1. She Enjoys Fitness

One of Hudgens’ workout secrets? It’s enjoying fitness. “If I ever get to the point that I’m not happy with my body, I’ll do something about it,” she tells Women’s Health. “You will always have the power to do something. Sometimes it will take a little longer than you would like, and sometimes it may be a little more extreme. But if you honestly have a goal, you can do it. You just need to figure out the right way to get there.”

2. She Loves Avocado

Celebrity Sightings In New York - April 11, 2023

Hudgens opened up about her diet in her Women’s Health interview. “I eat a whole avocado a day," she says. "I need high fats. If I'm not getting enough, my body holds on to calories. We've been trained to think that fats are bad, but they're so good—a source of energy and sustenance that keeps you going through the day. That's the only way I can not eat carbs."

3. She Does SoulCycle

Hudgens shared some of her favorite workouts in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she likes to go to fitness classes, particularly SoulCycle. “I tend to ride for the teachers,” Hudgens says. “I'm such a performer. I love being in front, because I'll push myself harder and I'll give the class energy too. So it's a win-win.”

4. She’s Building Confidence

Hudgens tells Women’s Health that she has built a lot of confidence in herself. “I would feel less than because of my size. I see how women who are 5’9” walk into a room, and I am so attracted to the space they take up. But then I started to realize that you can take up space without height—with your achievements, points of view, and opinions. Now that I’ve realized I can work through it, I’m like, ‘How do I make myself feel more confident?’”

5. She Loves Yoga

Hudgens also loves to practice yoga as a way to stay in shape. “I don't consider it fitness," she says to Women’s Health. "It's more like therapy for me.” The American Osteopathic Organization states that yoga has a lot of benefits. “Aside from the physical benefits, one of the best benefits of yoga is how it helps a person manage stress, which is known to have devastating effects on the body and mind.”

6. She Works Out With Others

Hudgens shared some of her fitness secrets in an interview with Shape. She says that she likes to workout with her friends. “During the pandemic, when everything was paused, I created a little community. I'd get my friends together over Zoom and we would do Isaac Boots's live workout classes. As the world started to reopen, I found myself obsessed with Dogpound. I go with my best friend; we're extremely competitive. We have the best time — the amount of dancing we do between sets is ridiculous. Everyone knows when we're at the gym. They say they hear us before they see us.”

7. She Eats Real Food

Hudgens tells Shape that she likes to eat natural food. "My overall food philosophy is, if it's real, I'll eat it. Many things are processed and contain chemicals and ingredients I can't pronounce. I want real food. If I'm in Italy, and I see them making pasta by hand, or if it grows from the earth, that's real. I stay away from the processed stuff.”

1. Hudgens Eats Like This When on Set

“I mix it up every now and then, but I always go to the exact same spot and rotate between a breakfast burrito, this fried rice that has vegetables and eggs on it, or this thing that's like bread, but it's made with seeds and there's almond butter and jelly on top of it. And then always an almond milk latte.” For lunch when she’s on set, “lunch is kind of like combination of lunch and dinner. We have catering, which is lovely, but I kind of eat the same thing every day, whatever vegetables there are, whatever fish there is and whatever pasta there is,” she told Vanity Fair.

2. Hudgens Eats Like This When Cooking

If she’s feeling like something different, “A typical breakfast for me is two scrambled eggs, three pieces of bacon and a half of avocado and coffee and normal lunch is chicken with another half of an avocado, tons of greens, maybe some nuts on top of there. For dinner, I normally either have grilled salmon or steak like butter on it and grilled vegetables or a salad and a glass of wine. My favorite cheat snack. I love hot Cheetos. I don't know why I always have, and I always will," she told Rachael Ray.

3. She Likes Her Tried and True Workouts

“I'm always down to try something new. I just love getting my blood pumping and I feel like it's just such an important thing to constantly do. So I'm always down to try something new,” she told Access Live. “I like tried and true with my soul cycle, Pilates and yoga. I like, I know what works for me for my body, but I just keep that up constantly.” She can also be seen working out at the Dogpound training center.

4. This is Her One Piece of Fitness Advice

“Just try new things. There's so many different types of fitness out there for everyone. And like one thing will resonate with you and then find a group of friends to do it with like, that's my favorite thing is getting my girlfriends together and going and doing a class together because then you have someone to hold you accountable, which I think is really important. But just enjoy it. Like, it can be a fun thing.”

5. She Says Get Athleisure You Love

"Another great thing for working out is like get fitness clothes at leisure that you're into. Like I designed for Avia and I did this whole collection and I'm continuing to work with them because I'm like, it's so amazing when you put on fitness clothes and you actually feel good before the workout. And then you go into the workout with confidence and an extra boost in your step. And then you're looking at yourself in the mirror and you're like, oh, I look good. I feel good. Let's do this workout,” she told Access Live.

6. She Knows the Value of High Fats

The star mentioned avocado and she means it. "I need high fats," Hudgens explained toWomen's Health. "If I'm not getting enough, my body holds on to calories. We've been trained to think that fats are bad, but they're so good—a source of energy and sustenance that keeps you going through the day. That's the only way I can not eat carbs." "One serving of a medium avocado is low in carbohydrates, yet it contains three grams of fiber," Toby Smithson, MS, RDN, CDE, of DiabetesEveryDay and author of Diabetes Meal Planning and Nutrition, told our sister site Eat This, Not That!. "Consuming higher fiber may reduce the risk of heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, and obesity." A 2019 study says eating the fruit regularly results in "a lower prevalence of excess weight, and attenuates adult weight gain in normal-weight individuals over time."

1. She Eats Like This

vanessa-hudgens-wolfeVanessa Hudgens/Instagram

“For me, eating clean always changes,” Hudgens once told the Cut. “Through the holidays of course, you kind of let go and just eat whatever you want because it’s fun and you’re enjoying life, but after the holidays I feel like everyone needs to get back on track, myself included. I went and saw a nutritionist and I found the best way of eat for me is a high-fat, high-protein, high-green salad. No carbs, no dairy, and no sugar. In the beginning it was really rough because not having any sort of grains is tough, but as I continued to stick with it I found my energy levels flew through the roof. I had no dips of energy in the day. I felt super focused, super clear. It felt really good, especially in my line of work where you’re doing such long days, I need my energy.”

2. This is Her Secret Wellness Hack

“Just drinking a lot of water. It’s something that’s so easy to forget about but when I’m tired, I know I’m dehydrated, and when my skin’s not great, I know I’m dehydrated. It’s just so important to drink a ton of water,” she told the Cut.

3. She Loves Class Fitness

"I'm the type of person that needs to be in a class," Vanessa told PopSugar. "I need someone telling me what to do, and I love being in a group environment because I'm very competitive, so it pushes me to work harder than I would if I was by myself." Maybe that’s why she loves SoulCycle so much: "Put me on a bike in a room with loud music, and I'm happy," she said to Women's Health. "It's like dancing without the stress of worrying if you look good."

4. She Eats This Superfood

"I need high fats," Hudgens explained to WH. "If I'm not getting enough, my body holds on to calories. We've been trained to think that fats are bad, but they're so good—a source of energy and sustenance that keeps you going through the day. That's the only way I can not eat carbs."

5. She Trains at the Dogpound

“Victoria's Secret models and celebrities like Hugh Jackman, Ashley Graham, and Ansel Elgort have exercised at Dogpound, but given the exclusivity and price tag associated with being a member there (one 60-minute personal training session is at least $200), most people don't get a full picture of what goes on behind the scenes,” reports Insider. Hudgens has provided some sneak peeks, sharing videos from her workouts.

6. She Knows It’ll Take Time

"You will always have the power to do something. Sometimes it will take a little longer...but if you honestly have a goal, you can do it," she revealed in her cover story for Women's Health. "You just need to figure out the right way to get there."

Vanessa Hudgens is showing off her fit body in a bathing suit. In a new social media post the newlywed flaunts her incredibly toned figure in a swimsuit while posing poolside. “A lil sunshine is always good for the soul,” she captioned the Instagram snap, driving her followers wild. “The body is bodying,” one of them commented. “You are such a queen,” added another. How does the High School Musical alum approach diet and fitness? Celebwell rounded up some of her top lifestyle habits.

1. No Processed Food

Vanessa’s diet is clean. She avoids processed food and sticks to whole and healthy options. "My overall food philosophy is, if it's real, I'll eat it," she told Shape. "Many things are processed and contain chemicals and ingredients I can't pronounce. I want real food." This means no junk food, candy, or fast food.

2. Intermittent Fasting

Hudgens has supported intermittent fasting for years. When she is following the time restricted eating plan she feasts between noon and 6 p.m. and fasts for the remaining 18. “I’ve been intermittent fasting a lot, because for me, I love pasta, I love pizza, and when I’m not eating carbs I feel like a little piece of me dies,” she told People. “Intermittent fasting is great, because when I am fasting — those first two weeks are definitely rough, I’m not going to lie, but after that I feel more grounded and powerful in my workouts. And I get the nutrients that I need when I eat, but then I also eat what I want.”

3. Healthy Fats

Bowl,Of,Almond,Butter,Isolated,On,White,Background,,Top,View,Shutterstock

Vanessa goes “back and forth” between intermittent fasting and keto. However, she tries to avoid most carbohydrates and fuels up with fats most of the time. “It’s great,” she told People. “If you have the right ingredients to keep you on track, I think it’s amazing. People a lot of times think of fats in diets as a negative thing, and when you’re doing keto it’s a very positive thing. I’m always making sure I’m getting those healthy fats in, so I eat a LOT of almond butter. You feel really energetic and supported on the keto diet.”

4. Lots of Exercise

Vanessa is “basically always working out,” she told People. “I feel like I’ve kind of found a recipe for my body that works,” she says. “It’s SoulCycle for cardio, to keep my heart healthy. It’s Pilates for lengthening, leaning and toning. And yoga for my mental health.” She also lifts heavy weights. “My fitness has taken a turn. Cardio has been put on the back burner, and I'm very OK with that,” Hudgens recently told Shape. “The things that have become the most important are balance and mental health.” She does a lot of weight and strength training at The Dogpound gym, which she is “obsessed with.”

5. Probiotics

Hudgens also takes probiotics, recently partnering with supplement wellness brand Ritual, after incorporating its best-selling Synbiotic+ into her routine. "I'm always traveling and moving around and on the go, and a big proportion of your immune system's actually in your GI tract," she told People. "So I was like, 'Okay, I'm going to prioritize this and make sure that taking care of my gut is actually going to help me in a big way, whether that's with digestion or with boosting my immune system.' And Ritual does exactly that."

Actress Vanessa Hudgens is 34 and in the best shape of her life. The High School Musical star is featured in a new promotional snap from Caliwater Cactus Water, posing in a one-piece cutout swimsuit against a dramatic beach sunset. “The moment you’ve all been pine-ing for is here! our newest flavor, my favorite, Pineapple is here! 🍍🌵💦 tap to shop! Xoxo, V,” she captioned the post. “Gorgeous!” a fan commented. Hudgens has been in the public eye for decades, and only seems to be getting fitter by the day—here are 5 lifestyle tips she swears by.

1. Less Cardio

Hudgens enjoys mixing up her workouts, but doesn’t focus as much on cardio these days. “My fitness has taken a turn,” she says. “Cardio has been put on the back burner, and I'm very OK with that. The things that have become the most important are balance and mental health. During the pandemic, when everything was paused, I created a little community. I'd get my friends together over Zoom and we would do Isaac Boots's live workout classes.”

2. Real Food Diet

New,York,,Ny,-,June,12,,2022:,Vanessa,Hudgens,WearingShutterstock

Hudgens sticks to a pescatarian diet with whole foods. “My overall food philosophy is, if it's real, I'll eat it,” she says. “Many things are processed and contain chemicals and ingredients I can't pronounce. I want real food. If I'm in Italy, and I see them making pasta by hand, or if it grows from the earth, that's real. I stay away from the processed stuff. I also don't eat meat. I'm a pescatarian. What animals go through is so inhumane. That's not a system that I support.”

3. An Avocado a Day

Fresh,Avocado,And,Baby,SpinachShutterstock

Hudgens is a big fan of healthy plant-based fats, as in delicious avocados. "I eat a whole avocado a day," she says. "I need high fats. If I'm not getting enough, my body holds on to calories. We've been trained to think that fats are bad, but they're so good—a source of energy and sustenance that keeps you going through the day. That's the only way I can not eat carbs."

4. Strength Training

Hudgens has replaced cardio sessions with strength training and Pilates. “As the world started to reopen, I found myself obsessed with Dogpound. I go with my best friend; we're extremely competitive,” she says. “We have the best time — the amount of dancing we do between sets is ridiculous. Everyone knows when we're at the gym. They say they hear us before they see us. I do squats with a rack, and I love to see how much weight I can add to the bar. That's empowering. And I've just gotten back into Pilates with a reformer. It works your muscles like nothing else."

5. Moving Meditation

Hudgens considers working out a form of therapy. “If I ever get to the point that I’m not happy with my body, I’ll do something about it,” she says. “You will always have the power to do something. Sometimes it will take a little longer than you would like, and sometimes it may be a little more extreme. But if you honestly have a goal, you can do it. You just need to figure out the right way to get there… Working out is like moving meditation. I feel you can work through things better in movement than being stagnant. You’re pushing through and surviving, and you know you will succeed and get through it no matter how uncomfortable it is.”

So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
