Kim Kardashian, 42, is only getting healthier and better about her diet with age. The reality star and business mogul works hard to get her toned curves—we’re talking 5.30am workouts and a mostly plant-based diet. That’s not to say she doesn’t know when to let loose and have fun. “Honestly, I really take care of myself,” she says. “I work out, and I eat as plant-based as possible. I’m not perfect, but it’s a lifestyle. I feel really good in my own skin these days, so maybe that comes through. So what exactly does Kardasian enjoy for her breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Here’s what she eats in a day.

1. Chia or Acai for Breakfast

Summer,Acai,Smoothie,Bowls,With,Raspberries,,Banana,,Blueberries,,And,GranolaShutterstock

Kardashian enjoys a chia pudding or acai bowl with tea for a typical breakfast. “Chia seeds have many nutritional benefits,” says Romi Londre, RDN, CD. “They are high in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. Chia provides a similar amount of omega-3 fatty acids as ground flaxseed in the form of alpha linolenic acid, or ALA. Chia seeds are an excellent source of fiber, which can improve heart health, reduce cholesterol levels and promote intestinal health. Fiber takes longer to digest and makes you feel satisfied longer, which is how it can help with weight loss and decrease your risk of developing diabetes or heart disease.”

2. Protein and Spinach Salad For Lunch

Fresh,Green,Salad,With,Grilled,Chicken,Fillet,,Spinach,,Tomatoes,,Avocado,Shutterstock

A typical lunch for Kardashian is fish or chicken with vegetables and spinach salad. “Spinach contains calcium, magnesium and potassium — three important factors in energy metabolism,” says Jacqueline Beatty, PhD. “Additionally, spinach is low in sodium, and research has shown that foods high in potassium and low in sodium play a role in significantly reducing blood pressure. This nutrient-dense leafy green can help you lose weight and improve the quality of your health.”

3. Vegan Tacos, Fish, or Eggplant Parmesan for Dinner

Kardashian enjoys tacos made with plant-based meat alternatives for dinner, or vegan eggplant parmesan. She also enjoys grilled fish and vegetables. “We all know that fish is high in protein and low in fat,” say the experts at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. “But it’s also loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, which help maintain heart health by lowering blood pressure. Omegas 3’s also are known to be beneficial to healthy brain function and development. In fact, the American Heart Association recommends eating two servings of fish per week as part of a heart-healthy diet.”

4. Green Beans and Guacamole For a Snack

Guacamole,Dip,In,Bowl,Over,White,Stone,Background.,Healthy,AvocadoShutterstock

Kardashian likes to snack on tempura green beans or guacamole, which explains her beautiful complexion—one study shows avocado has a beneficial impact on skin health. “What we have learned from this study is that avocado is a very unique fruit,” says Zhaoping Li, MD, chief of the division of clinical nutrition at UCLA. “It has a lot of fibers, monounsaturated fatty acids and phytonutrients and it has an impact on many, if not all, of the organ systems inside of our body. If you can swap out your high-fat processed foods like sausages with avocado, you will be doing yourself a favor. Avocados are high in fat, but it’s good fat. This counters the public opinion that all fats are bad.”

5. Häagen-Dazs For a Rare Treat

2023 TIME100 GalaDimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images

Kardashian has a notorious sweet tooth, but made a point of cutting back on sugar for the sake of her health. "I don't really eat sugar the way that I used to. It doesn't really do it for me," she says. "I've kind of been trained to just eat a lot healthier than I used to. I used to just eat anything and everything and I loved it. And so I really do control that now. I don't want to ruin it by just stuffing my face." Her one sweet treat? "I love Häagen-Dazs ice cream. That's like my one go-to."

Ripped, stacked, chiseled, strong, superhuman. These are all words that are regularly used to describe Henry Cavill, aka Superman. The British actor has made it no secret that health and fitness are incredibly important to him. This is one of the reasons why the Man of Steel recently took on a new role as Chief Creative Officer at MuscleTech, a globally recognized brand of sports supplements. In a new interview with Celebwell, the 38-year-old details the exact diet responsible for his famous physique, and well as the supplement stack that helps him achieve all of his fitness goals.

1. His Diet is Extremely Regimented

henry-cavill-muscletech-6MuscleTech

It should come as zero surprise that Henry is extremely regimented when it comes to his diet. A typical day for him food-wise includes a variety of shakes, supplements, proteins, and digestible carbohydrates. And, instead of breaking down his diet into breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, he categorizes his meals by number.

2. Meal One

henry-cavill-muscletech-5MuscleTech

“I wake up in the morning and I have a protein shake, one-and-a-half to two scoops of hundred percent grass fed whey protein, plus a cup and a half of oats, plus a two egg omelet with some ham or turkey in it, and four ounces of filet steak,” he explains. “That's breakfast.”

3. Meal Two

Top,View,Of,Lean,Meal,High,Protein,Of,Chicken,BreastShutterstock

His second meal consists of protein and carbs. “Six ounces of chicken breasts with brown rice,” he says.

4. Meal Three

Top,View,Of,Lean,Meal,High,Protein,Of,Chicken,Breast ShutterstockShutterstock

Interestingly, meal three is exactly the same as meal two: Six ounces of chicken breast with brown rice.

5. Meal Four

Beef,Scotch,Fillet,Served,With,Kumara,Fries/sweet,Potatoes,Fries,AndShutterstock

For dinner, Henry switches it up a bit. “Meal four will be five ounces of filet of beef with sweet potato.”

6. Meal Five

henry-cavill-muscletech-4MuscleTech

Meal five isn’t actually a meal, but a shake. “I'll have a pre-bed shake to make sure I don't go into a catabolic state and that will be just protein and water,” he reveals.

7. He Indulges in One Cheat Meal Per Week

Pizza,With,Parma,Ham,And,ArugulaShutterstock

Henry reveals that he does give himself a break from his extremely regimented diet once a week. “My cheat meal depends on the week and the country,” he explains. One of his reliable go-tos? Pizza. “You could find pizza from pretty much any country,” he confirms. However, if he is in the UK he might indulge in some fish and chips, “or I may do a Sunday roast or something just to make a bit of an event out of it,” he says.

8. His Supplement Stack

henry-cavill-muscletech-8MuscleTech

In addition to food, Henry stays fueled up throughout the day with the help of MuscleTech supplements. “I have my basic line of supplements, my regular stack as we call it,” he reveals.

“At the moment I stick to 100% grass fed whey protein, and I have that as part of my breakfast, my post-workout shake and my pre bed shake. I also take a pack of multivitamins every day. I use Shatter Pre-workout if I'm feeling particularly tired before workouts. And I also use Amino Build during my workout to make sure that I'm getting the most out of it.”

9. “It’s All About Finding That Inner Strength”

henry-cavill-muscletech-3MuscleTech

Henry wants his fans to know that you don’t have to be a superhero to achieve fitness goals, which is one of the reasons he chose to partner with MuscleTech. “We all have the capacity for creating a physical self within us already. We already have those ingredients and it's about keying into them and accessing them,” he explains. “It's not, some people can, some people come, we all can. Absolutely. And it's about finding that inner strength to push forward because as MuscleTech says, strength is more than just muscle. And that's something which I love.”

1. Halle Berry Is Devoted to Keto

Halle Berry, 54, has been a devotee of the keto diet long before it became a trend. After first being diagnosed with diabetes at 22, the former Bond girl adopted a keto-like diet and has been on it ever since. “My doctors told me I'd have to keep an eye on how I ate to stay healthy, and I took it to heart. I wanted to get off of insulin, so I decided to say goodbye to processed carbs and sugar like baked goods and white bread—and it has seriously paid off,” she wrote in an essay for Women’s Health. “For more than 15 years, eating this way has helped me manage my diabetes—but it's also given me a ton of energy and helped me maintain my weight and stay in shape.”

2. Carrie Underwood Counts Macros

56th Academy Of Country Music Awards - ShowKevin Mazur/Getty Images

Carrie Underwood used to count calories, but the “wannabe vegan” now keeps track of macros. She works with nutritionist Cara Clark, focusing on maintaining a healthy balance of 25 percent protein, 45 percent carbs and 30 percent fat. "I love rules," Underwood admits. Her diet consists of eggs (but only ones laid by chickens in her backyard), lots of fruits and veggies, Ezekiel toast, vegan meat and tofu, dark chocolate, and even red wine. "I do have my vice," she admitted to Women’s Health.

3. Jennifer Aniston Does Intermittent Fasting

Jennifer Aniston’s secret to maintaining her fabulous figure in her fifties? She skips breakfast.

"I do intermittent fasting, so there's no food in the morning," she told Radio Times (via CNBC) in 2019. "I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours." Instead of eating in the am, she sips on coffee and celery juice. And, of course, she does allow herself one “cheat day” on Sunday.

4. Beyonce Went Vegan

63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards – TelecastKevin Winter/Getty Images

Beyoncé famously ditched animal products on the 22 Days Nutrition program in preparation for her post-baby Coachella performance in 2018. She was so impressed with the physical and mental results, that she partnered up with her trainer and nutritionist, Marco Borges, on the program. “We know the power of vegetables,” Borges said in a video of Bey’s vegan journey to Coachella. “Plant-based is really about eliminating all of the overly processed foods that don’t do us any good anyways. When you’re eating plant-based you will definitely have more energy.”

During the video, the star munches on veggies while doing her thing. “It’s time to work, so I have to get in that zone, it’s like a different headspace,” she said. “Me getting the weight off was so much easier than getting back in shape and my body feeling comfortable.”

5. Jennifer Lopez Is Devoted to Clean Eating

Global Citizen VAX LIVE: The Concert To Reunite The WorldKevin Winter/Getty Images

Jennifer Lopez is the poster girl for looking fabulous in her fifties. She recently appeared on the cover of InStyle's The Beauty Issue, flaunting her rock hard swimsuit bod. "I'm in the best shape of my life," she admitted. J.Lo doesn't follow a specific diet—she makes healthy and clean eating a lifestyle. "You got to work out, you got to watch what you eat," she told Us Weekly. "It's a job— you've got to buckle down." Her trainer, Dodd Romero, revealed that her ultra-clean diet consists of five basic categories: protein, vegetables, fats, carbohydrates and water. She "stays away from processed foods and gets her nutrients from whole sources," he revealed. Egg whites, white meat turkey, chicken breast, grass-fed beef, salmon and sea bass, nuts, veggies (minus carrots and corn as they are higher in sugar than leafy greens), sweet potatoes, brown rice, quinoa, rice bread and oatmeal, are all on her regular menu.

Melissa Pfeister is sharing a “work it Wednesday” workout – in her two-piece workout clothes. In a new social media post the trainer and fitness influencer shows off her amazing body in skintight workout wear while breaking a sweat. “Want a lady in the streets but a freak in the…gym 😜💪🏻🔥 #workitwednesday,” she captioned the video. If you want to sweat like Melissa – and eat like her – here is everything you need to know about her workout and eating habits.

1. Here Is Her Workout

In the clip, Melissa does 12 to 15 reps of each exercise and 2 to 3 sets:

  1. Plank row
  2. Weighted crunch reach
  3. Plank pull thrus

“This was more of a core workout but overall a pretty good workout,” explains Kendra Gamble, HIT Fitness Training, Huntingdon Valley, PA, NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant. “I would have thrown in a rotational exercise or some oblique exercise to target the entire core.”

2. Recreating Her Favorite Dishes in a “Healthy Way”

Melissa, who competed on Food Network Star, explains her goal when it comes to cooking. “I take foods that maybe aren’t the best for you and re-create them in a healthy way,” she told them. “My greatest strength I would say is adapting. I eat healthy, and I have a lot of allergies ... I’ve always had allergies my whole life. ... Lactose, dairy, I’ve always been that, and then as I started getting older, more allergies developed. So, you really have to learn how to, like, get creative with food if you want to be able to eat something. ... If cheese is in something, what else can I put in it?”

3. Living Off Green Drinks

Melissa also loves to drink her greens. “Some people may think it’s weird — I don’t. I live off of green drinks where it’s, like, you know, your kale your spinach your parsley your apple,” she says.

4. Baked French Fries and Chicken Fingers

Melissa’s signature dish? “It’s baked, not fried, French fries, but they have flavor; they have taste. Or chicken fingers, but same thing — a healthy version. So ... simple things,” she says.

5. Cheat Meals

Bangkok,-,May,26,,2019,:,Top,View,Of,DiaryShutterstock

Her “guilty pleasure” food? “I mean, Dairy Queen for sure. The thing is I’m happy that I don’t know here Dairy Queen is around me in LA, so it’s kind of a good thing. But when in doubt, if it’s, like, ‘no, I don’t care, I am just going for it,’ then I will just drive myself to the store, and I will get an either Oreo or cookie dough ice cream, and then I’ll be sick, because [of] my dairy issues. But eating it those few bites — it’ll be worth it.” She admits, “if my stomach would allow me to eat a Dairy Queen Blizzard every day, I would eat one, extra Oreos and cookie dough. You go big or go home. That’s it.”

6. Eating Out, But Healthy

Apanese,Sushi,Food.,Maki,Ands,Rolls,With,Tuna,,Salmon,,Shrimp,Shutterstock

Melissa, a member of the ETNT Medical Review board, explained to the publication that eating out at restaurants doesn’t have to be sinful. "It's all about the choices you make," says Melissa. "For instance, my first thought [of a healthy option] would be a sushi restaurant with lots of edamame and lots of fresh fish and seafood, but then again, you can order fried rock shrimp tempura in a creamy aioli sauce there, too. You just have to look a little harder and be a little more creative, but healthy options are always, always there."

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
