1

She Loves Protein Powder & Shakes

Cameron has to eat a healthy diet to stay in shape for games. One thing she likes to do is drink protein shakes and use powders. “I’m all about getting my protein in so I can build and maintain muscle to stay strong and unlock more in my recovery,” she told Muscle & Fitness. “My go-to protein powder is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey in Extreme Milk Chocolate – it satisfies my sweet tooth and I hit my protein goals.”

2

She Wants To Inspire Others

Cameron wants to use her platform for good. Earlier this year, she participated in Optimum Nutrition’s “Pretty Damn Good” campaign, which seeks to help empower female athletes. Cameron talked about the campaign to LBB Online. “I want to help others do the same because women should receive the recognition they deserve. Being ‘Pretty Damn Good’ isn’t just about talent. It’s about owning your progress and celebrating it.”

3

She Drinks Enough Water

One of Cameron’s biggest wellness secrets is drinking enough water, especially when she has a game. She talked about how she knows she’s drank enough water to Women’s Health. “Until you kind of know—you’re like, ‘I finally feel hydrated’—that’s when it clicks,” she says. “It really makes the biggest difference.”

4

She Eats A Balanced Diet

Cameron has to eat a healthy diet to keep herself in shape for basketball. However, that doesn’t mean she completely deprives herself of junk food and indulgences. “I’m definitely about eating balanced and healthy, but also I eat a lot of my guilty pleasures for sure,” she says to Women’s Health. “It’s all about eating enough and feeling myself and feeling good.”

5

She Golfs

Basketball isn’t the only sport Cameron likes to play. She’s also an avid golfer. Cameron shared this post on Instagram of herself on the course. She captioned it, “Get off the fairway.” Golf has a lot of health benefits. Better Health reports, “Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”
