Victoria Silvstedt is a very successful model. She shares a lot of gorgeous photos on her Instagram. Silvstedt recently did a shoot in the Caribbean, and shared a photo from it on her page. In it, she posed on the beach in a green swimsuit and blue button down shirt. Silvstedt’s impressive abs were on display. She captioned it, “Winter Bikini season is on 👙🏝️☀️ 🦋” Here are six things that Silvstedt did to obtain her impressive figure.
She Eats Healthy
Silvstedt makes sure to eat a healthy diet. Her way of doing so is by reducing the amount of bad foods she eats. Silvstedt broke down her typical diet in the caption of this Instagram post. “I get some many questions about how I keep my body in shape ... by eating less refined carbs, sugars and junk food .. the best for me is a well balanced Mediterranean diet.”
She Walks
In the caption of the previous Instagram post, Silvstedt revealed that she takes power walks to keep herself in shape. Harvard Health states that walking has a lot of benefits. “A pair of studies from the University of Exeter found that a 15-minute walk can curb cravings for chocolate and even reduce the amount of chocolate you eat in stressful situations. And the latest research confirms that walking can reduce cravings and intake of a variety of sugary snacks.”
She Does Pilates
Silvstedt also revealed in the post’s caption that Pilates is another thing she does to keep herself in shape. Pilates has a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Some of the principles that guide the Pilates method include concentration on each movement, use of the abdomen and low back muscles, flowing, precise movement patterns and controlled breathing. Depending on the exercise, Pilates routines can be performed on specially designed apparatuses, including a bed-like structure called a reformer, or more simply on a mat or blanket. Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”
She Does Yoga
The third exercise that Silvstedt mentioned she does in her Instagram post caption is yoga. Harvard Health states that yoga has a lot of benefits. “Yoga develops inner awareness. It focuses your attention on your body's abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. It's not about physical appearance. Yoga studios typically don't have mirrors. This is so people can focus their awareness inward rather than how a pose — or the people around them — looks. Surveys have found that those who practiced yoga were more aware of their bodies than people who didn't practice yoga. They were also more satisfied with and less critical of their bodies. For these reasons, yoga has become an integral part in the treatment of eating disorders and programs that promote positive body image and self-esteem.”
She Loves Celery Juice
ShutterstockSilvstedt revealed in an interview with Monaco Life that she likes to make celery juice each morning. “Every morning I have celery juice and hot water and lemon,” she says. “But I swear by the celery juice. I got the idea from my health guru on Instagram, Medical Medium. Let’s see if it works and I live to be 120!”
She Works Hard
Silvstedt makes sure to work hard. She tells Grazia that this comes from her competitive nature. “As a competitive person, I now use competition in my daily life as a way to set goals and never give up. As a result of doing sports and skiing, I learned discipline and how to cope with failure. You can't always be the best. That's okay, but never give up!”
