Yvonne Strahovski is getting a kiss from her husband – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the Chuck star shows off her amazing body while nuzzling up to her man, Tim Loden. “Favorite ♥️,” she captioned the Instagram snap. The couple has been married since 2017 and have three kids together. How does the star, 41, approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. Exercise – But Not in the Gym
Yvonne makes sure to move but tries to stay outside of fitness studios. “I’m a big believer in exercise,” she told the New York Times. “I’m not a gym girl, though. I’ve never had a gym membership.”
2. Healthy Eating
“I’m a bigger believer in eating right, which is simply with plenty of fruits and vegetables,” she told the New York Times. “I don’t eat sugar. I eat fruit. I grew up with horrible skin. I had cystic acne ever since I can remember. I ended up finally listening to those people who say you are what you eat,” she added to Yahoo Style. “Sugar was the only thing my skin responded to when I quit it, and it’s been six years.”
3. Hiking
So if she doesn’t go to the gym, what is Yvonne’s workout of choice? “I’d rather go hiking,” she told the New York Times. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
- Building stronger muscles and bones
- Improving your sense of balance
- Improving your heart health
- Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
4. Surfing
Yvonne also loves surfing, “which is a very new thing for me. It’s only been about two months, but I’m in love with it,” she told the New York Times several years back. According to the Australian government’s Better Health, surfing provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthens from the paddling, and leg and core strength. “Once you’re standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up,” they say.
5. Italian Food
Yvonne loves a certain cuisine. “Italian food is my favorite food, because no matter what recipe you are going to try or what kind of ingredients you are going to cook, you know that the quality in an Italian kitchen always comes first. I love pasta and pizza, but the best food to eat in Catania is arancini. I like them all, but my fav are the classic al sugo, and I prefer them shaped like a pyramid,” she told Foodiamo.
