Lambert is an avid chef. She even has her own cookbook, Y’all Eat Yet? “I love the camaraderie in the kitchen and around the table that comes with cooking,” she told CNN. Cooking has a lot of benefits. Harvard Health states, “We already know that the more people cook at home, the healthier their diet, the fewer calories they consume, and the less likely they are to be obese or develop type 2 diabetes. A growing body of scientific evidence supports teaching patients how to cook meals at home as an effective medical intervention for improving diet quality, weight loss, and diabetes prevention. In fact, research is turning to studying the value of nutrition programs that include cooking instruction. These programs have been shown to help people adhere to a healthier diet, eat smaller portions, and lose weight — improvements that lasted as long as a year after the study ended. These programs can even help patients with type 2 diabetes to eat healthier, lower blood pressures and blood sugars, and lose weight. Hard to believe it, but time in the kitchen can be as valuable as medication for some people with diabetes.”

4. She Uses Face Masks

Lambert has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. Her makeup artist, Moani Lee, shared some of the products she uses on Lambert to New Beauty. Lee says that she uses face masks on the singer. “I also like to use the Celestial Black Diamond Eye Mask to quench the under eye area with moisture-boosting hyaluronic acid and skin-rejuvenating retinol. It also has Hexapeptide which helps to tighten and smooth the under eye area.”

5. She Takes Care Of Her Lips

1. She Worked With A Fitness Coach

The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards - Red CarpetGetty Images

Wright opened up about her weight loss and getting healthier to Soap Opera Digest in 2016. She says that she got in touch with a fitness coach. “For six months, I’d feel better and then get sick again. I was still really struggling with the end of my marriage [to John Wright, her spouse of 21 years] — feeling better about it, but probably not really dealing with it. And I thought, ‘I have to do something.’ There was a girl I’d seen a lot on my friends’ [social media] pages, a Beach body coach. I reached out to her and said, ‘I need to make a major change in my life.’”

2. She Kept Herself Accountable

2016 Daytime Emmy Awards - ShowGetty Images

In her Soap Opera Digest interview, Wright revealed that her coach had her post workout photos on Facebook each day. She says that this helped her stick with the workouts and motivate her. “My coach had me showing up to a Facebook page to post after-workout pictures and that accountability really got into my head,” she explains. “The workout is only 30 minutes a day and no matter how late I worked, I worked out. If I got home at 8:30 or 9 at night, I worked out and posted that picture. If I had to be at work at 6:30, I was up at 5 doing my workout and posting. I was like, ‘This really works!’ Then I thought, ‘Every workout works. So why did this click in differently for my brain?’ And it was the coaching page, the community.”

3. She’s Positive

Wright is all about having a positive mindset, as she thinks this helps get her through rough times. She shared her mantra in an interview with FBJ Fit. “Whenever I am facing anything challenging, I tell myself, ‘I can handle this. I got it!’ I passionately believe that you are what you say you are. If you say you feel tired and terrible all the time, then that is your reality. Being grateful, and taking responsibility for your thoughts and actions, gives you the power to create the life you want. Much like the character of Carly, I really try to tune into and trust my instincts!”

4. Wright Has Found Acceptance in Herself

44th Daytime Emmy Awards - Portraits by The Artists Project Sponsored by Foster GrantMichael Bezjian/WireImage

Wright has found acceptance in herself, and talked about this on Instagram. “This 23-year-old was ashamed of her body and thought if she could lose 10 more pounds she would be perfect and worthy of love,” Wright wrote in the caption. “She wasn’t focused on the things she loved, just on being skinny enough to be loved. Every day, all day long, these were my thoughts. 30 years later I’m finally discovering how beautiful life is. How grateful I am for a body that has been with me and taking care of me for 51 years. And how much fun life can be when you decide to live! Not sure why I decided to share this today. I just got this picture last night and wanted to hug this young girl and tell her how amazing she is.”

I need more carbs!’" The “wannabe vegan” works with nutritionist Cara Clark, focusing on maintaining a healthy balance of 25 percent protein, 45 percent carbs and 30 percent fat. It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter,” she told InStyle. “And it doesn't take me as long as it did in the past. "I need someone telling me what to do, and I love being in a group environment because I'm very competitive, so it pushes me to work harder than I would if I was by myself." The 32-year-old is a devotee of The Dogpound, a hardcore boot camp style studio The Dogpound she regularly visits with her friends. 2020 AACTA Awards Presented by Foxtel | Television Ceremony

Working out and eating right are only part of the equation to weight loss, per actress Rebel Wilson, who lost a whopping 60 pounds in less than a year. While she majorly revamped her diet and embarked on a fitness routine, it was the work she did on the instead that helped her achieve her goals. "I think because I approached it from all areas ... the biggest thing that I haven't ever worked on was the emotional side, what I suffered from, I guess, as classical emotional eating … so I really worked on that side," she told Extra.

Instead of trying to lose weight or get to a certain clothing size, Rita Ora suggests putting your focus on getting stronger. "I didn't start working out to get skinnier—I started working out to feel better. And I think it's important for women to know that,” she told Shape. “Don't be obsessed with being thin. You just have to be fit, healthy, and strong," she said. "I love my shape because it's curvy. I have thighs. I'm a size 28 in jeans. And that's an average, normal size. I'm proud that I'm normal."

I've been doing that since April and I've noticed enormous changes in my body."

Create & Cultivate Los AngelesGetty Images

After tipping the scales at 240 pounds during her pregnancy with third child, Birdie Mae, Jessica Simpson started walking her way to a 100-pound weight loss with the help of trainer Harley Pasternak. He started off by setting her goal at 6,000 steps and then eventually upping it to 14,000. "It had to be more than just getting back from her baby weight, but how do I keep whatever I am doing now forever. That's why we are not a big fan of doing any extreme diet or radical forms of exercise,” he told E! about the weight loss strategy he developed for the star, which also included healthy eating, sleep, and full body workouts. “Woke up before all 3 kiddos to get my steps in and spend time with me, myself, and I. Move move move for your own mental health,” she captioned a 2020 Instagram post.

8. Halle Berry: You Have to Commit

That's the hard work that people have to do."

9. Nicole Scherzinger: Everything in Moderation

FOX's The Masked Singer - Season FiveGetty Images

"For breakfast I love eggs and toast and smoked salmon or bacon, or porridge. For lunch I like maybe some soup or some sushi. For dinner, anything from pasta to rice, and meats and veggies, to sushi. When I'm going to indulge, I love pasta, pizza, I love Mexican with lots of cheese. I love French fries, or crisps – salt and vinegar crisps. In terms of snacks: almonds, coconut water, bits of coconut, baby carrots."

10. Gabrielle Union: Don’t Commit to One Workout Only

2021 Billboard Music Awards - BackstageGetty Images

Gabrielle Union allows her workout routine to evolve. "As the workout phases come and go, I'll try everything," she previously told Women's Health. "Nothing, not one thing, has stuck. I've tried kickboxing, cardio barre, I've tried a SoulCycle class...I'm not a class person." In a 2019 Instagram post, she also revealed that her motivations for exercise are also evolving. “There are times I workout for a job or specific athletic goals but usually I workout to maintain my peace. Sometimes i grunt, grimace, scream...many times I've cried while training. I've cried due to frustration. I've cried from physical pain. Many times I've cried as my fears and anxiety leave my body. For me, I'm always working out my spirit and exercising my soul. This morning felt like the end of a week of taking Ls, but today I got up and reminded myself that even when I lose, I win because I'm committed to learning and evolving,” she wrote.

Giulia Arena first made waves when she won the 2013 Miss Italia pageant. Since then, she’s become a successful actress, TV host, and model. Arena recently took a trip to the Maldives. She shared a set of photos on Instagram of herself at the beach. In them, Arena is seen in a white swimsuit. She captioned the post, “Native habitat.”

Biking

Giulia enjoys cycling. During her trip to the Maldives Giulia went bike riding. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

Reading

Giulia is also a fan of books. In the Maldives, she took some time to relax and read. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Snorkeling

Giulia snorkels, recently discovering the “Sea Lung,” she revealed in a post. “It reaches 60cm long with a weight of almost 10kg, and represents the largest medusa of the Mediterranean. I don’t know why, but I have always experienced the charm of Jellyfish: creatures that are essentially simple and yet capable of surviving entire geological epochs floating, light and slow, between the currents. She, remains one of the most beautiful sights of this summer.” Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Coffee

Giulia is a coffee drinker. She especially likes shots of espresso. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Yoga

Giulia is a yogi. Here she is doing yoga. There are many reasons to do yoga, according to Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

Snorkeling

During a recent tropical getaway, Adriana went snorkeling. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Strength Training

Strength training is Adriana’s main form of fitness. Here she is working out with her trainer at the gym. “Even the gym is a perfect place to play,” she captioned the post. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Padel

Adriana is a fan of Padel. “It seems like a joke but it's reality,” she wrote about a video of herself running around the court.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.
