TOWIE’s Danielle Armstrong In Bikini Says “Unn Grr”

Danielle Armstrong is best known for her time on the hit reality series, The Only Way Is Essex, or TOWIE. She’s also got a huge following on Instagram. Danielle shares a lot of her favorite outfits on her page. Recently, she modeled a bikini and wrap with pink flowers and a sun hat, her amazing abs on display. She captioned the post, “Unn grr.” How exactly did Danielle Armstrong get ready for bikini season? Here are 5 of her secrets.

She Didn’t Pressure Herself To Lose Weight

Danielle talked about her fitness journey in an interview with The Mirror. She admits that after having her first child, she put a lot of pressure on herself to lose the baby weight, and decided to take it easier when she had her second child. “Second time around, I wanted to be kinder to myself, and not on Instagram looking at other new mums. It’s been a nice journey this time. As soon as I stopped having expectations, I could just enjoy the process and life as a mum of two.”

She Believes In Moderation

When it comes to her diet, Danielle wants to have a plan that is sustainable for her. She tells The Mirror that moderation works best for her. “My mum always said, ‘Eat little and often, and in moderation’. It was about understanding I could have carbs, sugar and everything else, in moderation. I always used to skip breakfast but then I’d pick at things. It was about changing my mindset and habits.”

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Danielle does a lot of different things to keep herself in shape. “I work out three days a week, with some incline walking on the treadmill, light weights – which is important as we get older – and some light squats,” she said in her interview with The Mirror. “I don’t like the gym and I’m not doing loads of HIIT or cardio classes, but I go because of my age, and as it’s good for my mindset.”

She Loves Salads

Danielle loves to make her own meals, specifically salads. She shared some of her favorite recipes in an interview with Women Fitness. “Lots of people think salads are boring for lunch, but that’s because they’re not putting love into it,” Danielle says. “I’ll make chicken & avocado, with lettuce, cucumber, and I’ll add pomegranate, and like to experiment with adding different seeds making my own healthy salad dressing. I also have tuna and mixed seafood salads.”

Danielle has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. “My daily skin care regime is to cleanse, tone and moisturize every morning and night,” she told Women Fitness. I also love to use bio oil every night before I go to sleep, which I’m sure people will think is a little odd to put on your face, but I honestly love the glow it gives me the next morning.
