WWE star Mandy Rose (real name Amanda Rose Saccomanno) trains like an athlete—and knows when it’s time to relax and recover. Rose, 33, is enjoying a summer vacation on a luxurious yacht, soaking up the sunshine in a pink bikini that perfectly shows off her incredibly strong physique. “Yacht tings 😎🛥️,” she captioned a social media post highlighting her trip. So how exactly does she get those muscles? Here are 5 ways Rose stays fit and ready to fight.

1. Fitness Model

Rose started her career as a fitness model, so being in front of the camera doesn’t faze her. “When I was crowned the 2014 WBFF Bikini World Champion, that helped in getting some attention,” she says. “I had a small supplement sponsorship and a decent social media following, which I ran all myself. It was soon after that I received a call from a WWE recruiter, who asked if I would be interested in trying out for their reality show, Tough Enough. At that moment, I knew I could become a WWE superstar.”

2. Trained By the Best

Rose credits WWE Performance Center Assistant Head Coach Sara Amato with training her to be a superstar. “She’s always been amazing and she really ‘gets’ me when it comes to the ring work,” she says. “In fact, Sara’s the one who taught me that bicycle knee — my finisher. She just had this vision. She came up to me and she said, ‘You know, I feel like you could throw a really good bicycle knee.’ And this was like years ago during my first run in NXT. And I remember saying, 'Oh, you think so?' So I practiced it and I just started nailing it. Sara was like, 'Yup, I knew it.' She just knows my natural style and skill set and what I’d be good at and what I wouldn’t be good at."

3. Ready For the Next Challenge

Rose makes sure to rest between matches—but never quite switches off. “You know, it’s a little bit of both,” she says. “I love to celebrate and give myself a little pat on the back and think about what my next challenge is going to be. Obviously, relaxing and taking care of your body is really important — and training the way I do, I always need to relax and recover. But at the end of the day, I have a target on my back and I know that there will be another woman waiting to step up.”

4. Varied Interests

Rose considers herself a Renaissance woman when it comes to her interests and passions. “I am not only an athlete and sports entertainer, but also have a huge passion for fitness, beauty and fashion, so I am open to many different types of brands,” she says. “When it comes to brands approaching me, I just need them to be very specific, to the point of what they want and need from me. I also look for brands I can have a long-relationship with rather than taking short-term contracts.”

5. Skincare Line

Rose always looks flawless in the ring thanks to her own skincare line. “I honestly didn’t have a great routine until Amarose,” she says. “I was just always trying different things. My mom would bring home so many samples of stuff, I would always try different products. I feel like that was just me experimenting at a young age. Since I developed Amarose I've really focused on such a strict routine and regimen for a few years now, and I’ve noticed such a difference in my skin because of that consistency and using the same products that I know work for me.”

Rose’s typical workout involves a lot of cardio, mainly because of her diet. “Right now, I do a little more cardio because I tend to eat more with the crazy schedule—I can’t diet as much as I used to,” she explains to Muscle and Fitness. “Cardio is a good way for me to warm up and acts almost as therapy for me.” Rose says she typically does 25 minute cardio sessions.

3. She Loves Working Out Her Lower Body

In fact, she says she loves lower body and leg workouts. “My favorite body part to train is my lower body,” Rose says to Muscle and Fitness. “I get a great feeling after a good squat day or leg session. Rose tagged performance movement specialist, Phil Biocore, in the caption of her reel.

4. She Makes Time For Rest & Recovery

Rose prioritizes her workouts, but she also prioritizes her free time, and makes sure she recovers from her intense training. “Recovery is very important with how much we train,” she says to Muscle and Fitness. “Rest for me is No. 1, because I need my seven to eight hours of sleep every night. And whenever I can get body work done, like a massage or chiropractor session, I do it.”

5. She Sticks To Her Diet, But Indulges When She Wants To

But she enjoys indulging once in a while. “I try to stay consistent with my diet, eat the right foods, and consume enough protein,” Rose says to Muscle and Fitness. “But I’m not big on stressing over it. If I want to eat some cheese or a doughnut, I don’t worry about it. I’ve developed a lot of muscle mass over the years, so I make sure to consume enough protein. But I also love carbs.”

I always like to have a little bit of coffee in the morning — it’s more of a ritual for me than the taste. I like to sit and have 15 minutes to myself to just drink my coffee and reflect and think about what my day is going to be like. They served a breakfast burrito on the plane. To be brutally honest, I don’t really love airplane food, but no matter what, you can make something out of nothing. I had a couple of bites, that that way I could feel like I was getting a little bit without all the calories. Then I just had water on the plane. Whenever I travel I try to hydrate as much as possible. I hate that dehydrated feeling, it makes me super tired. They also served some fresh fruit so I had a little bit of that. That way when I landed I didn’t feel too bloated or heavy.”

I’m not against the losing weight part. But, I’m against calling people out for it. And I’m against people who call themselves fans thinking it is okay to criticize a woman’s body because it is more than doing squats. I do squats every day. It is a mental game as well. It is so much more than just working out. You know what I mean?”

14. Charlotte Flair

I never believed that I could be on TV, or be a performer, or any of those things … Why did I tell myself that for so many years? And now, here I am, the most decorated women’s champion of all-time. 1. She Wrestles Professionally

Dolan is a professional wrestler. Naturally, this is one of the main ways she stays in shape. She opened up about her journey to this career in an interview with AEW. “I started training when I was 16,” Dolan revealed. “It was just one of those things that I thought was going to be more like a hobby at first. It kind of just grew and grew.”

2. She Isn’t Held Back By Gender Roles

Dolan tells AEW that her wrestling is inspired by her upbringing. She says that she grew up with strict gender roles placed on her, and that wrestling is a way of breaking away from them. “A lot of my character comes from my upbringing. I grew up very strict, being told ‘Women shouldn’t act like this. Women shouldn’t act like this.’”

3. She Feels Comfortable With Herself

Dolan, like all wrestlers, has her own persona when she’s in the ring. She tells AEW that she feels like she can release her emotions and personality more when she wrestles. “The person in the ring represents my inner self that just wants to grab life and just command life,” she says. “Granted, I have tons of insecurities, and I just question myself constantly. But when I’m in the ring, I’m bringing out that part of me that I feel is the me that I want to be.”

4. She Swims

Dolan loves to spend time at the beach. Naturally, she also loves to swim as a way to stay in shape. She posted this photo of herself wading in the ocean. Dolan captioned it, “It was way too sunny for my light green eyes in the Bahamas.‬‬ ‪What a wild time the @jericho_cruise was!‬”

5. She Rides ATVs

Being a wrestler, Dolan is used to extreme things that get her adrenaline and heart rate going. One thing she likes to do is ride ATVs. She shared these videos on Instagram of herself riding in the dirt. She captioned the post, “I got wild in PastraLand!”

Ana Zelu is a professional model and social media influencer. She is known for her content in nature. Zelu recently shared a post on Instagram of herself on a surfboard in the ocean. She captioned it, “Yesterday was such a fun shoot, I just had to share these with you 🤍 🛥️But picture number #4?? That photobomb totally got me 😂 Which picture is your favorite ?🌊”

She Swims

As you can see from her post, Zelu likes to swim. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.”

She Doesn't Compare Herself to Others

Zelu shares a lot of her thoughts on Instagram. In this post, she talked about no longer comparing herself to others. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today’s contemplation led me to a profound understanding of the detrimental impact comparison has on our lives. It’s like a silent intruder, subtly creeping into our thoughts and poisoning our perception of ourselves and others. It’s a universal struggle, one that weighs heavily on the hearts of many. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the ultimate thief of joy. It robs us of our ability to appreciate our own journey and achievements, as we constantly measure ourselves against an idealized version of others. I’ve resolved to break free from its grasp. We should choose to celebrate our own unique path, recognizing that each step forward is a triumph in itself. Rather than fixating on external benchmarks set by others, I’m focusing on personal growth and development. Whether it’s through learning new skills, cultivating gratitude, or simply practicing self-compassion, every effort counts.”

She Hikes

Zelu is seen on a hike in the previous Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking is very beneficial. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

She’s Resilient

Resilience is another important thing to Zelu. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Dear Diary 💭📝, I witnessed something truly remarkable that touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how people can go through the toughest storms in life and yet remain gentle, patient, and kind. I saw someone who faced challenges that would break most people, yet they chose to respond with grace and humility. Their ability to stay calm and compassionate in the face of adversity is nothing short of admirable. It made me realize the beauty of resilience – the strength to keep going even when life throws its hardest punches. These individuals not only endure the storms but also emerge from them with a spirit that shines brighter than before. Their example reminds me of the power of kindness and the importance of staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found 💕🫶”

She’s Accepted Herself

Zelu talked about the importance of acceptance in this Instagram post’s caption. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but amidst it all, I feel like I’ve taken a step closer to the right direction. Letting go of the past is like shedding a heavy coat I’ve been carrying for far too long. It’s not easy to release the memories, the pain, the regrets, but today, I made a choice to loosen the grip they had on me. It’s like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long—refreshing and liberating. Forgiving myself has been a journey filled with tears and moments of self-doubt. But today, I finally understood that I deserve the same forgiveness and understanding I give to others. It’s like giving myself a warm hug, wrapping myself in kindness and acceptance.”
