WNBA Star Caitlin Clark In Workout Gear Says "Deja Vu"

Last year, Caitlin Clark became the face of women's basketball. After dominating the NCAA tournament, she became the first pick in the WNBA draft, and currently plays for the Indiana Fever. Caitlin was also chosen as Time Magazine's athlete of the year. This season is looking to be another good one for her, as she's fresh off of a win and a triple-double. Caitlin recently posted some highlights of herself on the court and with her teammates on Instagram. She captioned the post, "Déjà vu… a special day 💛"
She Golfs
Basketball isn't the only sport Caitlin likes to play. She's also an avid golfer. Caitlin shared this video on Instagram of herself attending the Parity Week golf event. She captioned it, "Great time at the @theannikalpga celebrating #ParityWeek by Gainbridge® with @nellykorda and @annikas59. Thankful that Gainbridge® is investing in women's sports and grateful for their donation to the @caitlinclarkfoundation with the 22nd Parity Week grant for $22,000."
She Strength Trains
Caitlin shocked everybody recently when she debuted her impressive arm muscles. How did she get them? Weight training. Caitlin has shared a lot of videos on social media of herself using weights. "That's where I'm going to find my confidence coming into this next season," she told ESPN. "Is just knowing I've been consistent, and whether it's been the weight room, whether it's been my skill development, my shooting."
She Knows What Works
Why is Caitlin so good at what she does? She knows what works for her and focuses on it. "She's far beyond her years in terms of her understanding of how to work," Fever coach Stephanie White told ESPN. "Oftentimes you see rookies, even the great ones, where it usually takes three years for them to figure it out. She's got it figured out."
She Keeps Her Privacy
Last year, Caitlin dealt with a lot of media attention, which can be overwhelming. For this reason, she tells ESPN that in the off-season, she valued her private time. "It was nice to get away from everything and just kind of be able to live my life as a normal person … to just be Caitlin. Don't get me wrong, I love basketball and having the spotlight and playing with my teammates … but eventually getting away from that was really healthy for me."
She Works Hard
Caitlin makes sure to work hard, especially when it comes to her training. Sarah Kessler, the Indiana Fever athletic perfomance coach, talked about Caitlin's work ethic to ESPN. "I've had athletes who have said that, and then maybe when the work component shows up to actually achieve those goals, that's where there's maybe a disconnect. But with Caitlin, she set those goals and from the jump, I was seeing her in the weight room four to five times a week."
