WWE’s Alexa Bliss In Two-Piece Workout Gear Shows Off Her Moves

Alexa Bliss is one of the most legendary female wrestlers out there. She won both the Raw and Women’s SmackDown championship, being the first in the WWE to do so. The WWE just shared a video on Instagram of Alexa in the ring alongside Roxanne Perez and Giulia. Alexa wore her signature workout gear, looking amazing. WWE captioned the post, “The future is now.” Here are 5 of Alexa Bliss’ wellness secrets.
She’s Confident
Alexa opened up about her career in an interview with WWE. She says that she was always confident in her abilities as a wrestler and knew she could be successful. “Of course I expected to rise so quickly. I know what I’m capable of. Even though other people didn’t know, I was going to make sure they knew exactly who Alexa Bliss was, and I was going to make sure they never forgot it.”
She Wants To Be An Advocate
Alexa has been open about her struggles with an eating disorder. She tells the Chasing Glory podcast, as reported by EWrestling, that she opened up about it to show other people who are struggling that they aren’t alone. “It has been incredible. Actually, there was a situation at a recent Comic-Con where this little girl came up to me and I felt like it has given people the comfort to speak out. I feel like–I know I talk about it all of the time. Body issues, online bullying, it is a thing. People go through it. I am sure that people are sick of talking about it at this point but I am going to keep talking about it.”
She Goes To Therapy
One way Alexa takes care of her mental health is by going to therapy. “Mental illness can dictate someone’s entire life,” she tells Sports Illustrated. “I put myself in a position to be in the public eye, but I’m doing what I love. I’ve gone to therapy, I’ve done everything I can do to get my brain in a healthy place.”
She Has Support
When it comes to her eating disorder, Alexa has a lot of supportive people in her life to help her. “An eating disorder is something that never leaves you, so having that support system is so important,” she told Sports Illustrated. “Up until two years ago, I was terrified of being near gummy bears. There was a night when I was backstage at a show, and there were gummy bears there. I was telling Tyler Breeze how that’s a trigger food for me, and as the weeks went on, he helped me eat gummy bears again. That was a minute little moment, but it was a big deal to me.”
She Weight Trains
Alexa likes to lift weights to keep herself in shape. In an interview with Muscle & Fitness, she revealed that she does a lot of workouts with weights. According to The Mayo Clinic, these exercises have a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls.”
