WNBA’s Sophie Cunningham Shows Off Her Figure In Black Swimsuit
Sophie Cunningham is one of the stars of the WNBA. After spending five years with the Phoenix Mercury, she currently plays for the Indiana Fever. There, she quickly became known as a guard, specifically for her teammate, Caitlin Clark. Sophie became known as “The Enforcer.” Sophie is dealing with a knee injury right now, and is thinking about times when she felt better. She shared an old swimsuit photo on Instagram. She Swims
As you can see from her Instagram post, Paige spends a lot of time in swimsuits. That’s because one thing she does to keep herself in shape is going for a swim. Paige shared this photo on Instagram of herself by the pool. She captioned it, “It’s hot.” Paige also included some pool and lake photos in this carousel post. She captioned that, “Bikinis and basketball.”
She’s Competitive On The Court & Nice Off It
Sophie has two sides to her, the competitive side, when she’s playing basketball, and her kind side when she’s not. She talked about these two sides with Slam Online. “I think that people see me and it’s so funny that any time I get a new teammate that maybe, like, they’re competitive, we kind of go at it. They’re like, Oh, you’re actually like, really nice and fun to be around. I’m like, duh. Why can’t I be competitive on the court, and why can’t we all hang out after? I want to change that narrative for females that it’s OK to compete, it’s OK to play physical. It’s ok to go out there, work hard and sweat and then still be a nice human and a different person off the court, too.”
She Ignores The Haters
Sophie’s gotten a lot of hate in her career, but she’s learned to ignore it. “I don’t listen to all that noise,” she says to Slam Online. “I got that stuff in college, too. We beat South Carolina multiple years in a row and all of a sudden I’m the dirty player and it’s like, Nah, I’m just out working. I’m working y’all’s ass, you know what I mean?”
She Has Support
Sophie’s teammates are extremely supportive of her. She talked about this with Slam Online. “I lean on them quite a bit…For me, I just want to be the best teammate, I wanna be the best competitor [and] I wanna do whatever it takes for my team to win and all that other noise can just be squashed.”
She Rides Horses
Sophie loves going riding to keep herself in shape. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself spending time with and riding her horse. Sophie captioned it, “Happiest with my horse.”
