Vin Diesel has one of the most impressive physiques of all time. His muscles are beyond huge, which makes him the perfect fit for his action-packed roles. Lucky for you, Vin has more than a few go-to fitness tips to share. He posts many of his workout sessions on Instagram and spilled some of his secrets in interviews. From lifting weights to balancing out his routine with cardio, here are five workout tips for building a ripped physique, according to the legend himself, Vin Diesel.

1. Focus On Definition

Vin Diesel shows each part of his body TLC during his training sessions. He told Men's Health that, at this point in his life, it's a top priority.

"When I was younger, I was trying to gain as much weight as possible. Now, I focus on each body part to define it," he shared.

2. Shock the Muscles

In order to achieve muscles as massive as Vin's, plenty of weightlifting is involved. The action star explained to Men's Health that he pushes, or "shocks" his muscles by increasing the amount of weight he lifts.

"I shock the muscle with two sets of power lifting and then go into higher-rep sets afterwards," he said.

3. Work the Core

It should come as no surprise that Vin Diesel has a rock-solid six-pack. How does he keep it sculpted and strong? Well, the Fast & Furious star trains his core directly.

The celeb posted a video on Instagram where he performs ab wheel rollouts. He captioned the post, "Grinding, one rep at a time."

According to PureGym, the ab wheel rollout is especially beneficial for boosting core strength, hip and shoulder mobility, and posture. It also enhances one's ability to activate the core muscles. Your core is constantly working throughout the motion to ensure torso stability. (Get ready to feel the burn.)

4. Round Out Your Workout Routine With Cardio

Any well-rounded workout regimen should strike an ideal balance between strength training and cardio. Vin Diesel clearly knows that. The celeb gets in some of his cardio on the elliptical. He posted an Instagram photo training hard and working up a sweat on the machine.

According to The Cleveland Clinic, the elliptical offers a great full-body workout, helping you build arm, core, and leg muscles. It's also an excellent choice for burning calories.

5. Enjoy Your Workouts

Vin aims to be consistent with his workouts. He shared with Men's Health that his secret is finding ways to enjoy exercise. (Because, let's be honest: If you don't like your workout routine, you're less likely to stick with it.

"You do what you love and it's not work. That's my philosophy," he said. "Shut your mouth, watch your back and keep working 'til your a** falls off." Preach!
