Tara Stiles/Instagram

Tara Stiles is a yoga expert and influencer. She shares a lot of content promoting softness on Instagram. Recently, she advertised a “7 Days of Softness” app challenge on her account. Stiles captioned a post, “Softness isn't a weakness, it's the most essential element of your strength. 7 Days of Softness is ready for you on the Strala Yoga app, in addition to our new practices every day. And for fun, it's all fun really, I'll be knitting a hat for a "winner" because if you know me, you know I love to knit hats and give them away. It's a joy. Big hugs and do your practice, love, Tara.”

She Does Yoga

Yoga is the main thing that Stiles does to keep herself in shape. The Mayo Clinic states that it has a lot of health benefits. “When people think of yoga, most people think of the physical poses or stretching when in fact yoga has many tools to offer for healing body, mind and spirit. The tools of yoga include physical poses, breathing practices, meditation practices, hand gestures and a disciplined lifestyle of cultivating healthy habits. A general yoga class can ease your everyday aches and pains, and release stress. Yoga therapy goes further because a yoga therapist works with you to address your specific needs and goals while respecting any limitations you may be experiencing.”

She Doesn't Stress Over Things

Stiles doesn’t believe in stressing over things she can’t control. She shared her exercise for letting go of these feelings in this Instagram video. Stiles captioned it, “When you feel like you need to control the whole universe or everything is going to fall apart, do this practice. It works every time. I’m here in Chicago for my good friend @avantikumarsingh book launch for the Longevity Formula. I’m leading a little softness yoga class today and moderating her book event tomorrow. This practice brings me back to center every time. Teach your friends and family too. Great for holiday gatherings.”

She Takes Care of Her Skin

Stiles makes sure to take care of her skin. She shared some of her favorite products in this Instagram video. “Making this reel took 10383034 times longer than the actual routine. It’s easy and effective I promise 😛Favorite products: @eirnyc face oil is my favorite. They are gifting us FREE face oil with any purchase. Use code STRALA24. @carmindybeauty is my girl from way back and her line is so great for all your makeup needs. She invented the #5minuteface and is the queen of natural beauty. @irisandromeo for tinted sunscreen and all things ease and glow. @jonesroadbeauty for more glow and much needed moisture.”

She Cares for Herself

Stiles is a big believer in caring for herself. She talked about the benefits of doing this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Something magical happens when you practice noticing how you feel and responding to yourself with care, as the main part of your practice. Space opens up for you to be comfortable with yourself. Space opens up for you to be at ease with yourself. Space opens up for you to feel more like yourself, while with yourself and around others. This is magic and creates more magic when you open yourself to those around you. You start to notice differences in yourself and others as beautiful, interesting and a place of connection. Imbalanced tendencies to conform to whatever thing of the moment does not exist here. You are celebrated for being the real you.”

She Uses Weights

Stiles likes to use weights to workout. She shared some of her favorite yoga exercises with weights in this Instagram video. Stiles captioned it, “Weights with ease ✨ I’ve been doing yoga -> weights -> yoga twice a week with on the Strala Yoga app for a few months now, in addition to our daily yoga practice. Here are a few dramatic things I’ve noticed. For those practicing along or adding weights in, what have you noticed? And for those who haven’t added weights yet, grab your soup cans, 5, 10 or 15 pounds. Use what you got handy!”

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty is starting the new year with yoga and positivity. Shetty, 48, shared a video of herself wearing a pink and purple yoga outfit, posing on a teal blue mat. “I’m starting 2024 on a ‘balanced’ note with the Ashwa Sanchalana Salamba Utthita Eka Padasana, which is a great balancing asana🧘🏻‍♀️ It helps improve focus & concentration, and also enhances the coordination between mind & body. It also improves the back’s and the hamstring’s flexibility. Please note: People suffering from back pain or slip-disc and pregnant women must avoid this asana. Wishing you all a Happy, Prosperous, and Healthy New Year... My resolution for 2024 is to LIVE IN THE ‘NOW’ with awareness, balance, and gratitude,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Shetty takes care of herself, inside and out.

1. Sharing Her Ab Workouts

Shetty frequently shares her workouts on social media, including her intense ab exercise routine. “Recipe for washboard ABS: Planks, Planks, & More Planks💪,” she captioned an Instagram video. “This workout trains the entire body, primarily driven by the core muscles. Stimulate all your muscles by performing these 3 exercises for 3 sets and 15-20 reps.

1) Extended Arm Plank: Hip Extensions

2) Side Elbow Plank: Hip Dips

3) Elbow Plank: Hip Abduction and Adduction

It strengthens the core, arms, legs, shoulders, & back muscles; and builds muscular endurance.

Can be done at home with just a mat on days you are running short of time, but want to move that body as it takes only 20 mins. Caution: Do not try this if you are a beginner.”

2. Yoga and Meditation

Shetty is a long time devotee of yoga and meditation. “Asanas like Setu Bandhasana strengthen the Vishuddhi chakra (Throat chakra) that helps one voice their opinions & thoughts, and gives clarity of communication,” she captioned an Instagram video of herself doing yoga poses on a mat. “The Ardha Halasana and Navasana help strengthen the Manipuraka chakra (or Solar Plexus chakra), which determines one’s self-confidence and the ability to take action. Eat clean, lead a healthy lifestyle, and make yoga-meditation an integral part of your daily routine. Your mind and body will thank you ♥️🙏.”

3. Fitness Is Her Target

Shetty says her entire workout regimen is about health, not the “perfect” body. “I’ve never given a good figure too much importance,” she tells Complete Wellbeing. “Fitness was more my target. I went to the gym not to look good but to feel good and be fit. I worked out and I wanted to maintain a healthy body. Like Bhagavan says, [Bhagavan is the founder of the Oneness University] if you want to be successful, if you want to achieve something in life, you need to be fit. If your immunity is low, it’s not going to allow you to work as hard as you would otherwise have. It stems from this understanding.”

4. Healthy Diet With a Cheat Day

Aloe,Vera,On,Wooden,TableShutterstock

Shetty enjoys a healthy diet with one day a week for any indulgences. “I am a foodie. I love food, but I eat the right food,” she tells Complete Wellbeing. “I have a healthy diet. I keep one day in the week when I eat anything like cakes, kulfi, and gulab jamuns. My day starts with aloe vera juice. It is great for your immune system; it’s great for your skin. Then I have porridge and tea. I avoid white sugar as far as I can and have only brown sugar. My theory is to replace everything white with brown — be it brown bread, brown rice, or brown sugar. I don’t eat steamed or boiled food. I eat normal food but cooked in a healthy vegetable oil or olive oil. For lunch, I have dal rice [brown] or chapati and chicken curry and one vegetable. If I am hungry in the evening, I’ll have one brown toast with two eggs and tea and, at night, I try and eat early. I eat a salad, soup and one chicken dish. My diet is very simple. It’s easy to follow.”

5. Fitness Challenge

Shetty loves challenging herself and posting the results online. “Failure is a stepping stone to success. Keep trying, push yourself, but never give up,” she captioned a humorous Instagram video. “Today, I took up the #StandUpChallenge! It tests one’s mobility, which is the ability to move your entire body freely and normally. It encompasses muscle strength, range of motion, and endurance capacity helping you with great mobility. It took me a couple of tries (as you can see😋) but, I believe failure is funnier than success.”

Indian actress Malaika Arora recently opened her own yoga studio and based on her social media updates, is well qualified for the job. Arora, 50, shared a video of herself wearing purple shorts and a black sports bra, doing a full Vinyasa yoga workout on a mat. “Yoga is not just a workout …. It’s a way of life for me 🧘‍♀️. #powervinyasaflow @thedivayoga,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Arora lives her best, healthiest, and happiest life.

1. Yoga By Malaika

Arora is thrilled to open her own yoga studio, something is deeply passionate about. “I was introduced to yoga years ago when I suffered an injury, and since then my love affair with it has only become stronger,” she told Elle India. “So when the opportunity to be a part of Diva Yoga came my way, I jumped at it. It’s in sync with my beliefs about fitness, my love for yoga, and more importantly, I’ve always wanted to create a yoga studio that was dedicated to women.”

2. Weight Training and Pilates

Arora works out every day, mixing up yoga, weight training, and Pilates. “I make it a point to practice yoga every day; if not at the studio then a quick 20-minute routine at home,” she told Elle India. “Just practicing a few basic asanas every morning can really make a difference to the rest of my day. Besides that, I do some Pilates and weight training through the week to build strength, to train the mind and lengthen the body. I really wish I could be more outdoorsy, but I don’t enjoy running because I find it very hard on my knees. I do try to fit in a swim when I’m traveling.”

3. DIY Skin and Hair Treatments

Bright,Egg,Yolks,,Oatflakes,,Honey,,Lavender,With,Cosmetic,Brush,Closeup,Shutterstock

Arora freezes papaya, potato and tomato into ice cubes and uses them as a cold face treatment. She also makes hair masks out of egg, coconut oil, and banana. “During COVID, I started experimenting and using natural products and I was using coconut oil on my hair once a week,” celebrity extensionist Priscilla Valles told Vogue. “The hydration and shine it provides is beyond amazing.”

4. Relaxation Activities

Arora likes to wind down and relax with massages, or cleaning her house. “Massage therapy is safe and effective for people of all ages,” massage therapist Ivy Conrad, M.S.S.G.-L., tells the Mayo Clinic. “It's not only a feel-good way to indulge or pamper yourself. It's a powerful tool to help you take charge of your health and well-being, whether you have a specific health condition or are looking for a stress reliever.”

5. Fitness Encouragement For Newbies

Arora has good advice for anyone starting out on their fitness journey. “The fact that you’ve begun is the best thing,” she told Elle India. “You have got to push your mind, stay dedicated and look at your routine as a slow transformation, to stay on track. Don’t treat your workout like a quick-fix, it’s something that should be a part of your lifestyle if you want to reap its benefits. Creating your own fitness routine should be like getting into a long-term relationship.”

Wendy Barlow is inviting fans to join her on a very special getaway. The wife of professional wrestler Rick Flair shared a picture of herself stretching in a green bathing suit against a lush green background. “I am launching my first ever Yoga Retreat and I have chosen the Beautiful Rainforest of Costa Rica as my Destination 🧘🏻‍♀️#Namaste,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Barlow stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She’s a Yogi

Barlow is—of course—passionate about yoga. “I incorporate yoga into my workouts,” she previously said. “It’s a great way to unwind after a strenuous run and before facing the day. Also Ric and I travel all the time so I always bring my yoga mat with me. As soon as I get to the hotel room I pull out my mat and my laptop and do yoga. Right now, I am loving Asana Rebel. It is great because it is yoga that burns fat.”

2. Breakfast Smoothies

Barlow enjoys a green smoothie for breakfast made with spinach, celery, apple, and ginger. “Spinach is a dynamic superfood dense with vitamins, potassium, calcium, and fiber. Including it regularly in your diet holds a host of health benefits,” says the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. “You’ll absorb more calcium and iron if you eat spinach cooked because its oxalic acid blocks absorption of those minerals until heated.”

3. Peloton and Weights

Barlow mixes up her workouts, but never skips a session. “Workout at least 30 minutes five times a week,” she says. “Even when I don’t feel like it I push myself to get my workout done first thing in the morning. I make sure to challenge myself by switching up what I do. Some days I do the Peloton and take spinning classes which are hard but so effective. Other days I run 4 miles and lift weights.”

4. Professional Tennis Player

Barlow is a retired tennis player and still enjoys matches. “Want to sleep better? Tennis improves serotonin levels, which is critical to better rest,” according to Lee Health. “Then there is that natural mood boost and a heightened self-image – especially when weight loss is involved.”

5. Staying Hydrated

Barlow makes sure to stay hydrated throughout the day. “Water is essential,” she says. “First thing I do in the morning is drink 32oz of water. Then throughout the day, I always drink even when I am not thirsty. I know I have to get in my 8 glasses or more a day. It helps to always have a bottle with you everywhere you go.”

Hard not to when this song plays,” she captioned a post of one of her dancing sessions. “Ballet/jazz baby forever,” she captioned another. Dancing builds strength and promotes flexibility, and helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

3. She Works Out at Home

Because she doesn’t like to go to the gym, she has developed an effective at-home workout. “You really don’t need any experience or equipment to exercise with me from home and to start feeling so much better physically and mentally,” she shared in an Instagram post.

4. She Does Pilates

Here’s how Sanon keeps herself in top shape with a variety of exercises that work both body and mind.

She Does TRX

NIFS states that these exercises have a lot of benefits. “If you have ever taken a class or done some of even the most basic exercises, you quickly see that core activation is one of the most important aspects. The workouts are simple yet very challenging, and you can easily complete a total-body workout only using one piece of equipment in 20 minutes.”

Sanon is seen doing a lot of strength training exercises in her Instagram video. Strength training has a lot of health benefits. This exercise is vital for developing a stronger posterior chain, contributing to improved athletic performance, alleviating lower back pain, and enhancing overall physique. This exercise involves rotating your torso from side-to-side while maintaining a sit up position with your feet off the ground. This rotational movement often occurs in sports, which makes it a popular exercise amongst athletes. It is speculated that this was developed during the Cold War by the former Soviet Union as a training exercise for the Russian Soldiers.”

She Uses A Stationary Bike

Penn State PRO Wellness reports that stationary bike workouts have a lot of health benefits. “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes.”

Alice De Bortoli doesn’t just light up Instagram with her stunning fashion and effortless style—she also shares the secrets behind her enviable beach-ready physique. The Italian influencer keeps her followers in the loop when it comes to fitness, beauty, and wellness, proving that looking and feeling great is all about consistency. From skincare rituals to core-sculpting workouts, De Bortoli’s daily habits make it clear that staying in shape is about more than just hitting the gym. Whether she’s cooking up homemade meals, breaking a sweat, or showing off a fresh new look, she’s all about feeling her best from the inside out. Here are five of her go-to habits for maintaining a strong, confident, and glowing presence all year long.

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

De Bortoli has impressive skin. Naturally, she takes care of it on a regular basis. De Bortoli shared this video on Instagram sharing her skincare routine. She captioned it, “The secret to perfect skin? Here is my step by step routine! ✨💦🎀 What product can you absolutely not live without?”

She Changed Her Hair Color

Alice De Bortoli dyed her hair

De Bortoli recently changed her hair color. She explained why in the caption of this Instagram post. “The good thing about this color is that it does not require frequent touch-ups and it easily adapts to natural hair growth, it is versatile and can enhance any body and face shape 🧡for those who are tired of blonde or brown, bronde is the solution to change harmony without distortion 🤍for those who have a fair complexion, the most golden tone is recommended 🤎 for the dark complexion, on the other hand, more ash brown ❤️ 🔥what can I say... For me the bronde conquered, and what do you think?”

She Cooks

De Bortoli likes to cook, and she was taught to do so by her grandmother. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her grandmother cooking together. De Bortoli captioned it, “Grandparents are wealth in society, my grandmother loves to cook and do it with her since I was a child. She has always inspired my creativity, patience, discipline and order but above all traditions, history, and the concreteness of nature's gifts. The greatest teaching my grandparents passed on to me is respect for people, the environment, animals and the kitchen... Today together we made Carnival Frittelle, an easy, quick dessert that adults and kids love. The ingredients are few and simple (but of high quality) and, trust me, the result is guaranteed: nice round but above all soft and tasty.”

She Works Her Abs

De Bortoli shared this video of herself working out on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing core exercises like sit-ups. Core exercises are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

She Works Out With Others

In the previous Instagram video, De Bortoli is seen working out with a friend. Better Health says that this has a lot of benefits. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”
