Kayla Simmons is having some fun in the sun in her swimsuit. In a few recent social media posts the college volleyball star shows off her fat tummy in a bathing suit while on vacation. “Perfect day,” she captioned an Instagram Story of herself lounging around in a swim top. In another post she swims in the ocean. How does the athlete approach physical and mental health? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle tips.

1. Go Snorkeling

Kayla spends a lot of time in the ocean swimming and snorkeling. “Happy world oceans day,” she captioned a post of herself snorkeling. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits of putting on a mask and fin may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

2. Hang Ten

Kayla enjoys surfing, a water sport with lots of health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthen from the paddling, and leg and core strength. “Once you’re standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up,” the Australian government’s Better Health says.

3. Read

You can find Kayla curled up in bed with a good book when she has some down time. “Cozy,” she captioned a post of herself reading. Why is reading a healthy habit? One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

4. Take a Hike

Kayla also likes to hike “Hawaii has my heart,” she captioned this photo from one of her hikes. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

5. An “All Natural” Body

Kayla, the “world’s sexiest volleyball player,” blasted plastic surgery rumors during a Q&A on YouTube. “I got zero silicone. I’m all natural, I’m sick of answering that one, but yeah,” Simmons responded when asked, “How much silicone did you get?”

1. Taylor Hill Loves Her Body

Paris,,France,-,November,30:,Taylor,Hill,Walks,The,RunwayShutterstock

"I used to hate my body, and I thought I was really ugly," Taylor told Byrdie. "I was so not confident, and becoming a model—and especially a VS girl—has changed my perspective on who I am. It's kind of given me a new light: You're beautiful no matter what you look like, no matter what body type you have. I always envied curvy women because I wasn't that. The grass is always greener, and you'll always have to deal with that. But being a model has helped me embrace my body type. It's hard on some girls, but it actually helped me a lot."

2. Taylor Hill Exercises

Paris,,France,-,November,30:,Taylor,Hill,Walks,The,RunwayShutterstock

Taylor mixes up her workouts. “I do mainly light weight-lifting and squats when I’m in the gym. My favorite place is Dogpound in NYC,” Taylor revealed to Harper’s Bazaar about her sweat sessions. “But I also do some yoga, pilates and crossfit. It’s important to switch things up so that your body doesn’t get too used to anything.”

3. Taylor Hill Doesn’t Believe in Diets

Stop,Dieting,Red,Sign,With,Sun,BackgroundShutterstock

“I actually don’t stick to any diets, but I eat everything in moderation. Plus, exercising regularly is very important,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. Hr favorite meals? “When I’m in Paris, I always have Japanese udon. And pizzas in New York. I also love spaghetti, and basically everything when I’m in Italy.”

4. Taylor Hills Reads

Brunette,Woman,In,Warm,Sweater,And,Socks,Reading,Book,SittingShutterstock

In her recent post, Taylor shows off the latest book she is reading. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

5. Taylor Hill Works Out with a Personal Trainer

Female,Personal,Trainer,,With,His,Back,Facing,The,Camera,,LookingShutterstock

Taylor enlists the help of a personal trainer to achieve her goals. "I have to use a trainer because I cheat in classes," she told Byrdie. "I'm a natural-born cheater. I cheat on everything—I cheated on tests (don't tell my teachers), I cheat workouts, I eat whatever I want! So I just needed someone to watch me and make sure I'm doing it correctly. When I have an hour, I want to give everything I have to that hour, like, really work out.”

6. Sara Sampaio Does Pilates

Paris,,France,-,November,30:,Sara,Sampaio,Walks,The,RunwayShutterstock

Sara likes an amped up version of pilates. “I've been doing a lot of SLT. It’s like a really intense Pilates with a machine. I’ve noticed with my body that small movements have done more for my body than the boot camps. My body moves better when it’s very focused on small movements that elongate your body and your muscles,” she told The Cut. “I tried SLT for the first time five or six years ago when I first got to New York. It was really hard, it was too hard. Then I was training for the Victoria’s Secret show last year and gave it another try. I really liked it, it was not as hard. I think they had changed it a little bit. I could actually go through a whole class without feeling like I was going to break down.”

7. Shanina Shaik Works Out with Personal Trainers

London,,England,-,December,02:,Victoria's,Secret,Model,Shanina,ShaikShutterstock

Shanina relies on personal trainers to keep her in runway model form. “I have a few favorite trainers whom I’ve enjoyed following over some time now, including Melissa Wood, Megan Roup of Sculpt Society, and Shannon Nadj of Hot Pilates. It’s extremely motivating to follow their workouts, even from the comfort of home. I usually gravitate toward workouts that incorporate a lot of Pilates. My favorite moves are making small circles and stretching your legs with ankle bands. Lastly, I like to use a resistance band, pointing your feet and pulsing up and down; it’s great for the inner and outer thighs,” Shanina revealed to Hum Nutrition.

8. Kelsey Merritt Does Two a Days

New,York,,Ny,-,February,05:,Kelsey,Merritt,Attends,TheShutterstock

Kelsey works out not once, but twice a day. "The past few months I've been working out everyday—and sometimes twice a day. This past week I did pilates, if I feel good then I'll do 30 minutes of cardio. I always make sure to put cardio in my workouts. I'll do SoulCycle, then I'll go on the treadmill. I will do strength training with a personal trainer at Dogpound,” she told Elle.

9. Jasmine Tookes Balances Diet with Exercise

New,York,,Ny,-,November,13:,Model,Jasmine,Tookes,WalksShutterstock

Jasmine fuels her workouts with food. “I love to eat tons of food with lots of carbs. I balance it with working out. But generally, I try to be very clean and eat healthy, and always have a lot of protein. I do have a lot of cheat days. I feel like you should be able to eat what you want,” she told The Cut. One of her cheat meals? “I love to have hot wings and French fries,” she said.

Hailey eats as plant-based as possible, because it makes her feel good."I tried a plant-based diet for two months during quarantine," she told Harper's Bazaar. "I felt great and I had a lot of energy, but it was not for me. I don't eat a strictly plant-based diet and I do still eat meat. I just don't eat a lot of it. I've picked up more fish, greens, and lentils." Her diet involves "a lot of vegetables and fish, not much meat, minimal dairy,” she told Byrdie. "I just feel better when I eat that way."

11. Alessandra Ambrosio Allows Herself to Indulge

Paris,,France,-,November,30:,Alessandra,Ambrosio,Walks,The,RunwayShutterstock

Alessandra used to go to extremes to stay in shape, but avoids dieting now. "After having Anja I only had three months to lose all the weight [before doing the 2008 Victoria's Secret show] and I was on this 1,200-calorie-a-day meal-delivery service that I hated. I couldn't do that again," she told The Edit. "Whenever I start to diet, everything goes downhill,” she added. “So if I want a little bite of dark chocolate on a plane or a cocktail with friends on the weekend, I'll have it. In fact, I'll drink a glass of red wine with dinner most nights, and two or three times a week I'll have a cup of tea and a cupcake with Anja, who's as obsessed with red velvet as I am.”

12. Candice Swanepoel Has a “Balanced” Approach to Wellness

London,,England,-,December,02:,Victoria's,Secret,Model,Candice,SwanepoelShutterstock

Candice focuses on upholding a balanced lifestyle. “It’s being happy and healthy. I don’t like restrict myself from certain foods that I want, or kill myself at the gym. It’s really what’s comfortable for my body at the time and what’s best at that moment,” she told The Cut.

13. Kelly Gale Eats Clean and Exercises

Paris,,France,-,November,30:,Kelly,Gale,Walks,The,RunwayShutterstock

Kelly tries to exercise daily. “Usually on my days off, and sometimes before going to set – I end up heading to pilates, boxing or jump rope and when that gets boring, I go rock climbing with friends or find some other activity we can tackle,” she revealed to V Magazine, adding to Grazia that she works out “for a few hours” and does “a lot” of walking. She also eats clean.“My diet generally consists of fresh, organic produce (all veggies, nuts, seafood, occasional eggs and lots of raw vegan dark chocolate) and superfoods everyday such as chlorella and spirulina. If I ever need an immune booster I have tons of ginger, tumeric and baobab,” she said. It “takes a while to get used to healthier foods if you’re used to eating crap, or if you have been brought up eating a certain kind of way,” she admitted. “To me, almost everything clean and healthy taste good and you can always play around and make it taste even better.” Another way she sets herself up for healthy eating success is preparation. “When I’m traveling, I always bring a big variety of healthy snacks and superfoods – usually opting for vegetables and fish or seafood when ordering food or on set.”

14. Izabel Goulart Juices

London,,England,-,December,02:,Victoria's,Secret,Model,Izabel,GoulartShutterstock

Izabel drinks a lot of juices. “The first thing I do in the morning is prepare fresh juice. I have 15 different recipes, which I drink for 15 days consecutively. Then I repeat the recipes from the beginning for the next 15 days of the month. My juices include fruit, vegetables, leafy greens, and even grains. After a workout, I have a protein drink and always keep a protein bar in my bag," she told Vogue.

I’ve worked out with her for two years and I really like the results,” she told Vogue. “I used to always box and run, and with boxing, I would build a lot of muscle. After I had my son [Phyllon, age 3½], I started doing ballet. It makes you long and lean—it’s like the Pilates look.”

Volleyball star Kayla Simmons is giving fans a look at what her June was like, via social media posts. Simmons, 28, shared highlights of the month, including one picture of her wearing black yoga pants and a pink sports bra, posing for a mirror selfie. “June favs 💚🤠☀️🌊🌸🏐,” she captioned the post. The athlete and content creator is taking it slow due to a torn ACL, but she’s still saying active. Here’s what Simmons does to stay fit, strong, and the center of attention.

1. Squats, Squats, Squats

Kayla Simmons.1Kayla Simmons/Instagram

Simmons is always doing squats, sometimes adding weights and resistance bands. Squats are one of the most effective exercises for a strong and toned lower body. “One of the best things you can do is practice the squat,” exercise physiologist Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, tells Piedmont Health. “It’s probably the most functional exercise,” he explains, “and the one that you probably need most in your life.”

2. Swimming

Simmons loves to swim, and is passionate about conservation issues. The beach-lover frequently posts pictures of herself underwater. “Happy world oceans day🦈. Our oceans are threatened by pollution, overfishing & climate change. The ocean covers 70% of our planet, but only 8% is protected. Let’s all do what we can to make a difference 💙,” she captioned an Instagram post.

3. Weight Training

Kayla Simmons.4Kayla Simmons/Instagram

Simmons does weight training sessions as part of her workout regimen, which helps burn fat even when she’s resting. “The ideal is every other day, or 3 times a week,” says British Weight Lifting. “This allows your body to rest and ‘repair’ itself, and it is during this time that the muscle increases.”

4. Resistance Bands

Kayla Simmons.3Kayla Simmons/Instagram

Simmons frequently uses resistance bands in her workouts, which give her exercises an extra boost. “Resistance bands might not look like much, but they can strengthen your muscles as effectively as more traditional weights,” exercise physiologist Christopher Travers, MS, tells the Cleveland Clinic. “In many ways, bands put more tension on your muscles and work them longer during movements.”

5. Healthy Breakfast

Simmons loves a healthy protein-packed breakfast, with eggs, tomatoes, and coffee on the menu. “You might have noticed that eating eggs for breakfast may keep you feeling fuller for longer — that’s generally attributed to the high protein content in eggs,” says Keck Medicine of USC. “Whether you have an omelet for breakfast or a hard-boiled egg as a snack, eggs can help you stay satisfied after or between meals.”

From Simone Biles to Carli Lloyd, who believes in balance and occasional indulgence, each athlete brings their unique approach to their respective sports. Misty May-Treanor's rigorous exercises, Kerri Walsh-Jennings' focus on recovery, and Serena Williams' varied workouts all demonstrate the dedication required to reach the pinnacle of their fields. As they share their secrets to success, it becomes clear that physical fitness, mental strength, and self-care are essential components of their journeys.

1. Simone Biles

Simone Biles isn’t just a great athlete, she’s also an advocate for survivors. She opened up about testifying against Larry Nassar on Today. “For so many years to go through everything that I’ve gone through, put on a front, I’m proud of myself, and I’m happy that I can be a leader for the survivors and bring courage to everybody speaking up, so I’m happy to be a voice for them.”

2. Misty May-Treanor

Gold medalist beach volleyball player, Misty May-Treanor shared some of her favorite exercises in an interview with Women Fitness. “I love olympic lifting (cleans, jerks, snatches), squatting and explosive jump drills. I also implement track and hill workouts with a running instructor. Pilates helps me maintain a strong and healthy core since that is important in our sport. Since I am not the tallest player out there at times, my jump has to be strong from the very match to the very last match. Recovery is equally as important to the lifting as well and that comprises of massage, ice baths, and stretching.”

3. Kerri Walsh-Jennings

LA2028 & Delta Announce Sponsorship DealJoe Scarnici/Getty Images

Olympic gold medalist, Kerri Walsh-Jennings, opened up about her approach to training in an interview with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “When at home, we will have double and triple days all the time. When I get into competition, I want to be fresh and play good volleyball. It is like a mental game. For me, I am going to try something new, add another workout and see how I feel. You need to be humble enough to keep it and push through, or if to much, adjust. It is so important to listen to your body and sometimes the hardest work you have to do is chill out and recover and fine tune.”

4. April Ross

Bronze-medal winning beach volleyball player, April Ross, opened up about her diet to Today. She says that there’s one thing she makes sure to cut out of her diet. "Sugar is so bad for your body. If you drink soda, the sugar causes inflammation. And it's bad for your joints, so, as an athlete, your joints are going to be more inflamed and you're going to be more prone to injury.”

5. Gabby Douglas

Gabby Douglas tells HollywoodLife that she does a variety of things to keep herself in shape. “I’m used to doing the same thing every single day, whereas now I get to switch it up. Like, today we’ll do HIIT. Today we’ll do trampoline. Today we’ll do a dance workout. Today we’ll just dive in and it’s been fun even to be creative with myself, coming up with workouts that I find enjoyable because I believe you should be having fun when you workout. I love hard work and I love to sweat but at the same time though, you should love what you do.”

6. Serena Williams

54th NAACP Image Awards - ArrivalsFrazer Harrison/Getty Images

Serena Williams is considered one of the greatest athletes of all time. One of her secrets for staying fit is doing a variety of workouts. “For me, it's so important to mix it up,” she told Fitness Magazine. “I ran, and then I biked. Then I did elliptical. That didn't work out so well, because it was boring, so I tried yoga. I started dancing because I couldn't train when I was sick. We started making up moves, and it was fun. Now I run for 10 minutes, and then I dance.”

7. Venus Williams

Tennis legend Venus Williams opened up about her decision to go on a plant-based diet with The Beet. “When I was diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome back in 2011, I had to make some major lifestyle changes in order to put my health first. After trying everything the doctor suggested, I continued to experience muscle and joint pain, and constant fatigue. But when I started exploring a plant-based diet to help reduce my inflammation and support my immune system, I loved the way it made me feel, so I kept going.”

8. Julie Johnston ErtzUS Women’s Soccer Team star, Julie Johnston Ertz opened up about her exercise routine with Prevention. “I think core is really important,” she says. “Cause it’s the center of your body. Core machines are great but I do everything on the floor. If I’m doing a plank, I like to do step outs with my feet. I like to elevate even a little more."Alex MorganIn addition to taking care of her body, Alex Morgan also takes care of her mind. She shared how she manages any anxiousness with The Beet. “I tell myself: ‘Take a breath and enjoy the journey I'm going on now.’ It's overwhelming to think about going somewhere in the future, so I am living in the now and remembering to breathe.Candace ParkerWNBA champion Candace Parker talked about how she approaches basketball with SBNation.com. “I think simplicity has always been difficult for me. I think physically because you know, I’ve been versatile and have played multiple positions. I think simplicity was always, you know, me dribbling and me doing this and whatever. And now I’ve just learned that simplicity is key, doing things with the least amount of motion is going to benefit me greatly. So I think that is the biggest thing to me is just yes, I can dribble and do that, but it’s more beneficial for me to be able to do it with less motion.”Nastia LiukinOlympic gymnast, Nastia Liukin, shared some of her wellness tips with Today. "I think the most important thing to know is, you'll never regret a workout when it's over. And it's just hard to tell yourself that before you've done it. But just try to remember how you feel after your workout, and know that when you feel good, you look good, and you have more confidence, and so I think that that's really important."Shawn JohnsonWhile expecting her first child, Shawn Johnson and her husband Andrew East did a lot of workouts together. She told Us Weekly, “We always thought [when we were] dating that we were going to be that couple that works out together, but we really can’t work out together because he says I’m too intense. And then I got pregnant, and then we’re matched now, my intensity. So we work out now that I’m pregnant, which is funny.” Adds the gold medalist, “Hey, gymnasts are intense.”Jordyn WieberGymnast Jordyn Wieber told StyleCaster that she struggled with insecurities growing up.“The older I got, the more I realized my body can do amazing things that not a lot of other kids at my school could do,” Wieber says. “So I tried my best to embrace that, and once I made the Olympics team, I was like, ‘Woah! OK. Now I know where you are all the time.’ I started to appreciate my muscles a lot more rather than thinking my body was not as good as the other girls in my school because I looked different than them.”Carli LloydCarli Lloyd opened up about her diet to NJ.com. She says that while she eats healthy, she also believes in indulging once in a while. “Well, I rarely eat carbs, like pasta, pizza or bread, or fried, greasy foods. They just don't make me feel good. But I do enjoy stopping at my favorite pizza place in Philly!...Only every now and then, and only in moderation.”Lindsey VonnLindsey Vonn tells Women’s Health that when she was competing in skiing, she wanted to break the mold. "I was always just myself,” she says. “You can be strong and feminine and opinionated and wear makeup and do all those things at the same time. You don't have to be the stereotypical athlete. You can be different. There's no limit to what opportunities are out there [for you], you just have to go get them."Lindsey JacobellisLindsey Jacobellis opened up about what exercises she likes to do on the road in an interview with Women Fitness. “On the road workouts can be challenging when gyms are hard to find, but not impossible. 1. Walking lunges with dumbbells 2. Single leg RDL (Russian dead lifts) 3. Hanging leg raises 4.Traditional or wide leg back squats 5. Bent over single arm rows (These exercises can be done when there are limited weights to work with in a hotel gym.)”Mirai NagasuFigure skater Mirai Nagasu opened up about her mindset for competitions in an interview with TeamUSA.com. “I just want to believe in myself, and, I know it’s the cheesiest thing to say, but believe in that 5-year-old girl who started this dream,” she said. “I know I’m mentally strong. I went to the Olympics when I was 16 and ended up in fourth place, beating all these people who were beating me consistently. I know it’s within me. I just have to pull it out at the right moment.”Carissa MooreCarissa Moore shared some of her favorite workouts in an interview with Balance The Grind. “I work out with my trainer three times each week, and we do a lot of circuit training. I don’t actually use too many weights; it’s mostly body weight. I train to make sure I can get in the water and do what I love every day. I love burpees, skaters and mountain climbers. I do intervals, like 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off. My regimen is always changing, because I get bored if it’s the same workout. Each week I go to Pilates once and I usually go for a run twice.”Tia BlancoTia Blanco shared some of her favorite wellness products with POPSugar. She says that she owns a juicer, and puts it to good use. “I love to go to the farmers' market and load up on a bunch of local produce in season that is great for juicing," she says. "I always find myself juicing celery, lemon, apples, and parsley. Sometimes I will do shots of turmeric and ginger to spice things up."Louise HazelLouise Hazel opened up about her diet in an interview with WhoWhatWear. "I grab a banana and a bottle of water and a bowl of gluten-free muesli with almond milk. I recently found out that I am lactose intolerant using a DNAFit test, and I would recommend this to anyone who is taking their health and fitness seriously. It will give you a blueprint from which to make informed decisions about your diet and fitness regimen."

There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

5. She Works Out Hard

Kayla spends a lot of time in the gym and her workouts are no joke. She recently shared one of her circuit. “My trainer @thebank_fitcamp and I have been making some daily deposits y’all. 🤭 And the proof is in the gains. Knock out this quad/glute/ab circuit 3-4 times, 10-15 reps each exercise. And let me know if you want to cuss somebody out at the end too! P.S. We’re dropping a new training program next month - so more fire work outs like this soon come,” she captioned the post.

In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Another thing that Wahlberg is seen eating in his TikTok is olive oil. According to The Cleveland Clinic, olive oil has a lot of health benefits. “EVOO contains more than 20 types of polyphenols, a category of plant-based chemical compounds that help protect your heart and reduce inflammation throughout your body. Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”
