How does the Mexican reality star approach diet and fitness? Here is everything you need to know about her routine.

1. A Fitness Lover

In an exclusive interview with CelebWell, Vanessa revealed that she is a “fitness lover, especially for the last five years when I faced a hormonal imbalance due to stress, and knowing that fitness can help with all of this made me take it more seriously. I really love it,” she told us

2. No Crash Diets

“I don’t really follow any diet but I like to start my first meal with a protein shake with fruit and oatmeal, then I’ll eat a salad with protein for lunch and a good dinner with protein, carbs, and veggies,” she told us. “Then weekends are more relaxed, I don’t restrict myself from anything.”

3. Intermittent Fasting

Vanessa eats during an eight to 10 hour window. “I do intermittent fasting. I do between 14 to 16 hours of fasting,” she reveals. During her feast hours she tries to “eat as much as possible while following the Paleo diet for health purposes,” she says. “When I feel like I want something else, I eat, because when I restrict myself it makes me unhappy. I feel that happiness is the key to being healthy and having a good fitness achievable regimen.” She also shies away from two things. “I try to avoid anything with sugar unless it’s honey, maple or fruit sugar. I also try to stay away from gluten as much as I can and processed foods,” she says.

4. Meditation

Vanessa doesn’t overlook the importance of her mental health. “I do meditation,” she said, adding that it makes “my spirit happy!” she says.

5. Pilates and Boxing

Vanessa is a fan of a few different workouts. “I love the pilates reformer!” she says. “I also do workouts with Scott at Strong Confident Living online which are 20 minutes and in-person, which are 45 minutes dragon flags, just like ROCKY!” she says. She usually gets her sweat on early in the morning to “kick start” her day. “Right now I’m learning how to box with my fiancé, he’s so good at it and we have so much fun doing it together. We are also running 2-4 K every day now!” she said.

Selling Sunset star Vanessa Villela isn’t one to give up on her health and fitness goals over the holidays. Villela, 45, shared a picture of herself posing with friends in a blue workout outfit and orange sneakers, flexing her bicep to show off her strong, toned physique. “Happy Monday! Do you want to end the year feeling amazing?” she captioned the post. Villela is not only a star real estate agent, she’s a talented and accomplished actress—here’s what her diet and exercise looks like.

1. Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent,Fasting.,Healthy,Breakfast,,Diet,Food,Concept.,Organic,Meal.,FatShutterstock

Villela practices intermittent fasting and a healthy diet. “Intermittent fasting has been the key to everything, it helps with metabolism, skin, gut health, and my energy levels,” she tells Healthista. “I don’t follow anything too specific, so there’s no 11am to 8pm schedule. If I finish my last meal at 9pm let's say, then I just wait 14 or 15 hours to eat the next day. Sometimes I will have a planet-based protein shake that has superfoods with fruit and oat milk, or if I feel like I want to have a burger, I just have the burger without the bun – I follow what my body wants but do that in a healthy way.”

2. Fun Workouts

Villela does Pilates and online workouts. “I do [reformer Pilates] about five or six days a week," she tells Healthiest. "For me moderate is something my body tolerates better. It strengthens the body and muscles in a different way – it elongates the muscles and I was in very good shape because of that. I combine it with weights, boxing, running 3k and other workouts, sometimes in person and sometimes online, called Strong Confident Living or Karen Lord for if you don’t have much time because they are about 10-20 minutes long. Find a workout that you enjoy the most and use it as something fun that you enjoy doing for yourself. No one else is going to benefit from the workout but you and it will always make you feel good when you finish.”

3. Fan Favorite

Villela is thrilled to have been a fan favorite on Selling Sunset. “I never really imagined that I’d be a fan favorite, especially in my first season!” she told Now Magazine LA. “It’s been so overwhelming, but in a good way. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, especially because it has given me the opportunity to fulfill my passion for helping other people. I also love that it really helps me feel more connected with people because they know me more as Vanessa, and not just as an actress. It makes me so happy, especially after all the grief and the chaos of the pandemic. I get to start a new era of helping people with what they’re going through by sharing what I went through and how I cope with day to day struggles. It’s been the best thing that could happen to me.”

4. Weight Loss Stress

The Critics Choice Association's Celebration of Latino Cinema & TelevisionLester Cohen/Getty Images

Villela says that at one point, the stress of trying to lose weight spiked her cortisol levels and made weight loss even harder. “I would look in the mirror and I wouldn’t recognise myself,” she told Healthista. “My face is the first thing that gains weight. I think that the stress of wanting to lose weight was not allowing me to lose weight and recover my health. I was extremely tired with work and the energy with the [soap opera] characters was so intense that my cortisol levels, the stress hormone, went super high and created a lot of problems with my hormones and the thyroid – everything… I think that sometimes we don’t prioritize ourselves. We all have very busy lifestyles and sometimes it’s hard to say ‘ok I’m going to wake up 30 minutes before’ but I think it’s important for any person to live a healthy life.”

5. Role Model

Villela is guided by her mother’s example and work ethic. “Well, my first role model was my mom, for sure,” she told Now Magazine LA. “My parents got divorced when I was seven, and I always saw my mom working non-stop and being a supermom and cooking and everything. She was sensational. She has been my inspiration since I was little because I always wanted to make her proud.”

1. Sumo Squats with Kettlebell

Vanessa started off her mini workout video, which was first shared by her trainer in May, by perfectly executing sumo squats with a kettlebell. The compound exercise is incredibly effective, forcing a variety of muscles -- including glutes, quadriceps, calves -- to workout together. Clearly she was having some fun with her fitness routine, as she playfully stuck out her tongue for the camera.

2. Side Squat with Resistance Band and Medicine Ball

In another compound exercise, Hudgens held a medicine ball while she executed a slide squat, a move made extra hard with the addition of a resistance band around her ankles.

3. Reverse Lunge to High Knee with Dumbbells

Next up, a reverse lunge to high knee with dumbbells. Another compound move, this exercise works everything to the legs and butt to abs.

I love a double up!” she told Parade. “I always feel so accomplished when I double up. Vanessa Hudgens is showing off her impressive Pilates moves – on a reformer. In a recent social media post shared by the High School Musical star’s Pilates trainer, Nonna Gleyzer, the actress shows off her gorgeously sculpted body in a catsuit while executing a difficult move. “Behind every great woman, there is another great woman. That’s what I’m going to say about one and only @vanessahudgens that’s is doing the most amazing job performing Russian Spilt on Pilates Reformer. 👊my beautiful friend!!!” Gleyzer captioned the post. The trainer-to-the-stars (Gisele and Kelly Rowland are two of her other famous clients) dished on Vanessa’s Pilates practice to Celebwell. Here is everything you need to know about it.

1. Vanessa Is Trained Like a Dancer and Athlete

“It’s extremely easy to work with Vanessa, because she is by far one of the most coordinated, focused, and very in tune with her body people. She is also very flexible and has amazing control. It’s like working with a dancer and an athlete at the same time,” Gleyzer tells us. “She is very active and does different workouts all the time. She just loves to move her body.”

2. 3 to 4 Pilates Sessions Per Week

In addition to weight training, Vanessa visits the Body By Nonna studio multiple times a week. “When it comes to pilates and when we work together, we see each other 3 to 4 times per week,” she reveals. Her main focus during the sessions is the whole body workout, but each session aims to target a single group of muscles.

3. Leg Workouts

“We usually start with the foot workout on the reformer and training the legs in every dimension possible,” says Gleyzer. “The thighs contain several muscles. The quadriceps and hamstrings help us bend and extend the hips and knees. The adductors move the legs inward toward each other. The pectineus and sartorius let you flex and rotate the thighs at the hip.”

4. Ab Workouts

“We also do lots of abs with the pilates ball as well as side ups on the Pilates spine corrector. This allows her to get deeper into the muscles while protecting the back,” she says.

5. Upper Body Workouts

Their upper body workouts are done mostly on the Pilates Cadillac, “where we use the roll-down bar to arm and do lots of moves that involve stretching and control,” she says. This includes the The Russian Split that Hudgens demonstrates in Gleyzer’s video.

6. Vanessa “Knows Her Body Well”

“Working with Vanessa is incredible and so easy as she knows her body so well and loves to see results,” concludes Gleyzer.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
