Dancer and singer, Tinashe, takes a moment to reflect and be grateful while traveling through Costa Rica. “Giving thanks 🤍,” she said on Instagram on a slideshow of photos filled with paddleboarding, pools, waterfalls, ziplining, wildlife, and more. Here’s how Tinashe stays looking and feeling her best.
She Dances
Tinashe is an amazing dancer, and doing so keeps her looking and feeling fit. “Lost files. 10 days to QUANTUM BABY,” she said on Instagram. Her Instagram is full of her incredible dancing skills, like this one, performing on TV. “Performing NASTY for the first time on TV last night was a moment 🙏🏽🔥 Thank you @jimmykimmellive !!”
She Works Out in The Morning
She enjoys starting her day on the right note, with a workout. “I usually work out in the morning. I’m never hungry right when I wake up. Usually I’ll do Pilates or something in a class for maybe an hour. It’s a nice “wakeup” workout. Then I come home and that’s when I really get ready for the day,” she said to The Cut.
She Eats Breakfast
ShutterstockAfter her morning workout like practicing Pilates, that’s when she starts her day with a little something to eat. “I eat a late breakfast at like 11. I like an old-fashioned breakfast, like bacon and eggs, so I’ll make that into a sandwich. It gives me a lot of energy,” she said to The Cut. According to Better Health, “many studies have shown the health benefits of eating breakfast. It improves your energy levels and ability to concentrate in the short term, and can help with better weight management, reduced risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease in the long term.”
It's A State of Mind
She looks at wellness as an overall state of mind. “Before I used to look at wellness in a black-and-white light. I thought it was only about nutrition and exercise, but it’s so much more than that. To be a “well” person you need to be in a good state of mind and do the things that genuinely make you happy and your body happy and healthy,” she said to The Cut.
She Heals
As much as she focuses her physical health, she prioritizes mental healing, taking time for herself to unwind in nature. “Healing,” she said on Instagram on a slideshow of photos and videos of the woods, creek, and soothing landscapes in the Pacific Northwest.
