Tinashe is at the top of her game. Last year, her song “Nasty” went viral, and she’s been touring the world. Last month, Tinashe went to Coachella with friends, and shared some highlights on Instagram. In them, she wore a tank top and camo pants, showing off her midriff, and a black tank and shorts that showed off her figure. Tinashe captioned the post, “I guess we’re not the same anymore.” How does Tinashe get her amazing figure? Here are 5 of her tips.
She Loves Pilates
Tinashe shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with The Cut. “I usually work out in the morning,” she said. “I’m never hungry right when I wake up. Usually I’ll do Pilates or something in a class for maybe an hour. It’s a nice ‘wakeup’ workout.”
She Prioritizes Happiness
In her interview with The Cut, Tinashe revealed what her definition of “wellness” is. She says that her main priority is being happy with herself. “Before I used to look at wellness in a black-and-white light. I thought it was only about nutrition and exercise, but it’s so much more than that. To be a ‘well’ person you need to be in a good state of mind and do the things that genuinely make you happy and your body happy and healthy.”
She Drinks Water
One of Tinashe’s biggest diet and wellness secrets is staying hydrated. And when she means hydrated, she means water. “Drink a lot of water and make that your main beverage,” Tinashe said to The Cut. “It’s such a big and easy step to cut out a lot of bad stuff, whether it’s caffeine, soda, or sugar. It’s such an easy shortcut that anyone can do.”
She Uses Avocado & Coconut Oil
Tinashe shared some of her favorite products in an interview with New York Magazine. One of her skincare secrets is using things like avocado and coconut oil. “I like to stay hydrated and moisturized to keep my skin looking young. I don’t think lotion is enough, so I’m a big fan of using body oil and then lotion. It doubles the impact and keeps my skin hydrated longer. I’ve tested a lot of different body oils and found that avocado oil and coconut oil are my two favorites because of their consistencies.”
She Uses A Hyaluronic Serum
Tinashe loves using a hyaluronic serum from Dr. Barbara Sturm. “I originally got this as a gift to try out four or five years ago,” she told New York Magazine. “I’ve been a huge fan and have been buying it ever since. It’s silky, mixes really well with my moisturizer, and adds a lot of hydration. I use it every day right out of the shower. It’s my favorite serum.”
