Here are her lifestyle tips.

The Witcher star Therica Wilson-Read thoroughly enjoyed time off from her filming responsibilities by hitting the beach and getting some sun. Wilson-Read, who plays Sabrina Glevissig on the show, shared pictures of her vacation, including a shot of herself posing in a bronze bikini in front of a beautiful ocean. “You’re stunning I can’t,” commented her co-star Safiyya I Ingar. Here’s what Wilson-Read loves to do in her down time, and how she feels about her role on The Witcher.

1. Spin Classes

Cycling,Class,In,Fitness,Club,,Group,Of,Fit,People,SpinningShutterstock

Wilson-Read stays active by walking around London and taking group exercise classes. “I am a homebody at heart, but London is wonderful for exploring, so I try and spend my time going to exhibitions and trying new restaurants!” she says. “One of my favorite museums is the V and A. I am also a great lover of desserts, so whether it be Bread Aheads doughnuts in London Bridge or Zafferanos Tiramisu, I try and search them out. I am also hooked on group workout classes, so you will frequently find me being worked into a sweat by India Bailey in a spin class on a Tuesday afternoon.”

2. Empathy From Acting

London,,United,Kingdom,-,June,28,,2023:,Therica,Wilson-read,AttendsShutterstock

Wilson-Read loves the way acting encourages empathy and compassion. “I didn’t grow up thinking that I would be an actress,” she says. “In fact, there was a time that I was interested in going into law or psychology; however, I always came back to acting! I constantly think that putting yourself in someone else’s shoes makes you more empathetic toward other people. One of the most beautiful things about acting is you have to immerse yourself in the character to understand and sympathize with why they make certain decisions. This is not without dilemmas, as the decisions made may not be consistent with my own social or emotional beliefs.”

3. Meditation and Kitty Cuddles

Wilson-Read meditates and limits screen time for her mental health. “Life sometimes feels like that saying, ‘When it rains, it pours’. I will have periods of quiet and then suddenly everything is happening at once,” she says. “I try to meditate most days, even if it’s for 10 minutes, and limit how much I spend looking at a screen… I have an apartment that feels so peaceful. It’s slightly miscellaneous and full of (probably dying) plants. It feels like this zen little island in the middle of busy London. The only thing that isn’t so peaceful is that I have a rather large fluffy rescue cat who manages to molt no matter how much I brush him, so I spend a lot of my day picking up hairballs off the floor.”

4. Confidence From Sabrina

Wilson-Read has developed a strong sense of self through playing Sabrina. “Sabrina brought out a confidence in me that I really didn’t know I had,” she says. “Yes, she has her insecurities and moments of vulnerability but, for the most part, she’s incredibly sure of herself which feels empowering to play. However, she can also be cutting and mean at points which, although is fun to play with, never feels so good in my body. When she’s fun, she’s very fun. When she’s mean, she’s very mean. When she loves, she loves so deep she risks her life for that person.”

5. Respect For Fans

Wilson-Read respects The Witcher fans and tries to stay true to the source material for her character. “It’s important to me to keep as close to the character that the fans know and love from the books and the games but also show her development into that character,” she says. “I try to go back to the source material before every season starts and revisit Andrzej Sapkowski’s Sabrina Glevissig and see if there are traits of her that I can highlight more in each season.”

Game of Thrones star Gemma Whelan is having fun at the beach, much to the envy of her friends and social media followers. Whelan, who played Yara Greyjoy on the HBO megahit, shared a very cute picture of herself doing an impressive handstand on the beach, wearing a blue and lilac bathing suit. “Seaside upside,” she captioned the post. “Handstand envy Gem 🙃 Could never master the art 🤷‍♀️😍,” a fan commented. Here’s how she feels about her time on GoT, and taking on high-intensity roles.

1. No Crazy Stunts

London,,Uk.,February,10,,2019:,Gemma,Whelan,Arriving,For,TheShutterstock

Whelan considers herself to be a fit, active person, but draws the line at doing her own stunts. “I think I used to be quite gung ho about it like ‘Of course, I’ll try anything’ whereas now I’m very much appreciative of the help from the stunt doubles,” she says. “I’m fit, I love running, I think there are a few I definitely could but it’s not my job. There are people properly trained to do all the extreme stuff, I think I’ll leave it to them… As I said, it’s a necessity and they’re expertly trained. I’m not a method actor by any stretch, I leave work at work. There have been some roles that are quite consuming and then a lot to get over but I’ve never really been at the point where I couldn’t shake them off. I’d think I’d be concerned if that was the case.”

2. Costume Dramas

Whelan enjoys the immersion she gets from period and costume dramas. “For period dramas, the costumes and the words do a lot of the heavy lifting,” she says. “When the writing is so good but also so much different than the modern way of speaking, and then these costumes that are perfectly engineered to fit you in this setting, the character feels more natural than anything. I’ve loved them all for different reasons, they’re all a part of me but I do always miss going to Game of Thrones because the rhythm of my year became such as going to Belfast and meeting up with the—we were like a family, so meeting up with them over there. And Gentleman Jack as well, I was really sorry that didn’t go ahead for a third season.”

3. Working Mother

Los,Angeles,,Ca.,July,12,,2017:,Actress,Gemma,Whelan,AtShutterstock

Whelan was thankful to return to Game of Thrones with the support of the team when she had a baby. “I thought I’d be on the shelf for a little while after having the baby, which is fine, but I was very lucky,” she says. “It was similar with Game of Thrones, actually. I went back with my daughter and she was six weeks old and they allowed for breastfeeding… That should just be a normal thing – you have a child and you have to feed it but you’re working as well.”

4. Swimming In the Sea

Whelan loves swimming in the sea, especially in beautiful Cornwall, UK. “Happiest most beautiful relaxing time with friends in this stunning little place. Thank you so much @portwrinkleholidays for the most extraordinary home for the weekend and the freshest air and the warmest hot tub and the coolest sea swim - we will be back. Highly recommend for a complete escape and switch off,” she captioned an Instagram post.

5. Friends Forever

Whelan is still friends with her Game of Thrones costars—research shows close, ongoing friendships are incredibly beneficial for health. “Alfie [Allen] and Emelia [Clarke] are dear pals and I see Iain Glenn around here because he lives not far from where I live,” she says. “It was a long time. We knew each other for a span of about 10 years and it was a family… I just loved every single moment… it was very, very special.”

The Witcher star Anna Shaffer is showing off the results of her collaboration with French clothing brand Sezane on her social media. Shaffer, who plays Triss Merigold on The Witcher, shared pictures of herself wearing a white bikini with green shirt on top, playing in the surf on a beautiful beach. The actress kept her look simple and stunning with minimal makeup and a natural glow. “Summer in Sezane,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Shaffer enjoys her down time.

1. Movie Fan

One of the Final Scenes from Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful LifeHerbert Dorfman/Corbis via Getty Images

Shaffer can’t get enough of watching other people act. “I go to the cinema as much as possible, often at the old Renoir in Bloomsbury, now a Curzon, which is close to another of my favorite restaurants, Ciao Bella,” she says. “They can accommodate huge tables, and it feels quite cheap and cheerful. Jimmy and I are attempting to work our way through the whole pasta menu by the end of the year. Back in town, the Prince Charles is also a great cinema – last time I saw Midnight Cowboy – and I love going to the BFI for a seasonal showing of It’s a Wonderful Life.”

2. Vintage Fashion

Shaffer is a big fan of 1960s fashion. “I love Mad Men,” she says. “If I could dress like Joan every day I absolutely would! I think the French dress fabulously too, they keep silhouettes sleek and simple and use accessories as a way of standing out. In terms of people, I take huge inspiration from Jessica Alba and Diane Kruger. They are always flawless and look effortless. Their style is timeless but they always have a modern twist which I think is really interesting. And it helps that they’re stunning too!”

3. She’s a Londoner

Shaffer is a born and bred Londoner, and loves her home. “London is a real renaissance city, a place where you can constantly reinvent yourself and find different things to do,” she says. “It’s also a place where no one is ever free: if you make a plan, it’s in three months’ time, so it becomes a celebration when you eventually meet up. And when you do it’s always fun and exaggerated – we’re not going to a café, we’re going out and having Martinis.”

4. Confidence With Age

London,,United,Kingdom,-,June,28,,2023:,Anna,Shaffer,AttendsShutterstock

Shaffer has learned to embrace her own style and be confident with herself as she gets older. “I think I have quite a simple but classic style,” she says. “Lately I've been experimenting with more patterns and prints, especially as we move into summer. It’s so important to have fun with fashion too, I think the older I get the less I care about what other people think and I’m much more willing to give new things a try… even if they end up a bit of a disaster!”

5. Planning Ahead

Shaffer is someone who always plans ahead and is organized, especially when it comes to big events. “There is nothing worse than feeling rushed before an event as you will make rash decisions about your makeup that you will totally regret later,” she says. “And looking flustered and clammy on the red carpet because you had to get ready in 5 minutes is never a good look! I think a strong lip is always fabulous. Red literally goes with ANYTHING and can transform an outfit. Also less is more. If you’re having a heavy Eye go easy on the lips and vice versa… oh and check your teeth for lipstick!!! That’s definitely something I’ve learnt!”

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”

It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

Jennifer Aniston arrives to the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. And then just old school: I can chase myself around a gym. I need some kind of movement, even if it's just 10 minutes a day on a trampoline.”
