She Loves Whey Protein

Cameron shared some of her favorite products that keep her in shape for basketball season with Muscle & Fitness. She says that she drinks whey protein powder each day. “I’m all about getting my protein in, so I can build and maintain muscle to stay strong and unlock more in my recovery. My go-to protein powder is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey in Extreme Milk Chocolate – it satisfies my sweet tooth and I hit my protein goals.”

2

She Stays Hydrated

Cameron shared some more of her favorite foods in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that staying hydrated is extremely important to her, and she relies on powders and the Liquid IV to help her do so. “Any way I can get in extra electrolytes with a yummy flavor, I’m super into. Until you kind of know—you’re like, ‘I finally feel hydrated’—that’s when it clicks. It really makes the biggest difference.”

She Eats A Balanced Diet

Cameron make sure to eat healthy, however, that doesn’t mean she deprives herself. “I’m definitely about eating balanced and healthy, but also I eat a lot of my guilty pleasures for sure,” she says to Women’s Health. “It’s all about eating enough and feeling myself and feeling good.”

4

She Practices Gratitude

Last year, Cameron’s rookie WNBA season was cut short due to an ACL injury. However, she used that time to shift her mindset and priorities. “So many really fundamental and life-changing things happened this past year, but what I lead with is gratitude,” she says to Women’s Health. “I just try to practice gratitude every day and realize I truly am very, very lucky.”

She Works Hard

Cameron also told Women’s Health that recovering from her injury made her work even harder. “I saw this quote the other day. It was like, ‘I’ve definitely met the lowest version of myself this year, but I’ve also met the strongest version of myself.’ I didn’t let my trajectory stop.”
