Unathi is offering a few “motivational” words – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the South African singer does a headstand and tries to give her followers some encouragement. “Remember to have fun,” she says. “I had a gig and she asked how she should start and what keeps me consistent. I told her it must always be FUN. Fun doesn’t mean easy. Fun doesn’t mean you always look forward to training but there MUST be a fun element. Today I didn’t want to train. I wanted to do the school run and then head straight back to bed becuase I have late afternoon engagements. Then I was laark ‘MaUni vuka sana and practise a headstand after workout’ Daar so we did it and now I feel proud that I woke up, did the damn work out and the headstands,” she captioned the post. How does the 45-year-old approach diet and fitness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Clean Eating

In one Instagram post, Unathi explained that “you cannot gym out a bad diet,” and revealed that she eats healthy most of the time. “I try to eat clean most of the week. I try to eat things that are as close to their origin as possible as found on earth. So I opt for sweet potato, potato and rice as my carb options as opposed to pasta and bread. I have become lactose intolerant which amuses my lil' humans because I love ice-cream, cheese, yoghurt, etc but I have to avoid those things.”

2. Changing Workout Routines Every 10 Days

Unathi explained to Women’s Health that she mixes up her workouts. “My body easily regulates itself to a new workout routine so I change every 10-day period to maximise my results. Other days I run. Running leans me out, but isn’t too great for sculpting the body. The other disciplines take care of that swiftly,” she said.

3. Little Sugar

High,To,Low,Stacks,Of,Sugar,Cubes,With,Blue,Background,Shutterstock

“Sugar is the most ageing property we consume as humans and in the top three most addictive substances in the world. Up there with cocaine. I try to consume only natural sugars even though I have a severe sweet tooth inherited from Ma Moms. Alcohol — I consume that thing but wisely. Gin with juice, or water or straight,” she said in the Instagram post.

4. Hydration

Unathi prioritizes hydration. “Bubbles bubbles bubbles are my fave. Water should become your best friend,” she said in the Instagram post. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

5. Squats and Ab Work

Unathi has two favorite exercises. “I want my tush to stay tight like a tiger to keep it cute,” she quips. So you best believe squats are a staple in every workout,” she told Women’s Health. “And I’m always working on my stomach ’cause I can’t protrude front and back. I know it sounds crazy, but it’s just how I’ve always negotiated with my body!”

Social media jump rope sensation Lauren Flymen is showing fans and followers a new skipping routine set to Madonna’s Like a Prayer. Flymen, 32, shared a video of herself wearing a red one-piece workout dress, jumping rope in her yard with headphones on and a black cap. “Fun one 💃🏼 🪢 using my pvc rope (link in bio) 🤓 learn my ways: @fancy.feats app,” she captioned the post. Flymen has made a career out of jumping rope and showing others how to do it—here’s what her wellness regimen looks like.

1. Fitness and Happiness

Flymen started jumping rope during the pandemic lockdowns. “Jump rope turned my life around in lockdown,” she told Get the Gloss. “Not only am I now the fittest I've ever been and in the best shape I've ever been, it gave me a reason to get out of bed when I wasn’t working, it gave me something to focus on, and it gave me the satisfaction of something to work towards with unlocking new skills. It kept me healthy, it connected me with people around the world and gave me a sense of togetherness.”

2. Strength Training

Flymen focused on strength training before she started to jump rope. "My cardiovascular endurance was lacking so it was a slight shock to the system taking up skipping,” she told Get the Gloss. “At first, I couldn't jump for very long without feeling exhausted. I find it so much easier now and my sessions are often up to an hour with little rest. I'd steered clear of cardio for a while because I didn't enjoy it and preferred weight lifting. Before skipping I was lifting weights four times a week so I had a level of fitness from that.”

3. Career Goals

Flymen is thrilled she gets to jump rope for a living. “When I started this, my goals were always just to learn the tricks, and those are still my goals,” she told Muscle and Health. “There are loads of skills I still want to learn. I realized skipping had become more than just a hobby when I went back to work after being furloughed, and it was so difficult to keep on top of everything going on. Shortly after that, I left my job, and now I can call skipping my full-time job, which is amazing.”

4. Sporty Spice

Women's,Lacrosse,Player,On,The,FieldShutterstock

Flymen has a background in sports and athletics. “I am a sporty person, and I grew up doing dance and sports such as squash, netball, lacrosse and athletics so I guess I'm quite coordinated although, that said, skipping made me feel very uncoordinated at first,” she told Get the Gloss. “It's so much harder than it looks. I'm quite a determined person and hate being rubbish at things so I guess I do pick things up quickly due to this.”

5. Have Fun Working Out

Flymen knows how important it is to find exercise you genuinely enjoy. “The best fitness advice I’ve ever received was to do something you enjoy and enjoy being fit and healthy,” she told Muscle and Health. “If you don’t enjoy it, you won’t be able to sustain it and won’t want to do it every day. So, find something you love doing every day. People should start skipping for the same reason I did because it’s so much fun. And once they get started, they won’t be able to stop.”

IskraLawrence1Iskra Lawrence/Instagram

Iskra insists that it is important to have a healthy relationship with fitness. “As someone who's had an eating disorder and had body dysmorphia, I used to see exercise as punishment, and I used to simply see it as a means to burn more calories, so I could be in calorie deficit,” she told Celebwell. Then she found “that joy in movement” and realized that exercise didn’t have to be “all or nothing” and then she started to enjoy it. “Now I know that there are so many different ways I can move my body,” she said.

2. Challenge Yourself

IskraLawrenceIskra Lawrence/Instagram

Iskra suggests finding ways to push and motivate yourself to do more. “When I do find a new challenge. I then feel really accomplished when I do something that's either unexpected or I know is empowering.” For example, sometimes she sets a high number of reps or weights.

3. Focus On Building Strength

Iskra strives for a feeling of strength and empowerment. “I like to view my body as something that's strong and something that's able, something that's taking me around the world enabling me to do things,” she continued. “I love going on hikes running after my little one.” Now she views her body, “like it's my home,” she continues. “I want it to be strong. I want it to be built out of brick, not straw.”

4. Find Your Safe Fitness Place

Iskra isn’t exactly comfortable in gym settings. “As a woman I feel like I'm never taken seriously when I want to use a piece of weight equipment,” she said. “I get interrupted a lot, even during reps and sets. I've been interrupted multiple times, tapped on the shoulder trying to talk to me about form. And for me when I want to work out it's like I only have this much amount of time allotted to move, and I just want to be in it. I want to forget that I'm in the real world. I'm just in this zone.” This is why she tries to workout at home.

5. Mix Up Your Workouts

While her partner, Philip Payne, can do the same cardio workout every night of the week, Iskra needs to mix up her routine and dabble in different workouts. “That would drive me bananas,” she told us. “I need to switch it up.”

Yanyah Milutinovic is a successful fitness model who, in a recent Instagram post’s caption, revealed that she has been diagnosed with something worrisome, but is still pushing herself to exercise. “I’ll share more about this in a future post, but I want to say that it was tough to process at first. I was scared this diagnosis might signal the end of my fitness journey. However, I reminded myself that I’ve lived with this condition for seven years; I just received a name for it now. I’ve achieved incredible things despite it, and I’m determined to continue doing so. I refuse to let this define me just because we have a label for it. It’s still a challenge to manage, but I’m committed to pushing through 🤍”

She’s Consistent

Milutinovic makes sure to be consistent with her exercise. She talked about this in the caption of her recent post. For those of you following my journey on my stories, you know it’s been a challenging few weeks. I’ve been showing up to the gym twice a day, pushing through early morning fasted cardio sessions from 5-6 AM while navigating what we initially thought was an injury, but turned out to be a diagnosis of a disease.”

She Makes Workouts Count

Milutinovic talked about the importance of making workouts count in the caption of this Instagram post. “As I am writing this, I am literally in pain sitting down; my gluteus soreness is next level due to this exact workout yesterday 🥲 It wasn’t an insanely heavy lifting session, but it definitely was one for the books 📚I picked a weight that challenged me and allowed me to focus on the muscles I was working throughout the whole motion 🧠💪🏻🔌No rushed reps, and no wasted sets 🙅🏼♀️This is something I often like to remind my clients; it’s not about counting the reps but making the reps count. 💭 I made the weight feel heavier than what it was by slowing down the execution and contracting the muscles the whole way 🐌”

She Takes Supplements

Milutinovic likes to take supplements to help with her health. She shared her secrets in the caption of this Instagram post. “Remember, supplements aren’t a magic trick, but they can work their magic 🪄🎩🐇 when combined with your dedication and effort 🤍💪🏻 As a busy mom, here are my top three supplements: - A quality pre-workout or fat burner for an energy boost - Creatine for added strength when I need that extra push after caring for my little rookie humans - Protein powder to help me reach my protein macros when I don’t have the opportunity to eat a full meal or haven’t had the chance to meal prep, but need something quick. Fitness model Michelle Lewin is asking fans their opinion on where she should compete next. Lewin, 38, shared a video of herself wearing bikini bottoms and a black tank top, posing in front of a mirror. “Will we compete again? 😜 And what category? Bikini or Wellness?” she captioned the post. “Beautiful Michelle! You are an example of perseverance and discipline ❤️,” a fan commented. Here’s how the fitness influencer stays strong and happy while juggling family and career.

1. Intense Cardio

Lewin loves intense cardio sessions at least once a day, especially when she’s trying to cut weight for competitions. “I just love to sweat like a maniac,” she told Simply Shredded. “So whatever I feel like: StairMaster, rollerblading around South Beach Miami or spinning classes. I keep the intensity high and make sure that I am always pushing my hardest.”

2. Go-To Exercises

New,Beginnings,Concept.,White,Starting,Line.,Word,Start,On,AShutterstock

Lewin has three exercises she would pick if she had to limit herself: “Sprints – Helps tighten that booty and burns fat at the same time,” she told Simply Shredded. “Lunges – Great exercise to really target my leg muscles. Side Lateral Raises – Boring for some people but I love to train shoulders and I feel that side raises have really helped sculpt my delts.”

3. Weights and Cardio

Lewin works out twice a day, mixing it up with weights and cardio. “My day consists of two workouts: cardio in the morning and weight training in the evening,” she told Iron Man Magazine. “But that’s the only thing that is constant from day to day. My life is packed with meetings, photo shoots, gym videos, and a lot of traveling. I train six days a week. I do cardio in the morning for 45 minutes and weights every evening. I do all muscle groups once per week, but I focus mostly on glutes and abs, which I train twice a week.”

4. Zumba Workouts

Zumba,-,Modern,Calligraphy,Text,On,Watercolor,Paint,Splash.Shutterstock

Lewin loves fun workouts like Zumba, which keep you going and don’t feel like a grueling exercise. She suggests doing it in hotel rooms while traveling if necessary. "Each move you make is accompanied by music, and music is the main motivator,” she told PEOPLE. “You forget to count while you are exercising and enjoy yourself while you do this one-hour workout that works out every muscle in your body."

4. Always Ready

Lewin doesn’t take a break from training, after a negative experience while on vacation. “I wasn’t able to keep up my routine, and it took almost two months to get back in shape,” she told Iron Man Magazine. “I really learned from that and will never do that again! I’m usually just seven days out from being shoot or competition ready. My body is my career and a business, so I can’t afford to let it go.”

Oksana Grishina in Two-Piece Workout Gear Says "You are Stronger Than You Think"

Oksana Grishina is a fitness powerhouse. A former Ms. Olympia and multiple-time Arnold Classic champion, she’s carved out a name for herself as one of the most elite competitors in the world. Beyond the stage, she’s a dedicated coach, helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Recently, Grishina took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her gym grind, posting a striking photo of herself in peak form. Dressed in a sleek white workout top and black leggings, she delivered an empowering message: “You are stronger than you think.” The post isn’t just motivational—it’s a testament to her relentless commitment to health and strength.

So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From stair-stepping workouts to consistent weightlifting, here’s a look at Grishina’s go-to fitness secrets.

She Does A Stepmill

Grishina shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. She recently had a baby, and has been documenting her journey of losing pregnancy weight. One thing Grishina is doing is using a stepmill. She shared this video of herself doing so, captioning it, “Recovery!!! Here we go💪🏼 Instead of the boring treadmill, I decided to do the stepmill 🔥In the process of getting back in shape😤”

She’s Consistent

Grishina makes sure to stay consistent with her fitness. She made sure to workout while she was pregnant. Grishina shared her pregnancy workout in this Instagram post. She captioned it, “Obviously my workout schedule has changed since I got pregnant but hasn’t been one day that I missed it💪🏼My pregnancy workout schedule: Morning- 30 min cardio bicycle or treadmill🚴 Day- 30-40 min light weight or body weight workout 🏋️♀️ Evening- 20 min cardio bicycle 🚴 Will it help keep your shape? Absolutely not but I promise you’ll feel better and stronger.”

She Uses A Stationary Bike

Grishina revealed in the previous post’s caption that she uses a stationary bike to keep herself in shape. Penn State PRO Wellness says, “Riding a stationary exercise bike is an efficient and effective way to burn calories and body fat while strengthening your heart, lungs, and muscles. Compared to some other types of cardio equipment, a stationary bicycle puts less stress on your joints, but it still provides an excellent aerobic workout.”

She Uses A Treadmill

Grishina also revealed in the previous Instagram post caption that she does treadmill workouts. Using a treadmill has a lot of benefits. Healthy Talbot reports, “Treadmills are mostly used for cardio training. However, this fitness machine can be used for more boosting your cardiovascular health. It’s ideal for strengthening your muscles, including glutes, thighs, and calves. With treadmill workouts, you can always optimize the sessions to suit your goals. For instance, inclining the treadmill will stretch out the calves and glutes harder. This will help to tone and build muscle mass in your buttocks, legs, and thighs.”

She Lifts Weights

Grishina is seen lifting weights in the previous Instagram post. Lifting weights has a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness states, “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

A growing body of scientific evidence supports teaching patients how to cook meals at home as an effective medical intervention for improving diet quality, weight loss, and diabetes prevention.”

She Works Hard

Clark made sure to work hard to get herself in shape. She opened up about her fitness journey after having surgery in the caption of this Instagram post. “The far left photo was about a month before my emergency surgery. My intestines twisted and I was rushed into surgery. The doctors said there is no reason your intestines can twist - it can happen to anyone at anytime. I completely lost my core, I wasn’t able to eat so I lost a ton of weight and muscle. I literally started back at square 1. It was a nightmare. The middle photo was a couple months after surgery. As you can see my glute, legs, arms, everything was just gone. The right photo was about a year after my surgery. I am stronger than I have ever been. Mentally, physically and emotionally because I never gave up. Not every day was easy but I took it one day at a time. If you’re starting on your fitness journey for the first time, or restarting remember that you have to celebrate the small goals. You will get stronger in every single way. If I can do it, I know you can too!”

She Does Full Body Workouts

Clark makes sure to workout her entire body. She shared a full-body workout with weights in this Instagram video. Clark is seen doing exercises like squats with a shoulder press and mountain climbers in it. Emily Elizabeth is heating up Hawaii – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the model and influencer shows off her amazing figure in a two-piece while on the beaches of the tropical paradise. “Hawaii >> 🌺🌈,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Simply Beautiful ❤️🏖❤,” commented one of her followers. “🔥😍perfect,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Hydration

Emily prioritizes hydration. Not only does she drink water, but also electrolyte enhanced fruit. “Fresh coconut,” she captioned a photo from Bora Bora. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Coffee

Emily enjoys the perks of caffeine. Here she is drinking a cup of coffee. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Snowboarding

While you can usually find Emily in the tropics, sometimes she heads over to the mountains for winter sports. In one of her photos she goes snowboarding. According to the University of Rochester, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. “Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles,” they say. “Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for chronic diseases, and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.”

Snorkeling

While on vacation Emily throws on a mask and fin and goes snorkeling. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Walking

She also takes her dog for walks. Here she is strolling in Central Park with her pooch. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
