What 'Friends' Alum Courteney Cox Eats in a Day To Maintain a Lean Body

Let's be real: Doesn't everyone think of Monica Geller as their "friend?" Courteney Cox is one of the most notable TV stars of all time. She's best known for her role as the Friends icon, starring alongside Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc), and Chandler Bing (the late Matthew Perry). We all wanted to be a roommate in the series!

Monica was the chef in the group. Remember when she made her legendary "Tiki Death Punch" and showed a restaurant how she prepared a delicious tomato sauce? Monica was always casually whipping up lasagna, too. And who could forget Friendsgiving dinner?

The actress includes plenty of fresh veggies in her diet. In fact, she posted Instagram videos preparing creamy cauliflower soup (complete with truffle oil) and a veggie-packed stir-fry with chicken.

Courteney shared with New You, "Luckily, some of my favorite foods in the world are vegetables. I just love kale, spinach, broccoli, asparagus. Anything green I crave."

She Eats a Lot of Protein

Courteney's diet is packed with many sources of protein. She's prepared dishes like steak au poivre, Korean chicken (and waffles), her own version of In-N-Out's burger, and meatloaf.

In an interview with The Kitchn, the celeb shared, "I generally don't eat breakfast. I occasionally have a protein shake. For lunch, most likely I will have turkey roll-ups which consist of Boar's Head turkey, mayonnaise, mustard, Havarti cheese, avocado, Fritos, and pepper. Dinner is my favorite meal of the day. I love to cook steak and broccoli."

She Loves Making Juice

Courteney also prepares fresh juices. She told Marie Claire, "I would find a way to get a juicer and do it. Now, I am doing the cucumber, pineapple, ginger, and lemon thing. I don't know if it's cleaning my gut, but it's a way to get something liquid down because it's hard for me to drink water."
