Sarah Dugdale is radiating in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post the Virgin River star is a vision of pure bliss during a trip to the beach in her bathing suit, showing off her amazing body. “You look so happy!” commented one of her followers. “Hermosa,” added another. How the star, who plays Lizzie on the hit Netflix show, approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

1. Her Body Is Her “Tool”

“I try to stay active and eat healthy not only for work, but for my own physical and mental health. My body is my tool, so it’s important to be healthy as a whole in order to do the work I want to do,” Sarah told Casting Frontier.

2. She Does Pilates

Group,Of,People,Doing,The,Mermaid,Pilates,Exercise,Or,SideShutterstock

Sarah loves hopping on the reformer. “I got really into pilates over the last few months,” she told Casting Frontier. According to research, Pilates exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility, and to improve posture and balance. Experts maintain that it is a great workout for leaning out.

3. She Avoids “Restrictive” Diets

You won’t find Sarah on a crash diet. “As far as food goes, I don’t like to be too restrictive about what I eat. Life’s too short to pass on dessert. If I had a mantra, it would be to treat yourself, within reason,” she said.

4. She Goes on Nature Walks

“I think being in nature is very cathartic,” Sarah revealed. “I would say I’m more of a nature walker than a serious hiker. I feel spoiled living in Vancouver and having so many beautiful places to explore.”

5. She Also Hikes

Sarah did admit to Huffington Post that she does hike, as well. “I would say my secret is balance, finding time to relax and hang out with friends. I've been spending a lot of time outdoors this summer, swimming in lakes, going on hikes, and listening to live music,” she said.

6. She Has a Guilty Pleasure

Sarah has one guilty pleasure. “I'm a sucker for Dairy Queen. Peanut buster parfaits are my weakness,” she confessed. Sarah's indulgence in Dairy Queen's Peanut Buster Parfaits highlights the joy of treating oneself. This guilty pleasure, a delightful mix of creamy soft-serve, rich hot fudge, and crunchy peanuts, offers a moment of bliss and comfort, showcasing the psychological benefits of occasionally indulging in favorite foods. Such treats can boost mood, providing a brief escape from daily stresses. However, moderation is key. Balancing these indulgences with a generally healthy diet and active lifestyle ensures that they remain special treats without adversely affecting health. Embracing these moments guilt-free can contribute to a well-rounded, happy life, where small pleasures are savored responsibly.

Kandyse McClure currently plays Kaia Bryant on Virgin River. She has also worked on Hemlock Grove, Ghost Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and The Good Doctor. McClure recently enjoyed a day at the beach, and posted a new photo on Instagram from the trip. In it, she wore a green swimsuit and straw hat, and sat in front of the waves. McClure captioned the post, “Sand. Sun. Sea.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Kandyse McClure stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Spends Time Outside

McClure loves to spend time outside, and talked about this with LenaLaMoray.com. “It’s less about the animals and more about the trees. I do have a scary animal encounter story. I was on, kind of, a safari in South Africa. We got out of the car, near a lake to stretch our legs, and I almost went walking down the beach until I spotted what had to be a ten-foot crocodile. I quickly got back in the car. Especially in South Africa, you run into zebras and all different kinds of deer, elk, and stuff like that. I love dogs. I don’t have one because I travel so much but I’m a big dog lover. I think they bring so much joy and love into peoples’ lives. It’s more just about being near water and trees—just not around concrete.”

2. She Loves Yoga

McClure shared some of her favorite workouts with Women Fitness. She says that she likes to do yoga. “I try and balance strength and flexibility. Both are so important, especially as women get older. I like high intensity interval training and do that three times a week, with a couple of days of hot yoga in between. I love hot yoga and also enjoy taking cold showers afterwards. They make me feel like I can conquer anything the day bring.”

3. She Eats Healthy

McClure tells Women Fitness that she makes sure to eat healthy, and shared some of her favorite foods. “I try and listen to what my body is craving and how I feel after eating certain foods. When I start craving leafy green veggies and raisins I know I need iron for example. Or if I eat something very sweet, I get itchy. Our bodies are constantly in communication with us, we just need to practice listening. Favourite foods? Thats tough. I love all kinds of food! My fridge is embarrassingly full of kimchi, yogurt and pickles though.”

4. She Uses Organic Products

McClure has amazing skin, and she takes care of it. She tells Women Fitness that she uses organic products. “My skin care is really simple actually. Starting with making sure any products or makeup I use is as free of harmful chemicals and additives as possible. I love the African Botanics line, although they are definitely an luxury product. In more simple moments….coconut oil to remove makeup, sea buckthorn oil for breakouts and hyper pigmentation. Argan or rosehip oils for dry or weather beaten skin and a really good scrub and face mask once a week.”

5. She Shows Up For Herself

In her Women Fitness interview, McClure shared her advice for others. She says that the most important thing is showing up for yourself. “There will always be challenges and maybe we don’t always succeed in the way we thought we should or wanted to. That being said, how you show up for yourself, for those you love is what your legacy will be, whatever accolades you achieve. Be gentle with yourself and do better tomorrow. Apologize when you’re wrong but don’t beat yourself up about it.”

1923 star Michelle Randolph took advantage of the September sun to get into a swimsuit and have fun with her friends—and also celebrate her birthday! Randolph, 26, shared pictures of herself posing on the beach in a bikini, against a background of grass and gray autumn skies. “I want to jump in every picture,” commented her sister Cassie Randolph. “🥹🥹🥹,” commented co-star Julia Schlaepfer. How does the actress keep busy and focused both when she’s working and during down time? Here’s how Randolph does it.

1. Filming In Montana

Los,Angeles,-,Jan,14:,Michelle,Randolph,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Randolph enjoyed working in Montana and exploring nature. “I loved Montana – it was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been,” she says. “I was thankfully there at the best time of year so I got all the good seasons! I got there in August and it was sunny and 80 degrees. It was perfect weather from August to October, and then it started to feel really nice in the fall in November. Then, when it got really cold, I got two weeks of snow and was able to go home. Montana really was one of the coolest places to film because we were able to spend so much time on our off days exploring as well.”

2. Cassie Randolph’s Sister

Animal welfare is important to Randolph, and something she focuses on with the help of her sister Cassie Randolph (of The Bachelor fame). “I’m a cat lady. I’ve had cats my whole life and fostered for many years,” she says. “My three cats are foster fails. Shelters are overflowing with animals that need homes and I think when people are searching for a pet, rescuing should be their intention. I am very passionate about this. Basically, I started ‘House Cat’ to channel some of that passion into something productive. With my schedule, ‘House Cat’ gives me a way to support these organizations and their causes even when I am not home. It’s impossible to ignore the amount of financial and physical help rescues and shelters need. My sister Cassie and one of my best friends, Chandler, work on it with me and we hope to continue growing it.”

3. Meditating In Nature

Beautiful,Girl,Meditating,Looking,At,The,Beautiful,LandscapeShutterstock

Randolph loves the peace and quiet of being in Montana. “Montana was an adjustment, but I think we were so present and busy the whole time that I just fell in love with it completely,” she says. “I mean, we were riding horses on our off days and spending time together. I actually have gone back and forth about [the idea of what place I feel suits me most] a lot. I kind of confuse myself. I love cities, I love the hustle and bustle and how everything is available and right there. At the same time, I think I am happiest, not to sound cliché, but when I’m in nature. It just feels like you’re taking a step back and the real priorities in life are health and wellness and you can meditate and not hear cars honking [laughs]! I do think it’s a balance. I could spend 6 months in Montana and then I need 6 months in the city too. I’d like to think of myself as a well-rounded person in that regard.”

4. Cowboy Lifestyle

Randolph went to “cowboy camp” with the rest of the Yellowstone and 1883 casts. “I really fell in love with Montana. We shot for about 5 months and spent just as much time together off set as we did on set,” she says. “I feel so lucky to have made such great friends with the cast and crew. I think that is one of the best parts about shooting on location. The most memorable days were when we shot the large exterior scenes and had the horses and wranglers with us. Before we started filming, we did ‘cowboy camp’ and all learned how to ride, rope, etc. Being in Montana throughout filming gave us the chance to embrace and embody that lifestyle.”

5. Family First

Randolph pulled from her real life to help play the character of Elizabeth Strafford in 1923. “We are all very close and very family-oriented,” she says. “I spend so much time with my family. We are all very loyal to each other and we put each other first. My family really values quality time with each other which is something that I learned from my mom and her sisters being really close. It doesn’t necessarily come naturally. Your family knows you; You can be your most authentic, horrible self to them [laughs], but to make a choice and be pleasant and spend quality time is something that is not just second nature. So, that’s something that runs like gasoline through my family!”

KeleighSperryNina Dobrev/Instagram

Sperry spends a lot of time outside. She shares a lot of outdoor photos on her Instagram page. She shared these photos on Instagram from a trip to Tahoe. In them, she enjoyed time on a boat, and went on walks. Sperry also enjoys the cold weather. She shared this photo and video on Instagram of herself playing in the snow. "Whether it is a park in your neighborhood or exploring the vast landscapes of national forests and grasslands, there are benefits to be had when we step outside," says the Forest Service. “Wellness is wholistic in that it is comprised of physical and mental health as well as the health of our communities,” Michelle Kondo, a research social scientist with the USDA Forest Service's Northern Research Station, told them. “All of these benefits add up and reduce adverse impacts on our bodies, and have restorative characteristics. So get outdoors and enjoy nature’s gift of wellness.”

2. She Swims

Sperry does a lot of outdoor physical activities to stay in shape. One thing she loves to do is go swimming. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself snorkeling with a whale. She captioned it, “Whale watching.” Sperry also posted this photo of herself and Teller in the water. She captioned it, “All I need in this life of sin.”

3. She Goes Rafting

She captioned it, “This is my friend @kseniya__stone, after spending the last few days and nights with her in just absolute despair, devastating call after call. Hearing from her family stuck in Ukraine, was absolutely heartbreaking. Ukrainians are strong and United while facing this unreal war. If Ukraine stops fighting there will be no Ukraine. One of the tragic yet beautiful calls from her sibling who was trying to flee and stay with her family, was going to go back in and fight to stand strong against PUTIN. That’s the character and moral of Ukrainians. Women refusing to leave as their husbands prepare to fight back. They are beautiful and strong, this will be the biggest refugee situation this century. Please donate, and to @kseniya__stone we stand with you, we stand with Ukraine.”

5. She Bikes

Another outdoor activity Sperry enjoys doing is going on bike rides. She likes to go riding with Teller at times. Sperry posted this photo of the two of them riding at the Mt. Batur Volcano in Bali on Instagram. She captioned it, “Trekking the world with you.”

Yellowstone and 1883 star Dawn Olivieri is busy goat herding in a bikini and cowboy hat (what else would she be wearing right?) and sharing the pictures online. Olivieri, 42, posted a snap of herself posing in a swimsuit next to one of her adorable little goats. “You can take the girl out of Florida but good luck getting the Florida outa that girl. #workbikini #ifyoucantbeattheheatjoinit #Goatrich #farmingissexy #knowingwhereyourfoodcomesfromisevensexier. Just add cowboy hat.” she captioned the post. Olivieri is passionate about animal welfare—here are her other rules for life.

1. Working Out In Nature

Los,Angeles,-,Apr,01:,Dawn,Olivieri,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Olivieri loves nothing more than exercising outdoors in the fresh air. Her workouts vary between hiking, weight training, and running on the beach when she’s not in a gym with her trainer. "I tend to be most inspired to work out within a location that contains something impressive," she says. "The mountains, a sunrise, a sunset, a waterfall, the ocean. You can pull energy from them while you do your exercises."

2. Self-Love and La Mer

Shutterstock

Olivieri says the number one beauty product all women should have is self love. “But if you already have that, do the best to alkalize your body,” she says. “And if you're doing that already, then one of those tubs of La Mer will do the job. I’m deep into the Tata Harper line at the moment. 100% natural, organic, and nontoxic. The SK-II mask is a great one as well. I give myself facial massages when I’m putting it on. Makes a difference.”

3. Beach Volleyball

Beach,Volleyball.,Game,Ball,Under,Sunlight,And,Blue,Sky.Shutterstock

Olivieri loves staying active and having fun while doing so. “I am an outside junkie, so anything involving fresh air, sign me up!” she says. “I shy away from gyms, but love getting a workout the old-fashioned way, sport style, so playing beach volleyball is a big one. Hiking, camping, and a little rock climbing is something I am just starting to get into. I love working with animals, painting, playing the guitar, photography, watching movies, and of course working! I realize how lucky I am to be able to say that.”

4. Relating To Sarah Atwood

Gray,Word,Kinship,From,Small,Wooden,Letters,On,A,GreenShutterstock

Olivieri feels a kinship with her Yellowstone character Sarah Atwood. “The reason I was cast to play this role is probably because I am like this in real life,” she says. “I don't go and try to ruin legacy ranches or anything, but I might go and ruin a perspective on life -- in the name of something better. Who's to say Sarah isn't thinking the same way, and who's to say that it isn't better what she is advocating for?”

5. Introvert Lifestyle

Olivieri is introverted when she’s not working. “I think when you're a showman or there's some element of that inside of you, you have two ways you can go: You can get shy and introverted and pull away or you can just go for it,” she says. “And I think that's what happens to me. In my real life, I'm a bit more introverted. I don't have a big circle of friends; I'm not out going to parties all the time. I really like to be at home reading books and just sticking to myself, playing in the garden, or what have you. But when I work, I perform for everybody.”

Dani Elle Speegle isn’t just strong—she’s unstoppable. The elite CrossFit athlete and social media sensation has built a massive following by sharing her intense training sessions and inspiring fitness moments. Recently, she posted a series of weightlifting photos on Instagram, proving once again why she’s a powerhouse in the gym.

“Just a girl and her barbell,” she captioned the post, letting her strength do the talking. From lifting heavy to outdoor adventures, here’s how Speegle stays in peak condition.

She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram post, Speegle is seen lifting weights. According to ACE Fitness, doing this has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

She Golfs

Speegle likes to golf to keep herself in shape. She shared a video of herself on the course in this Instagram post. According to Randa aerobic exercise. “Golf can help strength and balance, improve quality of life and provide aerobic exercise. On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”

She's Into Jumping Rope

Speegle shared this video on Instagram of herself competing in Crossfit events. In it, she is seen jumping rope. According to The Cleveland Clinic, jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “Benefits of jump rope can help improve your coordination, get your heart rate going and help burn calories — and it’s an easy, affordable way to get some cardio in.”

She Hikes

Speegle likes to hike to keep herself in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself hiking the Koko Head Summit. Speegle captioned the post, “Woke up and chose pain today. Every 45 min X 3 rounds: Koko head 💀💀💀 Then sat in my car and stared into the abyss while munching on Banan 🥲🥲🥲”

She Does Cold Plunges

Speegle makes sure to recover. One thing she likes to do is cold plunges. Speegle shared this video of herself jumping into a tub. According to The Mayo Clinic, these have a lot of benefits. “Research on cold-water immersion has found evidence that it helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage that can occur after physically challenging activities. Less damage leads to less inflammation, which in turn reduces soreness and helps restore physical performance the next day. These benefits may be the result of rapid constriction of the blood vessels due to the cold water. The cold can trigger responses in your body, such as decreased metabolic activity, alterations in hormone production and blood flow, and activation of the immune system.”

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises

Discover how Tvesa Malik, SuperSport Ladies Championship winner, stays in peak shape with weightlifting, core work, and golf.

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises
Tvesa Malik / Instagram

Tvesa Malik isn’t just a pro golfer—she’s a powerhouse athlete dedicated to staying in peak shape. The SuperSport Ladies Championship winner knows that strength and endurance are just as important as skill on the course. That’s why she takes her fitness seriously, incorporating weightlifting, core work, and mobility exercises into her training.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. Here’s a closer look at how Malik keeps her body strong and ready for competition.

She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Lunges

Malik is seen shifting into lunges in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

She Golfs

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

Camila Guper in Two-Piece Workout Gear Cheers on "Consistent Actions"
Camila Guper / Instagram

Camila Guper is more than just a fitness influencer—she’s a motivation powerhouse. With 1.1 million Instagram followers, she inspires her audience with workout routines, wellness tips, and a disciplined approach to staying fit. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her latest gym session, including a stairclimber workout, a snapshot of her Apple Watch tracking her progress, and a post-workout mirror selfie in pink workout gear.

Her message? Consistency is key. “Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions! Every effort is worth it when you know where you want to go,” she captioned the post. From intense stair workouts to leg-sculpting exercises, here’s how Guper stays in top shape.

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness says, “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

Guper makes sure to stay consistent with her workout routines. One way she does so is by staying disciplined. Guper talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Good morning! May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”
