Nina Marie Daniele, aka Nina Drama, is kickboxing with Paulo Costa in her exercise gear. In a new social media post the model and UFC darling shows off her amazing body during an interview with the Brazilian MMA fighter. “Do you think Paulo Costa has the best kicks in the UFC?” she captioned the video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Jiu Jitsu

Nina is a fan of jiu jitsu. Studies confirm that the practice helps with balance, cognitive function and psychological health in addition to weight loss and physical fitness.

2. Strength Training

Nina hits the gym for limited amounts of time. “I have a hard time at the gym because I can’t mentally handle being in there for more than 30 minutes at a time, I get a little antsy and can’t focus anymore. I usually end up at the smoothie bar and just take a couple laps around the cafe,” she told Design Scene.

3. Pole Dancing

Nina loves to pole dance. “My fitness routine includes me and a strip pole. I love to dance, I always have,” she revealed to Design Scene. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

4. Boxing

Nina Marie Daniele.4Nina Marie Daniele/Instagram

“The only way I can work out in a gym is if I have a trainer and when I do, I box,” Nina told Design Scene. Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

5. Vegan DIet

Nina also emphasizes the importance of diet. “They say it’s 80% in the kitchen 20% in the gym and being vegan has helped me keep my body healthy and in shape not to mention I have a lot more energy and am able to focus and keep motivated for longer periods of time. It also gives me peace of mind and my spirit at ease to know I’m not taking a life to feed myself when it’s not necessary. Live and let live,” she told Design Scene.

Tatiana Suarez is training hard in her workout gear. In a new social media post the UFC fighter shows off her super strong body in a two-piece set during a Sin City sweat session. “Two grappling sessions this Monday! Training to be the best every day! Let’s go 👊🏼🤼‍♀️,” she captioned the Instagram video and photo. “Champ,” commented one of her followers, while several others added fire emojis. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. People Tried to Talk Her Out of Wrestling

Tatiana felt pressured to stay away from wrestling as a kid."I was three years old when I started wrestling, and my whole life, people told me I shouldn't," she told Women's Health. "I would wrestle with their sons, and they'd be like, 'You're so cute. You should probably go do tennis.' And I'm like, 'I think tennis is great, but I'm wrestling, and I just beat your son. So maybe he should go do a different sport, not me.'"

2. Neck Injury and Cancer Treatment

Thyroid,Cancer,Word,Alphabet,Letters,On,Puzzle.,Healthcare,And,MedicalShutterstock

In 2011 Tatiana suffered a neck injury and while being treated, doctors discovered a cancerous tumor on her thyroid. She took a day-by-day approach to recovery. "I had to keep my diet a certain way, and I had to do certain exercises for my neck every day, and they were so tedious and boring," says Tatiana. "Not only that, but I couldn't do what I love, which is to go live and do my sport." Focusing on what she could control and letting go of what she couldn't helped her get through it all. "It's always easier said than done," she says. "But it's a constant battle."

3. Proper Nutrition

She also focused on adding lean muscle while staying light enough to transition to 115 pounds (the strawweight division) when it was time to compete again. "I ate a lot of high-protein foods and healthy fats like olive oil on salad, chicken, steak, eggs, and avocado," she says. "I also incorporated fish oil, creatine for when I spar, and Thorne's Curcumin Phytosome, which helps a lot with my inflammation." She avoids sugar and processed foods.

4. Jiu Jitsu and Boxing

"I'm a great wrestler, I know I'm great at jujitsu, I'm great at kicking," Tatiana says. "So right now, I've been focusing a lot on boxing because I know that it's probably my weakest thing. It's also given me a newfound respect for boxers."

5. Training 7 Days a Week

Tatiana trains seven days a week. Her workouts include cardio, strength training, jujitsu, and physical therapy. "I can't wrestle yet. I drill it, but I can't bend my knee all the way," says Tatiana. "When I'm in [training] camp, there's not so much emphasis on cardio just because I do cardio throughout my workouts.”

Amanda Nunes is ready to fight – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the UFC champ flaunts her fit figure in a two-piece exercise set, driving her followers wild. “You worked hard, now it's time to enjoy life 👏👏👏,” commented one of her followers. “The GOAT!!!!!!!!” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Mixed Martial Arts

As part of UFC, Amanda does a lot of MMA fighting. Studies confirm that the practice helps with balance, cognitive function and psychological health in addition to weight loss and physical fitness.

2. Challenges Push Her

Amanda explains to ESPN that she is driven by challenges. "When I don't feel challenges, things slow down. I don't know why, but it's how it is with me. I like to feel trapped. I like the challenges. That is going to bring the excitement back for me to bring my best the day of the fight,” she said.

3. Cold Plunge

Amanda enjoys a post-workout cold plunge. “Recovering,” she captioned this video. There is limited research supporting the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increased focus, improved sleep, and decreased inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes basic post-sport recovery.

4. Horseback Riding

When she isn’t fighting, Amanda enjoys riding horses. “ It was really good 🐎 This is my life 🐎 #riding,” she captioned a post. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

5. Her Own Gym

Amanda built her own dream gym, which she dubbed The Lioness Studio. It has a generous stretch of mat space for training, a full-sized cage, workout equipment and a small sauna. There is also an upstairs lounge with a television, kitchen, and bedroom. She told ESPN, “when I walk in here, I feel the same way as when I walked into American Top Team for the first time in my life," she said. "It's the same feeling when I step in this gym every day. This is the place that I'm gonna bring my belt that I'm supposed to have and by mistake I let it go. But this is the place that I'm gonna bring it back to and I'm gonna put it right here."

Juliana Velasquez is packing a punch – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the Bellator Flyweight World Champion shows off her amazingly fit figure in a two-piece exercise set while throwing punches during a training session. Her followers went wild over the video, with many of them commenting with fire emojis. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Espresso

Juliana enjoys the perks of coffee. Here she is taking a shot of espresso. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Treadmill

Juliana runs on the treadmill. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Airbike and Bike

She also trains on an airbike and also a spin bike. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

Stretching

At the beginning and end of her exercise sessions Juliana makes sure to stretch. “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Boxing

Boxing and kickboxing are Juliana’s main workouts. Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

Maycee Barner is showing off all her gym moods – and her amazing body in exercise clothes. In a new social media post the MMA fighter flaunts her figure in shorts and a crop top during an exercise session. “There’s no in between 😂💀 Which one are you?!” she captioned the video of all her gym moods. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Her Daily Schedule

Maycee works out from 9:30-10:30 a.m, wrestles from 1:30-2:30 p.m., and has team practice 3-4 p.m. Then, she takes a recovery period and does cryotherapy from 6-7 p.m. Then, at 8 p.m., a light run or hot tub, “depending on the day's training intensity.”

Science of Food

Shuterstock

"After I got signed with UFC, they did all these metabolic tests to create a meal plan for me, which they partnered with meal delivery service Trifecta to do," Barber told Well + Good. She avoids soy and dairy, and eats a diet high in protein, healthy fats, and lots of fibrous veggies as a result of her testing. "I've gotten really into the science behind what's best to eat because it's so important [for my job]," she said. "I've done meal plans in the past where I haven't felt good at all, I felt sick and tired all the time, but eating this way makes me feel energized and also keeps my immune system strong.”

Breakfast

"All of my meals are some sort of combination of protein and vegetables—including breakfast," says Barber. "I really love eggs, so that's something I have a lot in the mornings, often with a side of broccoli, or another high-fiber vegetable. I like to have coffee, but I wait until after my morning workout to have it. Throughout the day, I make sure to stay hydrated, too. Hydration is really important. I drink water before, during, and after all my workouts."

Lunch

Assortment,Of,Poke,Bowls,Flat,LayShutterstock

Next up, lunch. "There's a poke spot close to me that I love, so I got there a lot for lunch," she says. "I do a build-your-own-bowl, adding ahi tuna and lots and lots of greens. I also add in cilantro, cucumber, and red onion. The sauce I like to put on top is lime juice-based. I love this lunch because it's super healthy, really delicious, and gives me the stamina I need to push through my next workout,” she said.

Dinner

"Dinner is...yep, more protein and veggies! One of my go-to dinners is salmon and vegetables," she says. "It has protein, healthy fats, and of course lots of fiber—everything I know my body needs to feel good. I don't actually love the taste of salmon, but I do love the way it makes me feel. As you can see, I eat a lot of fish and vegetables; that's pretty much the core of my diet. I just try to find ways to keep it mix it up and keep it interesting."

Ana Zelu is a professional model and social media influencer. She is known for her content in nature. Zelu recently shared a post on Instagram of herself on a surfboard in the ocean. She captioned it, “Yesterday was such a fun shoot, I just had to share these with you 🤍 🛥️But picture number #4?? That photobomb totally got me 😂 Which picture is your favorite ?🌊”

She Swims

As you can see from her post, Zelu likes to swim. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.”

She Doesn't Compare Herself to Others

Zelu shares a lot of her thoughts on Instagram. In this post, she talked about no longer comparing herself to others. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today’s contemplation led me to a profound understanding of the detrimental impact comparison has on our lives. It’s like a silent intruder, subtly creeping into our thoughts and poisoning our perception of ourselves and others. It’s a universal struggle, one that weighs heavily on the hearts of many. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the ultimate thief of joy. It robs us of our ability to appreciate our own journey and achievements, as we constantly measure ourselves against an idealized version of others. I’ve resolved to break free from its grasp. We should choose to celebrate our own unique path, recognizing that each step forward is a triumph in itself. Rather than fixating on external benchmarks set by others, I’m focusing on personal growth and development. Whether it’s through learning new skills, cultivating gratitude, or simply practicing self-compassion, every effort counts.”

She Hikes

Zelu is seen on a hike in the previous Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking is very beneficial. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

She’s Resilient

Resilience is another important thing to Zelu. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Dear Diary 💭📝, I witnessed something truly remarkable that touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how people can go through the toughest storms in life and yet remain gentle, patient, and kind. I saw someone who faced challenges that would break most people, yet they chose to respond with grace and humility. Their ability to stay calm and compassionate in the face of adversity is nothing short of admirable. It made me realize the beauty of resilience – the strength to keep going even when life throws its hardest punches. These individuals not only endure the storms but also emerge from them with a spirit that shines brighter than before. Their example reminds me of the power of kindness and the importance of staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found 💕🫶”

She’s Accepted Herself

Zelu talked about the importance of acceptance in this Instagram post’s caption. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but amidst it all, I feel like I’ve taken a step closer to the right direction. Letting go of the past is like shedding a heavy coat I’ve been carrying for far too long. It’s not easy to release the memories, the pain, the regrets, but today, I made a choice to loosen the grip they had on me. It’s like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long—refreshing and liberating. Forgiving myself has been a journey filled with tears and moments of self-doubt. But today, I finally understood that I deserve the same forgiveness and understanding I give to others. It’s like giving myself a warm hug, wrapping myself in kindness and acceptance.”
