1. She Dances

Nara’s recent dancing is giving her a lot of health benefits. Better Health states, “It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including: improved condition of your heart and lungs, increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness, increased aerobic fitness, improved muscle tone and strength, weight management.”

2. She Eats Bananas

Nara makes sure to eat healthy. According to this post on Instagram, she eats bananas. According to The Cleveland Clinic, bananas are a great food to eat. “With 3 grams (g) of fiber, a banana supplies nearly 10% of what you need in a day, based on a 2,000-calorie daily diet, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) dietary guidelines.”

3. She Bikes

Nara likes to bike ride to stay in shape. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself biking on the beach in the Maldives. Nara captioned the post, “How far can you go on a bike?” A Healthier Michigan states that biking has a lot of benefits, including strengthening muscles. “When you’re pedaling, you can feel it working your calves, your quads and your glutes. These are all big muscles and working these out regularly can have big benefits not only for calorie counting, but also for stronger, leaner legs.”

4. She Swims

Nara loves to swim to stay in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself by the beach. Nara posted this photo on Instagram of herself in the pool. According to The Cleveland Clinic, swimming has a lot of benefits. “Cardio activity is one of the keys to a healthy heart, and swimming’s cardiovascular benefits are clear. It’s been shown to: Improve cholesterol levels. Reduce blood pressure. Lower your risk of heart disease.”

5. She Wants To Inspire Her Kids

Nara opened up about her decision to appear on the show in an interview. Nara was diagnosed with leukemia, and wanted to push through it. She says that she wanted to inspire her kids to push through things. “When they invited me to be on ‘Dancing with the Stars’, obviously the situation was more stable. Before signing the contract, I asked the doctors whether I could accept while receiving treatment. They told me ‘yes, 100 per cent, do it’. This experience, especially the younger ones who did not understand what was happening to their mum. They will feel like everything is fine. I’m dancing to show that I’m fine.”
