She’s a force to be reckoned with.

Former WWE star Lacey Evans (real name Macey Estrella) is sharing the wisdom she wants to impress on her daughters as they grow up. Evans, 34, shared a picture of herself wearing pink workout gear, flexing an impressive bicep for her gym selfie. “Whatever they become… strength will play a big role. Strength to hold their own. Strength to find the courage to chase their dreams no matter how big they may seem. Strength to live life EXACTLY how they want to.... Unapologetically. If I leave them with anything, I pray it's strength. 💪#MyGirls #Strength #LimitlessLadies,” she captioned the post. Here’s how the busy mom stays fit, strong, and focused.

1. Tough Cookie

Evans is proud of being tough and strong. “I have dirt bikes and four wheelers,” she told FACES Magazine. “I can fish, then cook and clean everything I’ve caught. I put food on the table for my family. So you wouldn’t see the lady of WWE getting down and dirty with the four wheelers and catching food out of the river. That’s where it’s different. Obviously I was a US Marine, I can bake a pie just as good as I can fire a weapon. I’ll kick my high heels off and throw on a pair of boots in a minute.”

2. Giving Back

Evans loves using her platform to shine a light on important causes. “But so much of me has always wanted to do more for people on a more passionate and personal level that I really can't do while I'm being a character or a WWE performer,” she told The Sportster. “WWE partners with so many different programs that give back to people, from Be A Star to Hire Heroes to the USO, and I've gotten to step out of what I've been hired to do as a sports entertainer and step into many roles that give back to people.”

3. Discipline and Grit

Evans says her background in the Marine Corps was the perfect foundation for professional wrestling. “Between getting contacted by WWE and them offering me a tryout, to quickly being signed with the company, I was completely oblivious to what I was about to endure,” she told FACES Magazine. “But the US Marine Corps teaches you discipline, drive, initiative and grit. It teaches you to push through, adapt and overcome any situation no matter how stressful. Being a sports entertainer you have to be confident, and hard working. There are long nights and days, lots of fights, and you have to be ready physically, mentally and emotionally. The Marine Corps really set me up for that.”

4. Juggling Work and Home Life

Evans juggles the responsibilities of her family with work. “When I got in this company, I was a mother,” she told The Sportster. “My daughter goes on the road with me, she travels the road with me and I homeschool her. So, it's definitely a balancing act. I try to figure out a way to make sure my family is taken care of mentally, physically, emotionally while also doing the job of an entertainer.”

5. Advice For Wannabe Wrestlers

Evans has good advice for anyone who wants to make it in wrestling. “Don’t give up,” she told FACES Magazine. “Make sure that no matter what happens in your life, good or bad, that you make a plan. A lot of people when they’re going through hard times, they fail to plan. One minute your bills are paid and you’re doing ok, and the next minute it all catches up to you. No matter how good or bad your life is going, as long as you wake up and wash your face and write down a plan and work towards that plan, no matter how big or small. Don’t look at the bigger picture.”
