Zoë Kravitz is an actress and singer best known for her role as Catwoman in The Batman, and her role as Bonnie Carlson on Big Little Lies. Soon, however, you'll know her as a big-time director—her first film, Blink Twice, starring Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum and Alia Shawkat, comes out August 23. Kravitz recently shared a photo of herself in two-piece workout gear on Instagram. She received praise in her comments section. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Zoë Kravitz stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Worked With A Trainer

Lenny Kravitz Honored with Star on The Hollywood Walk of FameVariety/Getty Images

To play Catwoman, Kravitz worked with trainer Harley Pasternak. He shared with Men’s Health that they worked out each filming day. "We would work out five days a week, because they film five days a week," Pasternak said. "And we'd work out during a typical 30-minute lunch break, but it was usually 25 with them. Each workout starts with cardio warmup and then we do circuits of upper body and lower body, then abs and then a cardio cooldown. All in 25 minutes."

2. She Makes Wellness A Priority

Kravitz tells Vogue that she makes sure to make wellness a priority. “I try and drink a lot of water, and I think it’s all about balance. I think it’s about joy, happiness and laughter because those really effect the way you look and feel. I also love to steam—I love to sweat things out and I think it’s good to keep the body moving.”

3. She Does Cleanses

Kravitz revealed to Vogue that she does a cleanse each year with her mother. “Every year, my mom and I try and do the Dr. Schultz 30-Day Detox together. It’s a 30-day cleanse that focuses on all your different organs, so your bowel, your liver, your kidneys, your gallbladder and the bowel again. It’s just a nice thing to reset your body every year. If you don’t do that cleanse, take a week to eat raw and natural foods as a way to let your body relax because it’s constantly working to process everything that we’re putting in it. It’s like giving your gut a vacation.”

4. She Uses The Elliptical

Kravitz shared her daily routine with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she likes to use the elliptical at the gym. “I try to work out when I first get up. Otherwise I'll go late at night, like 10 P.M. I think it helps me sleep, and it's very important to sweat and move your blood. My gym in Brooklyn is really small, and I'll just go on the elliptical for 30 minutes, long enough to work up a sweat, and then I'm good.”

5. She Uses Steam Rooms

After working out, Kravitz tells Harper’s Bazaar that she likes to go in a steam room. “I also love steam rooms, because it helps get all the toxins out and rejuvenate your body. And I do stretches and sit-ups at home, like leg exercises and stuff. I've worked with a lot of trainers over the years for shows and films, so I know enough about fitness to do things on my own at this point.”

Noelle Leyva is a model and influencer. She is known for her fitness content. Last month, she celebrated the holidays on Instagram. In a post, Leyva is seen in red sweats. She captioned it, “Can’t wait for Christmas.”

She Does Squats

Leyva shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. She included a video of herself doing squats. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats can improve your posture. “Poor posture can cause all kinds of problems, including back pain, neck pain, headaches and an overall lack of flexibility. But working your erector spinae muscles, like through squatting, can help strengthen them and improve your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

Leyva included a video of herself doing hamstring curls in her Instagram story highlight. Asphalt Green states that doing these can have a lot of benefits. “Hamstring curls are a great way to balance the muscles that you work when you’re doing leg extensions. This exercise is also good for people with sedentary jobs who don’t get a lot of walking in. Even pro cyclists can benefit from using this machine, since biking works the quads so heavily and doesn’t do as much for the hamstrings. With hamstring curls, you’re essentially doing the opposite motion to leg extensions. You’re exerting force by bending and pulling with your legs instead of pushing with them.”

She Strength Trains

Noelle Leyva is seen strength training.

In her Instagram story highlight, Leyva is seen doing strength training exercises like pushdowns and using weights. Strength training is very beneficial. The Mayo Clinic states, “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls.”

She Does Cardio

Noelle Leyva shares a post-cardio selfie.

Noelle Leyva/Instagram

Leyva revealed in her Instagram story that she likes to do cardio workouts. Cardio has a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “A good cardiovascular workout will have you consistently breathing faster than you would while resting. The result: More oxygen in your blood for your heart to pump to the rest of your body.”

She Does Pulldowns

Noelle Leyva is photographed doing pull-downs.

Leyva is also seen doing lateral pulldowns in her Instagram story highlight. These have a lot of benefits. Piedmont says, “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

Danielle tries to keep her diet as celan as possible. “I try to eat as little processed food as possible. I find the more natural it is the better. I also try to eat lean meats and fish that are full of healthy fats. I try to stay away from carbs too much because I need sustained energy throughout the day. Shoots can go from 8-16 hours straight of work. My biggest pleasure tends to be coffee and donuts (with sprinkles). Lots Of Core Work

In a new social media post the tennis pro gives her followers a glimpse into what it takes to maintain her fantastic figure, wearing a shirt that says “It only takes everything,” from Nike. “What the shirt says-> 🔒‼️” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps and videos. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

A "Step-By-Step" Approach

Raducanu described her "step by step” approach to fitness in a recent video. “When I posted that video, it was literally the first time in the last year (that) I’d done a proper little chunk of training, so I was really, really happy to be starting that," she told TODAY. "Because I honestly hadn’t done much, I just needed to start at the beginning and build my foundation up again. It’s so important to have a good foundation in everything, and after that, you can add complications and throw some more interesting things in."

Hydration

Emma prioritizes hydration. "Being on court, I’m sweating so much that staying hydrated is important to me," Raducanu told Today. "It’s so good for mental clarity and to feel energetic. Otherwise you feel sluggish. And I know it improves my mood, as well." She also loves coconut water. “But as a snack I’ve recently gotten really into fresh coconut water. I love it. And it’s ironic because I always hated coconut. It’s the one thing I would not have. And now I just love coconut water." According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Healthy Eating

Emma Raducanu shares a photo of her meal prep.

Raducanu maintains a healthy diet. In her recent post she shows off her meal prep container, filled with salmon, roasted veggies, avocado, and tomatoes. She also loves sushi. "I could have it all the time," she said. "When I travel it’s one of my go-tos. She also relies on smoothie bowls and energy balls to fuel her workouts.

Self-Motivation

“I think about how good I feel afterward," Emma told Today about how she keeps herself motivated. "For me, nothing beats the satisfaction of a really big training day and feeling really proud of yourself, knowing you’ve pushed yourself to the max. Right now, I’ve been doing so much work that sometimes I feel completely uncoordinated toward the end of it, but I know I’ve pushed myself to that stage, and I accept that once I freshen up, I’ll be a lot better. The feeling afterward is what keeps me going.” She added: “Every time I get into the gym, it’s a win.”

Tennis

Tennis is Emma’s main workout. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

Zoë Kravitz is heating up the March 2022 issue of Elle! The 33-year-old actress sizzles in the latest issue of the fashion magazine, showing off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit. In the accompanying interview, the daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet reveals all of her secrets to healthy and happy living— and how she got into the best shape of her life to play Catwoman in the new movie, The Batman (in theaters March 4th). Read on to see 5 ways Zoë stays in shape and keeps herself happy and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Her Catwoman Workouts Were Intense

Zoë got into insane physical form for her role in Catwoman. After spending eight hours filming, she would return home for three hour workouts. “Obviously, you want to look good in a catsuit, but I wanted it to be realistic that I’m able to do anything in this film,” she told the magazine. “So I had to be strong. I got stronger than I’ve ever been. That felt good, to see what I was capable of. I felt confident—and I could kick some ass.”

2. She Knows When to Turn Off the Background Noise

The 2021 Met Gala Celebrating In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion - ArrivalsTaylor Hill/WireImage

After being accused of showing too much flesh at the 2021 Met Gala, Zoë was the subject of nasty trolling. “Being uncomfortable with the human body is colonization/brainwashing. It’s just a body. We all got em,” she responded to one commenter. However, the online backlash bothered her. “The fact that people don’t think what they say affects a celebrity because you’re not a person to them is crazy,” she explained to Elle. “I’m a human being. I want to ... defend myself.” A week later she knew it was time to take a hiatus from social media, deleting all of her Instagram posts and posting only once during the remainder of the year. “The fact that I’m like, ‘Should I have not worn that?’ No, I do what I want to do, and I make what I want to make, and if I’m now starting to be afraid of what other people are going to say or think, I’m no longer doing my job as an artist."

3. She Is On Her Own Life Schedule

6th Annual InStyle Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Zoë is calling the shots when it comes to her timetable and isn’t paying attention to the traditional biological clock. “We all go from being the baby, where you’re like, ‘I have so much time.’ And then, all of a sudden, your gynecologist is like, ‘Want to freeze your eggs?’ And I’m like, ‘I hadn’t even thought about that.’ But I don’t feel pressured to have kids by a certain time, if I ever have kids. This idea of like, you’re 30. You’re a grown-up. Now you’re supposed to have kids and stop having fun, because that’s for children—I bought that for a second. It was like, ‘I don’t go out anymore. I just make roast chickens.’ But I still want to go on adventures, have fun nights, and see the sunrise. It’s been an interesting journey of remembering that there’s no finish line that I have to get to by a certain time. Playful, mischievous behavior is something I always hope to have, even when I’m 70 years old. The point of being alive is to experience life and play with it. There’s still so much fun to be had,” she says.

4. Writing Is Her Outlet

Zoë reveals that when she’s assessing her emotions there are “moments where I’m like, ‘Okay, I’ve been smoking and drinking maybe a little more than I should—let’s look at what’s going on.’ And then I’m like, ‘I should call a therapist.’ And sometimes, you need to dance it out. I think all of them are okay for a shortened amount of time,” she told Elle. Writing music for her upcoming album is one of her emotional outlets, and helps her process her feelings. “It feels vulnerable, and it’s a little scary, but making music makes me happy,” she says.

5. She Makes Time for Self-Reflection

After The Batman production shut down during the pandemic, she headed to upstate New York with her husband and dog and spent time in self-reflection. “My life changed after that,” she said. “It was a gift, just taking the time.” Shortly after she filed for divorce.

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
