts. In workout videos shared by the Dog Pound gym where she works out she does exercises like squats, leg lifts, battle ropes, and box jumps. Strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently, according to Mayo Clinic. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

3. Baths

White,Tub,And,Beautiful,Plants,In,Bathroom,,Interior,DesignShutterstock

Pia takes down time and loves soaking in a hot tub. Things that make me feel good (apart from makeup) are just relaxing, taking a bath, writing in my journal and just getting my thoughts out. It helps me to just kind of settle down and see what my goals are and what I'm going through, and that makes me (feel) more secure in a way,” she told Daily Mail.

4. Krav Maga

Pia told Glamour that Krav Maga, “an Israeli self defense and street fighting system,” is one of her favorite workouts. “I became so obsessed, they invited me to become an instructor when I was 16 years old and so I did and am very proud of that. I also take a lot of bag classes, in those classes you work on the heavy bag, cardio, and weight training. The best part of my workout is that I get to keep fit and train to protect myself on the streets at the same time,” she said.

5. Pilates

Pia also maintains that Pilates is a “really good” fitness method. “Working out, I think it’s important to make it fun - not just like ‘ugh I gotta go to the gym’,” Pia added to BeautyCrew. Why should you consider pilates? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

1. She Trains Like It Is Her Job

Karwai Tang/WireImage

To get into Pamela Anderson shape for Pam and Tommy, Lily trained like it was her job. "I worked with this amazing trainer, Matt Bevan, who worked with Daisy Ridley as well. He worked me so hard and I got really fit,” she tells Entertainment Weekly. She did a mixture of running and boxing. "He would make me do all my work and reading my script on a running machine," she says "And I did boxing with a really cool guy in LA, which I loved too, being physically strong like I could literally beat someone up,” she continued. "I felt really athletic, which I hadn’t done for a long time and there was great confidence that came from that... I feel less self-conscious on a beach now. It was really wonderful to feel like that, to feel so in my own body."

2. She Lifts Weights

28th Annual Critics Choice Awards - ArrivalsSteve Granitz/FilmMagic

To get into shape for Fast Girls in 2012, in which she played athlete Lisa Temple, she also trained hard, using a lot of weights. "It was very intense – we had about six weeks of training before the film even started,” she tells Cosmopolitan UK. "We trained five times a week; running, circuits, weights, working out in the gym, and on the track. It was an insane time." She added: "When I first had to lift weights, do squats and run for ten minutes I was knackered and wanted to be sick."

3. She Works Out in the Morning

Lily prefers morning workouts. J“I have found that starting my day with exercise is the key. When I work out regularly, I immediately feel the benefits. It’s exciting to be empowered by that, and it turns into a domino effect. Naturally, I start eating better and stop drinking so much wine. Then I feel more energised in the morning to work out again,” she tells Shape.

4. She Does a Lot of Ab Work

If you want flat abs like Lily, you are going to have to crunch for them. "I got really obsessed with sit-ups! Whenever the Director shouted 'cut!' I was there on the floor pounding them out", she tells Cosmo about Fast Girls. "We had to do like 600 different types of sit-ups a day so my stomach changed the most, you just end up looking healthier and stronger."

5. She Follows Strict Diets

Roasted,Rabbit,Legs,Garnished,With,Potato,And,BroccoliShutterstock

Lily also follows strict diets when prepping for roles. "On top of the fitness and the health, we also had a diet plan we had to follow which involved eating between five and six meals a day that were really high in protein, so that meant lots of protein shakes, fish, chicken and no cheating," she tells Cosmo about Fast Girls.

6. She Rides Bikes

Lily loves riding bikes. “I also just started cycling again,” James te;;s Shape. I cycled everywhere when I moved to London, until my bike got stolen. Then I started taking Ubers. Recently, I got my bike back, and that’s been such a gift. It’s my bit of freedom to ride without having any direction stuck in my mind. It helps me stop overthinking and just connect myself to the present.”

7. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

“In lockdown, I had to make exercising fun; otherwise I would lose interest,” James told Shape. I switched up my normal yoga and Pilates for daily dance classes. Early on, I learned this fun dance routine and couldn’t stop doing it. The next day, my neighbour called saying, ‘Oh my God, Lily, you played that song for three and a half hours,’” Lily tells Shape. “Finding that fun is the main thing for me now. I know I have to stay fit, and I know working out is good for me. But when it actually makes me feel better, rather than just something I’m forcing myself to do, it’s such a difference.”

Grace Beverley is exercising – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer flaunts her amazing figure in a two-piece workout set in a mirror selfie. “Spot the girl obsessed with her own business,” she captioned the Instagram Stories image. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Breakfast

Grace starts the day with a big breakfast. “I’m not a huge breakfast person in the week, but at the weekends my go-to has been the same for over a decade now: creamy mushrooms on toast,” she told Women’s Health. “My fiancé uses the Oatly cream to make it for us every weekend and it’s definitely one of the reasons I’m marrying him! It’s just the ultimate weekend “breakfast and it feels like such a treat without spiking my blood sugar too much.”

Coffee

Grace is a coffee drinker. “My go-to coffee order is an iced oat latte. Although I’m trying to cut down and now have a strict ‘no coffee after 12pm’ rule that I make the team hold me accountable to when I don’t have the willpower,” she said.

Greens Powder

“I used to take a whole load of supplements but I got fed up with spending so much each month and taking so many pills. That’s why I turned to the Shreddy team with the idea of developing a greens powder that did the job of all my supplements in one. I remember in that first meeting we thought it might not be possible, but a year (and 30 samples) later one glass of Shreddy Supergreens contains 100% NRV of my daily vitamins, pre & pro-biotics and all the vitamins and minerals I was already taking for hair and skin growth. As someone who’s all about efficiency, it’s my dream multi-tasking supplement. I drink it in the afternoon instead of my coffee and it really helps me avoid that mid-afternoon crash I always used to get,” Grace told Women’s Health.

Sleep

Grace prioritizes her sleep. “I wear an Oura ring to track my sleep, so I know how far to push myself on a particular day as my schedule is usually pretty back-to-back. It usually knows when I’m getting run down before I do,” she told Women’s Health. “I try my absolute best to get 8 hours of sleep a night, after years of trying to push it, I now know that 8 hours is what I need to be good at my job and maintain my schedule across a week. When heading to bed, I make sure to read at least 10 pages of a fiction book. I find it really helps me to separate my brain from work mode and improves the quality of my sleep as a whole.”

HIIT Workouts

Grace Beverly takes a reflective selfie.HIIT WorkoutsGrace Beverly/Instagram

Grace sticks to short but effective workouts.”When I moved to London, I struggled to fit everything in and barely worked out at all. It sounds like a scammy email, but the ‘simple trick’ that changed my life was switching to just 10 or 20-minute workouts – it’s great for my mental health and fitness, but short enough that I never get bored,” she told Women’s Health. “That’s what inspired me to create the Shreddy 102 and Shreddy 202 HIIT guides. I now do one of those workouts four days a week, as well as two weight- lifting sessions – I’m lucky enough to have a home gym.”

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
