Witney Carson In Swimsuit Top Is Going To “The Keys”

The pro dancer enjoyed a boat day in Florida

Witney Carson first made waves in 2012, as a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance. The following year, she joined the troupe of Dancing With The Stars, and became a pro the following year. Witney notably won the 19th season with partner Alfonso Ribeiro, and went viral for her lift with partner Danny Amendola on the 33rd season. She recently enjoyed a boat and beach day in the Florida Keys with her husband and friends. In an Instagram post from the day, Witney is seen in a blue and white striped bikini top and gray workout pants, as well as a black bikini with white trim. She captioned the post, “Highly suggest going to the Keys with your friends.”

She Eats Healthy

Witney opened up about her diet in an interview with People. “It’s all about being healthy on the inside that matters and getting whole foods to keep you happy and energized,” she said. “If you think starving yourself is the way to go, it’s not. Actually, the more healthy foods you eat, the faster your metabolism gets – therefore you burn more calories.”

She Drinks Enough Water

In addition to eating healthy foods, Witney makes sure to stay hydrated each day. She tells People that she makes sure to drinka  lot of water. “The most important thing is to drink as much water as you can throughout the day – it will keep your skin healthy, your body healthy, and your mind. Nothing feels as good as being healthy does!”

She Runs

After having her second child, Witney documented her post-partum weight loss journey on TikTok. In this video, she is seen going for a jog. Witney captioned the video, “Feeling strong, amazing what our bodies can do! Let’s go mamas, I feel you!” Running is a great way to stay in shape. FloTrack says that it can help with weight loss. “Just like other forms of exercise, running burns calories while working out. The additional perk about running, though, is you can continue to burn calories even after you stop. The ‘afterburn’ continues to burn calories after your run.”

She Does Cold Plunges

Witney is also seen doing a cold plunge on her balcony in the previous TikTok. According to research from The Cleveland Clinic, they can have a lot of benefits. “As long as you’re in good health and don’t have any underlying conditions (more on that in a moment), cold plunges may bring some relief to your sore muscles, improve circulation and even help with sleep.”

She Lifts Weights

Witney loves lifting weights to keep herself in shape. In the previous TikTok video, she is seen doing kettlebell swings. According to research from ACE Fitness, using weights has a lot of benefits. “Using maximal loads for compound (multi-joint) movements like the deadlift, squat-to-shoulder press, bent-over row or chest press can improve intermuscular coordination, which is the ability of many muscles to work together to generate and control high levels of force through multiple joints.”
